@Zapdos Generally yes. I do tend to look at the pages of other guilders I like to role play with, you being one of them despite not much interaction with each other outside of that one piece rp, and if they’re in a rp I like the sound of I will generally attempt to join it. But this time no. I discovered it in the interest check only just after the ooc was posted.
This sounds extremely cool. Dean Geyer and Kira Rausch would be the FC's I'd be using. Not certain on color yet. Anyone wanna do an alternative rock style band?

Having finished the cat which she had started on the plane, Sadie looked around the quaint pub for a new muse. She hadn't been to this place often despite it being so close to her apartment. But the interior was so warm and cozy it caused her to wonder why she didn't come here more often. Looking around the place her eyes eventually landed on a boy on a laptop who seemed to be hiding away just like her. His hands were gliding along the keyboard with practiced ease. Not really sure as to why Sadie found herself wanting to draw him. She moved her pencil to paper and the crude attempt at making art imitate life began.
She hadn't made it very far in her doodle before her booth was approached. Sadie looked at the girl asking if she was ready to order. At that moment Sadie realized she hadn't even looked at the menu. She dropped the pencil to quickly look over the menu until something caught her eye. She looked up at the waitress and said, "Umm, could I get the Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich with Brie. I've never even thought of combining a PB&J with cheese. It sounds interesting. Oh, and can I get a fresh cup of coffee? Black."
*Time - Early Afternoon *Location - Sol City International Airport -> The Old Starboard
Sadie blinked her eyes as the light of the sun danced across her face from the window that the passenger in front of her had opened. She groaned at the sudden awakening. Looking around she could see that her plane had finally landed. She was back in Sol City. How long had she been gone? To be honest Sadie had completely lost track of the days these past few weeks. She grabbed her things, which albeit wasn't much, as she had left Sol City in a fairly rapid manner and didn't have time to pack much. All she really had was her backpack and satchel. She didn't even have any suitcases to grab. Outside of the plane, the hustle and bustle of people going from terminal to terminal were a little nauseating. So many people going about their busy lives while she was trapped in her slow lane.
The young dancer rushed towards the exit so that she could get some of that crisp cool air that she had grown accustomed to over the course of her college career. She took a deep breath letting herself calm down. It seemed less crowded outside so that seemed to help. She looked out at the city which had been her home for the past few years and felt a little ostracized. Largely in part to her own doing as she really hadn't kept in touch with anyone while she was gone. Just her professors and a few classmates as well as one co-worker from Footsteps. Gosh, she missed that place. Before working there if anyone had told her she'd enjoy working at a sports bar then she would just laugh it off. She was hoping not much had changed but she knew that supposedly a lot of things had been going on here while she was gone.
The sound of a car horn drug her out of her reverie. Leaning partway out of the car was Jess Hanson. The one co-worker, other than her boss of course, that she had been talking to. Sadie walked over to her friend, "Thanks again for the ride. I know you're busy today."
"Don't worry about it. It's the least I can do after everything you've done for me. So, how're you doing?" Sadie placed her stuff in the backseat and slid into the passenger seat with a sigh. "As best as can be. But everyone is alright so I need to just get back into my routine. I've missed too much school. My professors have been very generous but I can't push my luck." If she were to be truthful though she was not completely back to being herself. This always happened to her. Anytime someone close to her had a major incident she'd start having more regular panic attacks.
Sadie leaned her head back listening to the music from the radio. Oh, how she missed the one of a kind stations which were an integral part of Sol City. As the car sped by she watched the buildings come in and out of view. As the two neared Sadie's apartment in the Old Harbour, her stomach made a very audible growling. "Sounds like you could use some grub. Would there even be anything good at your apartment right now?"
She sighed, "Doubtful. I'd usually just get what I needed for the day as I never knew if I'd be eating at Footsteps or not. Just drop me off at Starboard. I can walk home from there."
"You sure? I know it's day but you seem kinda out of it. Come to think of it you're a little paler than usual."
"I'm fine. Just hungry and a little tired. Some coffee and a nice meal will be good enough."
"Okay, but if you change your mind just give me a call. Oh, and Tommy said you don't have to come into work tomorrow if you don't feel like it. This next week should be light work." Sadie contemplated the idea but shook her head, "No, I've been gone too long as is. It wouldn't be fair to the rest of y'all to make everyone continue to cover my shifts." With that the car arrived in the lot and Sadie thanked Jess before grabbing her things. With her book bag on her back and her satchel in her hand, she entered the pub and found her a booth furthest from the people in the place. Off the bat, she didn't recognize any of them and there weren't many so hopefully, she'd have some peace and quiet to rest and reenergize. She left her stuff right beside her and pulled her leg up to rest in the seat. Sadie grabbed a notepad from her bag and began doodling waiting for someone to come take her order. She wasn't any good at drawing but it always helped her clear her mind.

