Welp here is essentially finalized House Reyne, criticism welcome.

This is what I have so far, PoVs should be done tomorrow.

Sorry this took so long, I have been busy the last couple of days. I should have something up for House Reyne within a day or two.
Well this looks interesting, I would like to express interest and to say that House Reyne would be my preference.
@Asura if your'e thinking of doing Black Templars, something to note. In the setting most of them goes absolutely insane and just start killing most everyone they come across.

As Gabriel listened to the transmission from the Magos he couldn't help but grimace. The amount of leadership that would be one place would be crippling if someone managed to get to them. But on the other hand the Imperium needed this Forge Moon which would mean going along with what the Magos wanted. Add Chaos into the mix and it made this situation even more dangerous. When Gabriel heard the suggestion of deploying troops he already had thoughts of how he would accomplish it, but there were complications in the way.

"My Emperor, as much as I would want to deploy our soldiers down onto the Forge Moon we will not be able to. Not until the Magos gives us permission. If he is anything like the Magi of the Old Imperium then he will not take to kindly to us landing troops on his planet without his permission. As unfortunate as it is we may have to go along with the Magos's request. If we do I volunteer to go down as the military coordinator."

As Gabriel spoke an aide came in and delivered a datapad to him. As he read through it he scowled.

"My Emperor. I have found the location of Captain Lattore. He is currently down on the surface of the Forge Moon with most of his chapter. Also of note Lord Karthis decided to transmit a message to the Chaos fleet on all vox channels, giving up any hope of surprise that we might have had. Both were done without any orders. I would recommend that both be disciplined after the Forge Moon has been taken."
As the fleet traveled through the warp, Gabriel couldn't help but think on the disagreement he had with Lord Karthis. While Gabriel could understand Karthis's reluctance to give up control of his men it was an issue that would have to be addressed. But later, after the Forge Moon had been taken. Though this time he would approach Karthis in a more diplomatic fashion.

---

As the fleet arrived in system and the reports started filtering in Gabriel's eyes hardened. Chaos ships in orbit around the Forge Moon, Gabriel knew his men would probably be needed on the surface below. So Gabriel began issuing orders to the Imperial Guardsmen in the fleet. Make ready for deployment to the Forge Moon below. If the orders to attack came the Imperial Guard would be ready.

As the battle in space progressed Gabriel couldn't help but smile with savage glee. It felt good to be fighting for the Imperium once more, even if the Imperium wasn't exactly the same. He also hoped that everyone understood the significance of this battle. This was hopefully the start of something new. Something that could help bring order to this chaotic mess of a galaxy. If everything went well of course.

By the time Gregori's order to come to his flagship arrived Gabriel was already half way to the hangar on his vessel. He had intended to be ready to deploy with his men, but instead he diverted to the Saint's Chariot. As he entered the meeting room he could only hope that in the coming battles his men would survive. As Gabriel entered he noticed that Captain Tyros and Inquisitor Alexius had arrived before. He nodded to them in greeting before turning and bowing to Gregori before addressing him.
"My Emperor, my men stand ready. We only await your command. If the foul forces of Chaos think they can take this Forge Moon then they are sorely mistaken."

Gabriel swore he could feel the beginning of a headache coming on. In the last week several things had happened that had drastically enlarged his workload. First Inquisitor Alexius had sent over the data on the military forces of the Errant Cohort and to be honest it was a mess. Millions of men in who knew how many regiments and the different cultures that they had developed. Though there were also the xenos troops that Gabriel now found under his command which he found surreal. Not to mention the message that the Inquisitor attached to it that made Gabriel worry even more. Secondly the Space Hulk that had dropped in system that turned out to be occupied by humans, and the fact that they had joined the Imperium. This compounded Gabriel's problems as it turned out they had their own version of the Guard that he needed to try to incorporate into the power structure. Lastly the first reports from the underhive were coming in and some of the things they presented made Gabriel worry.

But even for all the work that Gabriel now had he still worked his way through it. First was the military from the Errant Cohort. In the days following the message from Alexius orders started streaming from the Imperial Guard Headquarters. There were consolidation of regiments into something more standardized, the establishment of a clear chain of command, promotions for those worthy to be officers from his ranks, the PDF, and those among the Errant Cohort, and even demotions for those not worthy of command. Most of the xenos troops were left alone for now except for the orders that they would stay behind in the trip to the Forge Moon. While Gabriel knew that this would throw those forces into chaos for a bit, it needed to be done so that they would be ready if they were needed.

Secondly was the forces of the 'Ark Imperialis' as it was called. Corbec could only hope they took his message well.

