Alex nodded to Lilly just as she had to him. Two more followed her out the door. Well, at least this meant not everyone was too focused on partying when something may be going wrong. He followed Lilly quickly rushing up the stairs. He wasn't sure but he thinks he remembered hearing something about another party going on two floors above his. Maybe that is where the scream came from.
Upon entering the room, Alex started to blank. What was going on? Looking around he couldn't tell if there was any foul play going on. He let Lilly do her thing and then walked over, "Okay, everyone back up and give her some space. If there are any medical students around help Lilly with her. You go find this floors RA. And you call the nurse already. If anyone saw or recorded what happened let the room know." Alex started walking around the room trying to see if he could find anything that seemed odd.
Micky had failed horribly to meet and greet with anyone around him. He knew how to socialize but flirting was not his thing so every time he tried to talk to someone he quickly snuck away before a conversation could start. Why had he decided to come here? No one wanted to spend time with a bumbling buffoon when they could have someone charming them off their feet.
He slowly roamed around the floor listening to the various conversations as he passed by. He couldn't find any specific one that he'd want to join in on. Micky breathed a sigh of relief when they were told to make their way to their seats. This way he couldn't slip away from talking and would be able to force himself to talk with someone.
Micky listened as the table went around introducing themselves. It was quite a cast of interesting characters. It finally came to Micky to speak up and he reflexively mimicked the guy right next to him by standing up. "Oh uh HI! Umm, my name is Micky, I mean Mitchell Woulfe, but I am called Micky by everyone. I'm a musical theatre student at college and currently work at a music store. It is a pleasure to meet you all. I look forward to any future adventures with you all." Micky smiled and after realizing he was still standing slowly lowered himself to his seat. Well, that was out of the way. Hopefully, everything else would be easier.
Don't worry. I won't be coming for use of TaskMaster if anyone else is using him. Even if I wanted to use him for this first plot I couldn't bring myself to do so as he is one of my favorite Marvel villains and my season one villain is a setup for my season two villain and I don't want to waste my time with TaskMaster as a setup guy. That's why I'm looking for lower level mercenary types.
In other news I have my sample post done. I couldn't think of a good scene to go with so I made something random that could show up as a random thing happening in an episode for comedic relief.
I decided to look at some other sheets before working on my sample post and saw Batroc mentioned in the Nemesis sheet. Does anyone have any ideas of someone I could use to replace him in mine? Any decently skilled b to low a tier mercenary would do other than Taskmaster as if I were to use him it'd be for something bigger.
With the thing about Hawkeye that was his canonical inspiration and I couldn't really figure out if I wanted to change it or not so I decided to just leave it as well as they are only an hour away from each other so I thought it'd be funny if something happened that caused Iron Man to come after Hawkeye thinking he was a criminal. That thought just made me chuckle so I left it in in case something like that ever occurred.
Wanted to go ahead and get this out. Will work on the Sample Post once I get back home. Also, @Sep as you are Iron Man wanted to ask your thoughts on something. Canonically, when Scott gets out of prison he gets a job at Stark Industries. I didn't wanna make that decision without consulting you so what are your thoughts?

HAWKEYE & THE ANT
CLINT BARTON|SCOTT LANG ♦ UNEMPLOYED|ELECTRICIAN ♦ LOS ANGELES ♦ VIGILANTES
C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T:
"I tried playing golf yesterday. Eighteen holes and I got a total score of eighteen. I just can't seem to miss."
In this story of Hawkeye and Ant-Man I will be starting at the very beginning of their heroic life. Clint Barton's early life will be exactly the same. He even still chooses to emulate Iron Man by dressing up and using his skills to fight crime. Unfortunately for him, the police mistook him for another weirdly dressed up thief. He tries to write this misconception but is found by William Cross who blackmails him using the information of Clint's time with Tiboldt's Circus. Crossfire brings him and a few others together in order to steal the Seismo-Bomb.
