Also that last episode, in terms of length, should have been three episodes. Same for when Subaru made a fool of himself in the capital. A lot of nuances were lost when they rushed the episodes to fit better within the plot of the novellas. I can understand it from a production sense, but I still feel that an adaption that fails to capture important points within its run is just lazy. Wasn't a bad adaption, but it could have been a bit better imo if it ran for 48 and captured arcs 4 & 5 as well :D
Okay, i haven't seen anyone address this yet so i'm just going to asked this.
Why the hell did the Witch attacked Petelgeuse and knock him out of Subaru body and how the hell did Subaru know that that would happen. With the lack of info the anime gave episode 25 that screen makes no sense.
Witch loves Subaru and Subaru alone.
Petelgeuse isn't a car brand so the witch didn't like him and just sorta said "gtfo my bf's hot body rawr Xd" and gave him a little slap.
Beeatlegoose proceeds to believe that Based Carman is a slut and that the witch he saw was fake, because once he found the book and went into insanity his entire life was believed to have been possible through the love of the witch, and without that love he is nothing more than a hollow man clinging to some sentience of his self.