Lord Regent Karthis,

Hail to a fellow servant of the Imperium. I am Lord-Militant Gabriel Corbec and I am the man in charge of the Imperial Guard in this Imperium. It has come to my attention that you have your own version of the guard, and while this may seem sudden to you I hope to consolidate our commands. As the Imperial Guard may be needed in the upcoming expansions I wish there to be only one chain of command and not multiple that could contradict each other. While i know that you might be loathe to give up command of your men, I would ask at the very least that I could attach a liaison to your headquarters so that we might more easily cooperate and maybe even begin the discussion of how to incorporate your men into the Imperial Guard.

The Emperor Protects,

Lord-Militant Gabriel Corbec, of the Imperial Guard

Lastly was the reports that were coming out of the underhive. Those necessitated a message to Inquisitor Alexius, this one encrypted.

+++Decryption Successful+++

Inquisitor Alexius,

It worries me that someone was able to infiltrate your fleet and I assure you that I will keep a close eye on my men and the fleet. You also asked me to report any suspicious activity to you, and I have found some in the underhive. First off the gangs are to well equipped. Usually the gangs would be equipped with autoguns with the occasional lasgun, but the lasgun seems to be the standard armament. This means that someone has been supplying them with weaponry. Also something else that is strange is the absence of the drug dealers down there. Evidently they just started disappearing and it seems like someone was attempting to exterminate them. Both of these combined makes it seem to me that someone was making a push down here in the underhive, though for what purpose I do not know. My suspicions lie with K'vari as the xeno seems like one of the few that I know of that could discreetly funnel weapons down here, though I do not have any proof. I hope that you can do more with this information than I can.

The Emperor Protects,

Lord-Militant Gabriel Corbec, of the Imperial Guard

I'm still here, just waiting for the next post.

As Gregori made his announcement Gabriel was glad that he had agreed to leave the Canoness in orbit. The Munitorum in general never had good relations with the cult Mechanicus and Gabriel doubted that had changed. Though as Gregori mentioned capturing Tech Priests alive Gabriel couldn't help but grimace a little. Tech Priests had a reputation for stubbornness and would not come easily if it came to blows. Nevertheless his would order his men to do the best that they could. When Inquisitor Alexius began addressing him Gabriel couldn't help but smile.

"I thank you Inquisitor for giving me command of your troops. I will use them to the best of my ability, though I hope I won't need them in the upcoming campaign" he said as he returned the bow to the Inquisitor.

Gabriel remained in the stayed in the chamber as the Inquisitors exited before turning to Gregori.

"My Emperor, I have a request regarding the stealth drive that the xeno, K'vari, demonstrated. While yes it is revolutionary and could change our void tactics, I do not trust him. I would ask that you ask him to allow further tests with the device before you think of purchasing it. I would not want to rely on a device that would only suddenly fail when we need it most."

His request made Gabriel bowed before leaving the chamber to board his shuttle down to the surface.

Imperial Guard Headquarter, Arexia Prime, Present day

Gabriel had been busy in the last couple of days as he had been drafting orders for the PDF, Imperial Guard, and the Inquisition troops under his command. Most of the orders had been to start preparing for the campaign, though a few consisted of orders telling what the men left behind would be doing. Namely, the continuation of the training of the next generation of guardsmen. Because of that he was a bit behind on reports of what were going on Arexia Prime. Though now that he was done he could start to go over the reports that had been put on his desk.

As Gabriel read through the reports on the Obsidian Crusade and what had happened to them, he couldn't help but sigh in exasperation. As got to the gang wars that were occurring in the underhives right now Gabriel put down the dataslate and cursed. That situation was handled poorly to say the least. When Gabriel had first read the reports on the Obsidian Crusade he had hopes that he might be able to recruit them to the Imperial Guard to serve as a militia here on the capital. But that oppurtunity was gone now.

Gabriel sighed once more as he began to draft new orders for some of the units of the PDF who would be staying behind to garrison Arexia Prime. They were to march down into the underhive and subdue the gangs that were currently fighting. In the process though they would also begin the construction of aid stations down there and begin to provide better food, water, and medicine that the underhivers probably didn't have access to. These aid stations would also serve as recruiting stations for those that wished to leave the underhive by offering them places among either the Imperial Guard or PDF. They were also ordered to induct the gangs that surrendered into the Guard so that they might prove their loyalty to the Imperium.

As Gabriel finished drafting the orders and began issuing them to the appropriate units he couldn't help but sigh once more. He didn't want to do this, but unfortunately the Arbites were having trouble handling this and the gang wars could not be allowed to rage unchecked. Gabriel could only hope that this would perhaps improve the public's view of the Guard and he would see an upsurge of volunteers. He didn't want to have to rely on conscripts.