Scott Lang's life up to this point is also very similar. About a month after being released from prison, Scott's daughter Cassie was diagnosed with a serious congenital heart condition. Between the money that Scott and his ex-wife were making they couldn't muster up the cash to pay for medical bills. Desperate to help his daughter Scott turned back to crime. He lied saying that he simply received a pay raise and in the meantime, they have been able to pay for medical bills. But one night coming back from a haul Scott is confronted by Crossfire who desires the use of Scott's skills. At first, Scott refuses but Crossfire shows him pictures of Scott breaking into various places effectively blackmailing Scott into helping Crossfire and a few others in stealing the Seismo-Bomb.
During the heist, both Clint and Scott realize the other doesn't want to go through with this, and over the course of events, the two stop the heists alerting those who had the bomb of the villain's presence. The police eventually show up but Crossfire gets away while the rest of his crew get arrested including Scott. He tells them that Crossfire was threatening him but as he is an ex-convict they don't believe him. Clint works to find proof but can't find any. Scott is eventually let out on bail which his ex-wife, Maggie, pays for and which was only posted as he did help get the others caught. Maggie doesn't know if she believes Scott and despite helping him out if threatening to fight for full custody of her.
The two both know that since Crossfire escaped it was likely that he'd be coming for them. Scott also reinvigorates his desire to clean up his act. So, in the meantime, they decide to team up to watch each other's backs as well as using what they know to help people and maybe figure out who hired Crossfire.
C H A R A C T E R M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S:
Both Clint and Scott are thieves with hearts of gold. They want to help people but because of their pasts, they keep getting dragged into various messes that alone neither would be able to get themselves out of. I've always thought that the small parallels between the two was quite interesting but never really thought much of it until now.
I have always thought a pairing of these two would be quite interesting as they are both loud-mouthed numbskulls with no powers yet do what they can despite themselves for the greater good. The first story arc they have will involve Crossfire and they will be trying to figure out who hired him. Along the way, they will do battle with various low-tier villains slowly uncovering the over-arching story as they go along just like the CW. I have more 'season' ideas planned out but for now the plan of season one for "Hawkeye and the Ant" starts here.
C H A R A C T E R N O T E S:
Hawkeye himself. As a child, Clint and his brother Barney had it rough. Their father was an alcoholic who'd occasionally get rough. Barney would teach Clint how to fight and helped him improve his aim. When they were young both of their parents died and the boys would go from foster home to foster home until they encountered and subsequently joined a circus. As a member of the circus, Clint would hone his skills as an archer and would eventually be brought in to the crime side of the circus joining them in various crimes. He eventually grew to hate being a criminal and then one day he saw a news report of the hero Iron Man. It struck some inspiration in him and that's his story.
Scott Lang was born and raised in Coral Gables, Florida, the son of Bob Lang. He later became an electronic engineer and met and married Maggie Rae. Together they had a daughter Cassandra "Cassie" Lang. Although he was an electronics expert he could not support his family doing repair work, so he turned his talents to burglary. Apprehended, he served his prison sentence and was paroled for good behavior. During his time in prison, however, Maggie divorced him. Lang had furthered his studies of electronics while in prison and once he got out somehow found a job as an electrician at Stark Industries. Soon after, his daughter fell ill will a terrible heart disease. After this is where the story will happen.
The ex-wife of Scott Lang and mother of Cassie Lang. Maggie and Scott met in college and they had a very stereotypical romance. After college, they got married and had Cassie. When Maggie discovered that Scott had resorted to stealing she tried to get him to stop. When he was arrested she was hurt that he didn't listen to her. She divorced him but wouldn't do anything to try and separate Scott and Cassie and once he got out she willingly let Cassie stay with him every other week. However, after this recent arrest, she says she is going to fight to take full custody if he doesn't stop committing crimes.
