'Saint's Chariot', Personal battleship of Emperor Gregori Amastov, Present day

@TemplarKnight07@Hecticlord@Evil Snowman

Gregori listened as his generals discussed their strategy of diplomacy. Hopefully it would be true that the Forge moon was still under the control of the Adeptus Mechanicus and that they were open to negotiation. The idea of a small group of diplomats meeting to both assess the Forge Moons condition as well as possibly convince them to allow a further discussion of joining the Imperium Reborn was indeed a sound strategy. The talk of the Cannonness joining was worrisome, she could very well ruin any chance of a permanent relationship with the Forge Moon with her Zealotry. On that front he agreed with Lord Corbec.

"I agree with Lord Corbec. The Canoness Ishita is... to volatile for such a possibly delicate diplomatic situation. She shall remain in orbit with the fleet until we are certain she can cause no damage to our negotiations. The rest of the Diplomatic party seems... more than adequate."

The Emperor concluded with a nod of assurance. "If things do devolve into a war... we must avoid damaging the Forge Moon or it's Techpriests. They are a commodity we cannot afford to lose. Our current Mechanicus has but a hundred or so Priests, hardly enough to keep everything running, and they can only train more so quickly. Above all when we take the Priests prisoner they must be treated with utmost respect and civility, comfortable quarters and preferential treatment. I will not have Techpriests mistreated in any way. If possible they must become willing prisoners who we may release to work for and with us. Of course, this is all only if things devolve into a war, which I sincerely hope they will not. Well, Generals you may return to your ships, as the next strategy meeting will not be until we arrive in Orbit. If any of you have business to with me or other matters, feel free to remain here", he concluded decisively.

Gregori watched from beneath a mask of neutrality as K'vari arrived with his usual train of goods. More than a few were simply baubles and bribes in his many crates, but occasionally the Xeno would begrudgingly offer something of use to him. A weapon or personal object or Ecclesiastical relic. Perhaps he would receive something like that today along with stealth drives for his ships. As K'vari began his little rant Gregori purposefully spaced out to an extent, refusing to let the repugnant little thing butter him up. Despite the traders experience in trading far overshadowing the Emperor's own Gregori was not without advantages in these trades. First and foremost was the Aliens confidence. He had been swindling humans his entire life, with much success. Even the most careful of negotiators grow complacent and overconfident after enough victory, and K'vari had experienced much victory over humans in his life.

Gregori could almost not get over how... hideous the little creature was. Dog-like and haunting he looked not unlike the boogeymen of old bed time stories meant to scare children into obedience, the creature that hid under the bed and stole away foolish and naughty children. He watched the creases of his pug like face move and crack as he gestured about and attempted to hype up his super weapons. These 'Phase Reality fields' would surely prove invaluable, but Gregori had plan to not only ensure they would work but that he'd not be swindled for them. Speaking of price, Gregori raised an eybrow at the traders'.

"Ten percent of what Master Trader K'vari? You must be more specific, I will not blindly acceopt any price after all!", Gregori joked to the xeno as he waited for clarification on the price. "Ah, and what else have you brought before me today? I see your... servants heavy with goods."

Forge Moon Amatheus, Manufactorum Alpha I

@Marx

The Magos nodded as the Wolf Lord communicated that he as on approach. "+++Hurry Wolf Lord, I know not how long I can hold this breach.+++", even as he spoke the already damaged Kataphron servutors' chest exploded as a rocket slammed home into it. Blood, oil and metal sliced through the air, killing a fair number of nearby cultists. Xerxes shuddered at it as he cut down another squad, the other two Servitors had both their weapons blazing, Plasma culverin and phosphor blaster, Gravity Cannon and flamer tearing into the Hordes of Heretics. If the Wolves did not arrive soon, it may be they will arrive at a breach with no one to reinfiorce.
