So... I was thinking of using Spirit of the Pharaoh as my character's Guardian but, after beginning to develop the archtype I'm going to have her use, I decided that card was too integral to the Deck itself, so I made a new one.

Effect is by no means final, and I'm also willing to cut down on the ATK and DEF if 5k is too much to try and run over considering what it can do. Though unless I would've been allowed to use specific monsters this whole time, the Summoning condition will more than likely stick.

Oh, and in case you're wondering how I managed to get the blue background, I actually used the Magic Set Editor program to make this card, and used the Obelisk background for it. It's a cool way to make YGO cards once you set it up with the ability to make Xyz's and Pendulums, and download the right fonts to make the cards themselves look more authentic.
Thinking about it, I might go with the Spirit of the Pharaoh route. This will mean that I have to build on the Pharaoh card series so that it actually becomes viable, but I can easily manage that.

Could I actually use the Spirit of the Pharaoh as my character's guardian?

I might actually give this a shot. YGO RPs are pretty much bread and butter of the old site I used to RP in, and I was wondering when one would come up. Not sure about this RP using the Link Rules, but I think I can manage it

...

Biggest problem would be what kind of deck I wanna run. I like Zombies, but I'm not sure whether I'd wanna pick an actual archtype or go generic in this regard :/
Can't say I'm familiar with the Fate franchise. I mean, I've heard of it, but know nothing about its premise or anything :/
Hmm...

Could Aburame Clan insects possibly be treated as a tool, by any chance? Having trouble deciding what to class Shinri's bugs as atm :/
@Masaki Haruna I might actually start my apps for both Shinri and Shika, and either plant them here or PM them to you so you can compare which of the two ultimately turns out better. I don't know how much time I can spare since I still feel the need to prepare for NaNoWriMo, but I'll be sure to get them done (to the standard I'm familiar with anyway) before it begins.

...

Oh, and I'll try not to go ham with the personalities, but you guys should know that I normally write no less than 3 paragraphs for personality in general. It's become a force of habit for me this year in particular :/
I think I'm gonna say. I don't care about an Ino Shika Cho combo anymore.

Fair enough. We already see at least two generations of Ino Shika Cho in the anime itself, if not all three (I myself haven't seen Chocho, Shikadai or... the other Ino whose exact name I've forgotten already, but I imagine they all fight in the same manner as Choji, Shikamura and Ino do and as their parents do because children). So I understand a disinterest in seeing yet another Ino Shika Cho team

...

But yeah, that's two people that don't mind seeing either Shinri or Shika... and no support for Eari :/

Tempted to go with the Shika here since I have her fleshed out in my mind more than I have Shinri fleshed out atm. But I might wait and see who else has a say about any of my three char ideas before I fully decide
So... kinda stuck between 3 character ideas. I'll put them all here in this post and go with whichever of the three seems the most popular

The first character is Eari Uzumaki. She has the very same shade of red hair that the Uzumaki Clan is known for and has yellow eyes, but wears a rainbow colored attire. Eari shares certain personality traits with her most notable descendants in Naruto and Boruto, but unlike either of them, she can't fire off Ransengans or deploy Shadow Clones, among other things. This is because Eari actually has no affinity for ninjutsu whatsoever, and must rely solely on taijutsu and genjutsu to triumph over her enemies. Eari's most prominent technique is a variation of Uzumaki Barrage that uses her genjutsu to achieve the things the Shadow Clones would achieve for Naruto's Uzumaki Barrage. She has a medium level of chakra available, but burns through it worryingly quickly due to poor chakra control.

Second char is ShinriKiyaru Aburame, whose first name his teammates tend to shorten to Shinri. He wears a kimino and has an androgynous appearance to him, with shoulder length black hair and fading white eyes. Shinri is physically blind, but his heightened hearing and sense of touch provide him a good understanding of his surrounding, as do the insects that are housed in his body as per the Aburame Clan tradition. These specific insects are aquatic in nature, which support the possibility that Shinri will have an affinity for Water Release Jutsu. His battle style has a balance of offense and defense to it, and he seems capable of analyzing his opposition on the fly and adapting accordingly. His vast level of chakra control is more than enough to mask the scarcity of his total reserves.

Finally, Shika Nara. Her brown hair is tied in a single ponytail, and she has emerald green eyes. Her breasts are relatively large for someone her age; they're even comparable in size to those of fully grown women, which is something that Shika takes particular pride in. Aside from the coveted Shadow Imitation Jutsu, Shika has access to a handful of powerful Jutsu that were passed down from her sensei, who was particularly known for the utilization of Fire Release Jutsu. Shika is an arrogant kunoichi, who can also sadistic towards other battling shinobi, but at the same time, she feels as though she has a lot to prove; not just to Konoha, but to all five Great Nations. Shika has a massive pool of chakra, and her level of control is satisfactory for her purposes.

...

So yeah, those are the three character ideas I have: two Reds in Eari and Shinri, and a Rival in Shika. Which one sounds best to you guys?
Either or will have my interest checked.

Though before I vote: Would I be allowed to give my character family ties with one from the actual show(s)? I know that canon descendants are usually frowned upon in general, but Naruto in particular has a lot of jutsu and shit that're already covered by the vast array of clans they have :/
I was actually going to use a TVR Griffith for my char, which (and I looked this up earlier just to be safe) they did make a variant for in Japan. Hence why I asked. But now that I know that they'd be right-hand drive either way... that kind of changes things :/

Thank you nonetheless.