Cassie Lang is the daughter of Scott and Peggy. Despite what Scott does she still adores him. Largely in part to the fact that he's the quote-unquote, nice parent. She does genuinely get along with him better tending to have a lot of similar likes and personality traits. Recently she has been afflicted with a congenital heart condition and has to take medication in between waiting for her parents to be able to afford surgery. She often has to stay at the hospital in case her situation becomes worse.
Other characters will go here as and when they’re introduced.
S A M P L E P O S T:
Scott was pooped. He was happy for this job at Stark Industries but it was hard work. Having to walk up five flights of stairs to his apartment late at night didn't help. He finally made it to the door and upon opening it instantly shut the door. "Ugh! What is that smell?" He plugged his nose opening the door back up, "Clint. What on earth are you doing?"
"Clint?" He slowly walked into the apartment grabbing the bat from behind the door and slowly inched his way towards the living room from which the smell resonated. His heart started beating and he saw a pair of legs sticking off the side of the couch. He inched as close as he could without alerting whoever it was and then jumped out yelling. Clint who was sleeping feet up on the couch woke up screaming as well as the three puppies near his face waking up and barking at Scott.
Clint quickly got to his feet and stared absentmindedly at Scott as he started to try and piece together what was going on. "Clint, you know I love dogs but why are there three of them here and please tell me that smell didn't come from them."
Clint looked at the three little dogs and took a deep breath of the air nearly gagging at the smell. He must have been asleep longer than he realized. "Well, I was out dealing with your average everyday bank robbers and to be honest they were easier to deal with than normal. So, after I subdued them and left them for the cops I decided to roam around town waiting to see if anything else would pop up. And whattaya know I come across this box with the cutest most sweetest puppies you ever darn did see and they gave me those trademarked puppy dog eyes and I just had to bring them here."
Scott groaned shaking his head. "I'm not supposed to have pets in this apartment let alone three! You almost count as a pet at this point. Mrs. Garcia will kill me, evict me, and then kill me again if she ever finds out. You are going to clean up this mess and take those dogs to a pound in the morning while I get some sleep. No please this time."
'63s in progress at the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Louise Avenue. Assistance requested.'
"Oh uhh, did ya hear that. Duty calls. Go ahead and get started without me I'll be right back." Clint quickly threw on some clothes and hopped out the window to the fire escape not even taking his bow. "CLINT! I didn't get you that police scanner so you could bail out on chores. Come on! And that's a protest and you know it. YOU DIDN'T EVEN GRAB YOUR MASK!"
Scott dropped his head and the bat in frustration. Looks like he wasn't getting any rest just yet.

Attribute Script
Description A type of letter magic that is used to apply varying attributes to items. There are some limitations to what kind of attributes. An example is that using this magic, one can make a blade hotter than it normally would be but they cannot set it on fire via said magic. It is more of an effect on the item directly and not really how it interacts with its surroundings. Another example is that the magic can make a drink taste alcoholic but it can't actually make the drink alcoholic. There is a limitation to how many attributes one can place on a specific item and how many items they can alter at a time. This all depends on the user's skill level and magical endurance. Also, depending on the complexity of the attribute it can take longer than other attributes to apply to something, and the more attributes one item has the longer it takes to add a new attribute.
Durability - Makes the item in question more durable Sharpness - Makes any edge on the item in question feel sharper Lightweight - Makes the item in question feel lighter Silent - Makes the item in question move through the air quieter and when it is set upon something or as it moves against something Burning - Makes the item in question feel hot to the touch Sticky - Makes the item in question stick to other surfaces Rejuvenating - Makes the item in question feel rejuvenating; a placebo effect making someone feel energized and similarly to adrenaline makes it where the person can't fight through the pain a little easier Prickly - Makes the item in question feel spiky Poisonous - Makes the item in question, upon touch, apply a placebo effect causing a person to feel ill Chilly - Makes the item in question feel cold to the touch
Requip
Description Annalyse uses a simple form of Requip, IE she is still working on improving her skill with it, She can keep a few things in her pocket dimension. She isn't very good at pulling things from there during a tense situation so she tends to carry as much on her as possible.