Sadie and her family originally lived in New York when Sadie was growing up. Her life from birth to about 6 was fairly normal. She had many friends in Kindergarten, and first grade had started the same way until something happened.
You see Sadie wasn't born a Woulfe. She was adopted into the family at the age of six. She was orphaned when her family was killed during a kidnapping gone wrong. Her father and mother tried to stop two men who were attempting to kidnap Sadie and her younger brother. The parents were killed by the two men, and Sadie and her brother had received serious injuries, but before the kidnappers could getaway, the cops showed up. The men were arrested, and the two children were rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, Sadie's brother died during treatment, and when Sadie was stable weeks later, they moved her to the children's wing. The long process of figuring out what to do with her began. She had no close or distant living relatives, and they were most likely going to put her in the foster program. However, there was a family that had happened to be volunteering at the hospital at the time, and Sadie quickly became attached to the twins of the family. The kids knew that Sadie was probably going to become a foster child, but they couldn't let it happened. So after days of constant begging, their parents decided to undergo the adoption process. She doesn't remember much before the incident but loves her new family all the same.
Sadie was overjoyed with the fact that someone had chosen to take her in. She had two new older brothers, Oliver and Alex; two older sisters, Lindsey and Kiley; and a younger brother, Micky. Her new parents were Nathan and Taylor. Her new family was loving and caring, and she didn't feel left out for one second. They always made sure she felt at home with them. This is only the first chapter of Sadie's story. After finishing her schooling with this wonderfully close family standing behind her, she decided to head out on her own to pursue her love of dancing.
As far as who she is, Sadie is a natural caretaker. It is just who she is. Whenever she sees anyone hurting or in need, she can't help but try to take care of them no matter who they are or what they've done. Although she does at times, neglect to take care of herself and if anyone mentions it she will get upset. She makes friends easily, but she won't abandon her closest friends. Some people on the outside looking in probably think she has gotten over her past and is a perfect example of what someone should hope to be.
This isn't true in the slightest. She still has her issues. As a result of the trauma early in her life, she has developed chronic depression and Depersonalization Disorder. It hasn't been that bad in recent years because she is starting to get better, but she is still very self-conscious.
Chapter One: [not shown] After finishing work that day Sadie received a phone call from home about a family emergency. She went home and is just now arriving back in Sol City.
Tell us about yourself:
*Your age: 22
*What part of the world are you from? USA sorry
*How many years have you been writing/roleplaying: Since I was a kid. Not sure exactly what year I started.
*How often do you have time to post? It usually depends as my schedule is constantly changing but if need be I could do one a day if needed.
*Anything else you want to mention? What do you do for a living? How much do you work a week? What do you enjoy doing besides writing? Put as much as you want. I work at my mom's CPA office, so my hours are flexible depending on when I'm needed. The main thing that got me into writing/roleplaying was my love of acting. When I learned I could do all the stuff on stage on paper/forums I instantly dived in.
"These are the things that make a good story great and good writers even greater."
Very Simple: Are you, as a PLAYER more a solo/small group poster or would you consider yourself a social butterfly open for anything?
Well, I've done all everywhere and in between and enjoy all of it. I like both styles and I have issues with both styles. The only time I don't enjoy large groupings of characters is when myself or someone else seems to be getting ignored. I enjoy small groups but I'm not the best at leading things unless I have more than one character involved or control over some NPCs. Other than that I can struggle in very small groupings if I don't have much to work with. I'd say my ideal set up would be 4 - 5 people to specifically be rping with.
Choose a number from 1-5 telling us where you would rate yourself in the above criteria. ONE being the least interactive and FIVE being the most.
I'd love to give a higher number but I'll have to stick with a 3 as despite the fact I like to be apart of decently sized groups I tend to be very slow at posting. I'm just not very good at thinking creatively very quickly.
👍 Gotcha. I’ll make dancing her special skill and she’ll just be good at da baking. If anyone wants to do a flash mob proposal Sadie’ll be the one to call. She’ll make it fantastic. (She watches a lot of flash mob proposals but then again so do I.)
Edit: Also, just noticed the coding doesn’t look that good on phone. Ugh, I need an aesthetic teacher.
