Name: Sól
Appearance:
Ignore the cast of RWBY in the background. :P Class: Samurai - Reclass Option Soldier
Age: 22
Sex: Well, judging by the picture, if that's a he, it's an impressively shapely he. (Aka, Female)
Weapon Rank: D Sword, E Lance "Mom wanted me to be a Pegasus Knight, but nyeeeeeh. Don't like relying on some giant puppy with wings to get me around."
Equipment: "I bear a legendary blade soaked in the blood of many worlds, that so goes by as many names, Yawning-Abyss that gnaws at the edges of worlds, Sun-Stealer that blankets the bones in dark cold death, Undying-Dragon that rises at dusk in hatred, Shattered-Glass-Edge, that pricks the virgin blood of children. Who are you to do battle with such a blade?!?" If it were statted out, it'd be a iron Katana(6 Mt, 90 Ht, +1 Spd, -1 Def/Res with a special +5 crit, -5 crit evade).
Also, some herbs, some rope, and a super snug visibly well-loved fur coat.
Skills:
Class-Deulist's Blow (+30 Avoid when initiating combat), Sól is an utterly unpredictable and swift attacker, often achieving victory, or at least confusing the opponent with her dramatic attacks. That said, she doesn't pay nearly as much attention to defense as a normal myrmidon given the tissue quality armor they wear.
Custom-Yawning-Abyss (1/4th of total MT is true damage when using her custom weapon), Sól's claims that her sword is special and has been to many worlds are given at least one meaningful point of data backing it up. Yawning-Abyss seems to follow rules just a tiny bit different than the rules of this world, some small portion of every strike cutting through any defense, no matter how thick the armor or strong the blessing. She still has to hit though.
Plot subjective: Yes! SO MUCH YES! And here's some starting points. Sól might truly be from another world, but she also might not. Something might be blocking her memories, or the memories she still has are fakes. She might be able to enhance the power of her weapon by absorbing more items from other worlds, or the ability of her weapon may be psychosomatic, aka, it's her skill doing it, but she believe's it's a power of her weapon and that's why she can't do it with anything else.
Personality: Sól is a person eager to help and assist friends, but not necessarily good at it. She's quickly volunteer to assist with any task, but will nearly equally tire of the task and become listless and slow to help. She'll listen to any trouble or woe, but she'll keep interrupting you to propose solutions when you just want someone to listen to you while you talk. Sól also doesn't mind telling you about her past, or what of it she remembers, but you'll probably hear more of it in more flowery terms than you expected.
Biography: Sól's is an amnesiac. Not in the "I remember nothing" sense. But in the "There are really suspicious holes in my memory at really key points. And tons of my memories of everyday life are just not there." So, take what is written here with a grain salt, as it's just what Sól has figured. In fact, let's do it from her perspective.
"Aright, let me tell you the tale of Sól, walker of
six worlds! I was born in a shattered realm of deep canyons of layered crags and tall mountains wreathed about their middle in purple vines (I still really love grapes, btw, just saying, my birthday's coming up). I could tell we lived alone to escape some sordid past or perhaps vengeful villain's son of heroic bloodshed past. When I did finally come of somewhat age and venture forth I found myself in snowy dunes, far too quickly for it to be the natural change of climes, thus, naturally I must have walked through the hidden ways between worlds. Fought I did with bears (I'll admit, I used to have a keepsake spear from my mother, as well as my father's blade. Uhm... I advise not picking fights with bears. Especially big white ones..) and sparred with those who knew the snow and ice well, fighting it not with scant clothes and willpower (How do the Feroxi manage that? Metal right next to your skin in winter? BRRRR...) but with skill, preparation, and loooovely warm fur coats. When I left them, for no troubles had they for a hero to assist them with, I rowed away into the ocean. I must have sailed between worlds, for I landed now on dunes of fiery mountains and black sand, where indigenous islanders fought against other invaders from across the sea. After some starting snafus, as they were understandably hostile of outsiders, I aided them in their battle. They were staunch and spiritual, defending their homes with fury and faith... But they also didn't trust each other as much as they didn't trust me, long squabbles against each other turning them against each other. We fought, but in the end we lost (And I lost the spear they gave me too. It had a really sharp edge of razor black glass, but their wood sucked. Splintered the first time I received a charge, and I have a nasty scar on my chest for it. Grumble. ) When I was backed against an open volcano, the last of our defenders outnumbered with nowhere to run, I fell backwards into the searing heat under the murderous assault, I awoke in a forest serene, having walked between another world no doubt. It was actually really boring there. I was mostly just hungry, and my stuff was gone, which definitely would not stand. Took me forever to find this caravan. The guy who had stolen my stuff was totally there, some sleazy bloke who had the looks of an underling for some slimy fat guy (Well, I saw that guy too, so, not just guessing), so I punched him in the nose and got it back, running back into the forest as they sent a bunch a guys after me. Hid in a tree, nyeeeh. Next I found some plains land before a coast, which didn't seem all that out of place with the forest, but given the gap in my memory and the pattern, I'm betting it's another world too, which I was pretty yay about. Forest world was the worst as a whole, even though bear and volcano weren't fun moments, those worlds still had cool people. I worked my way aboard a ship for adventure, and what do you know, next thing I know I'm on a shore, no ship or dock within sight, and I met up with you guys. Your cause seem's pretty just, and I'm glad to finally have a chance to do some hero-ing with a solid team. I'll miss you guys when I walk to the next world."