B-
Motherly/Protective: Typically, Annalyse is too nervous or scared to stand up to anyone. But she cares so deeply about people that she will go out of her way to defend or comfort someone she cares about or if they are a child no matter the consequences or dangers she may put herself in.
Intelligent: Annalyse is quite smart for her age. This largely comes from her interest in reading. At the orphanage, she would read every book in the library no matter what they were and there were quite a few textbooks. She even enjoyed reading those because she also enjoyed learning new things. Any time she found a new book it'd be hard to get her to put it down.
Hard-Working: From a young age, Annalyse has been a hard worker. Due to growing up in an orphanage she had a lot of chores and would do her job without complaining seeing it as her part to play as one of the kids who were able to stay somewhere safe rather than being homeless. As she got older more was heaped onto her and she continued to throw herself into her duties.
Nervous: Annalyse has always been a nervous child. She is scared of many things and worries a lot. She has a bad habit of doubting her actions and choices.
Clumsy: As a result of her nervousness, Annalyse can tend to second guess her actions and will tend to stumble. This usually only happens if others are around, pressure has been placed on her, or she's trying something new.
Unassertive: Annalyse has little to no confidence in herself or her abilities. She tends to downplay herself to herself so it takes quite a lot for her to bring herself to fight or do something that most mages would do on instinct.
Annalyse can be described as a softspoken motherly type. She cares for other people and doesn't like seeing anyone sad or hurting. Much less if they were someone she was close to. Especially the other kids from the orphanage. If she feels that anyone she's close to is suffering in any way then she will do her best to take care of them. Even if they don't want it. Annalyse always tries to find a reason to smile. For it was a smile that helped her in her greatest time of need. However, Annalyse doesn't have the best control over her emotions so it is fairly easy for them to take over.
Annalyse doesn't know anything about where she came from. The first memory she can recall was of her in an orphanage at the age of five. All she knew was her name was Annalyse Verdine, she seemed to be a spectacle to the other kids, and no adults were gonna tell her anything. She did have a picture of a couple which she was told was her parents, and that whenever she chose to leave the orphanage that she would receive a gift that had been from her parents. Her life in the orphanage was fairly simple. She did chores, played with the other kids, and would read books often. Only thing was that anytime people would come to visit the orphanage none of them ever gave her any thought. She couldn't really explain it but she felt lonely.
The only friendship she found was in the numerous books in the library. Annalyse fell in love with the stories to such a point she desired to one day live one of those kinds of adventures herself. By the time she became sixteen, the young girl was fed up with the place. She had always felt like an outcast so anyway she could escape was a viable option to her. This and her love of adventure books led her to try magic. She wanted to be able to join a guild and live a life of excitement. When the manager of the orphanage discovered that Annalyse was practicing magic the woman promptly kicked the teen out. The woman surprisingly though gave the item from her parents to her. Well, more like threw it at her. It was a massive sword that apparently had been her father's which was called Eclipse. Having no place to stay, Annalyse went to the closest magic guild and told them her situation. She begged for them to let her stay. She even promised manual labor. So far she has been turned down at every turn. Now she finds herself in Magnolia hoping the newly reformed Fairy Tail will accept her.
Ok, so I have no idea if the way I explained the magic made sense or not. My head works weird and any time I try to explain something I always seem to leave something out. One thing I have to say is that if it seems OP, trust me when I say it isn't. And the things she does to the items can affect people in an offhand way. Example. With the whole making a drink taste alcoholic, what it does is it tricks the mind of the person who drank it into making the person feel drunk even though they aren't. It is like a placebo effect.
Eclipse A massive blade which was wielded by Annalyse's father. She has put quite a few attributes to the blade. Durability, Sharpness, Lightweight, Silent, and Burning.

I just have to figure out good strengths and weaknesses for my character and I'll be able to put her here. She is more of a support mage than anything who uses magic I made up called Attribute Script. It, as the name suggests, applies attributes to items.
