Justine was excited for Krystyn to teach her about the bow. She had always been interested in archery but never had the opportunity to learn. She supposed Krystyn was right. If the walker made any sort of noise when it was shot, it would attract more and that was the last thing they wanted. She was sure she would get the chance eventually.
She wished Hunter would calm down. Him being so stressed out would affect everyone else and that was another thing they didn't want. Stress lead to tension, tension leads to yelling, yelling leads to attracting walkers and attracting walkers lead to fighting and possibly death. Maybe she could have a talk with him later.
She climbed in the very small backseat of the truck and scooted closer to Buddy and stroked his soft fur. He had started calming down from the shock of seeing the walker and looked at her with innocence in his big brown eyes. She laid her head on his back and tried to tune everything out and sleep for the 20 minutes she could before they got to Hunter's camp. She needed rest.

Justine knew they were probably right. She did need to get her thoughts together and decide what was best to do before she made any rash decisions. Everyone was tired and stressed. maybe they should get back to Hunter's camp and rest for a while.
She heard Buddy's growling and turned around to pet him. "What is it boy? What's wrong?" She whispered. She felt the hair on his back raise and all his muscles tense up. She looked up and saw a single walker wandering around in circles on the side of the road. She hadn't had the fun of killing one yet. Maybe she could take out her frustrations on it. She walked quickly but quietly over to Krystyn who was comforting Hunter and asked her in a low whisper pointing at the walker, "Can I use your bow and arrow to kill that thing? I haven't had any fun yet." She let a small smirk spread across her face to give the impression that she wasn't panicking. She didn't want to freak Hunter out more than he already was. Maybe this kid had anxiety or something. She knew that feeling all too well.
Buddy looked as if he was getting a little scared as the walker got closer. Justine wasn't worried because they weren't making any noise so it would have no idea they were even there.

Savannah was overjoyed. She couldn't believe she had just gotten that door open on her FIRST TRY as a new student! She was stunned for a minute before Ingrid looked back at her and motioned for her to follow. She stepped through the portal and approached the pool. It was shiny and beautiful and she was suddenly tempted to touch it but she guessed that wouldn't be a good idea. Something about this water seemed very powerful and she didn't want to be sucked into another dimension or something.
"What are those books?" Savannah asked, still in shock and out of breath from what had just happened. She suddenly felt drained. Apparently using her divining powers sucked a lot of energy from her. Maybe that would fade when she learned to use her powers more. She sat down on the bench to get her breath back as she waited for an answer from Ingrid.

Savannah caught a glimpse of a small body with matted brown fur and assumed it was a bear of some sorts. Because she was not having much luck being up in this tree, she thought about coming down but she wasn't sure if it would increase her chances or not. She had a feeling that she needed to start prowling the premises in order to find anything. She slowly crawled down the tree and she could feel her claws shredding the bark of the tree on her way down. She loved that feeling. When her pads met the grass of the Jungle Room, she padded over to the door and peeked out cautiously. She saw no one and heard nothing.
I wonder how long we have to find her. . . Savannah thought. Hopefully she had a little longer. She didn't want to be the one who wasted the entire period in a tree and found nothing. She opened her mouth wide so her pallet was exposed to the air and egan padding around the hallway in search of a new scent. She sensed something but she wasn't sure what it was. She decided to follow it, so she continued down the left side of the hallway, tail twitching excitedly.

Justine looked at her phone. 6:30. No wonder it was starting to get dark outside so fast.She wondered if they could make it all the way back to that shopping center and back before it got too late. After all this, she was sure everyone needed sleep. Even Buddy looked tired. She was almost ready to give up looking for her friend. If she didn't find her this time, she was on her own unless she texted her. But by then, who knows? They could be far away by then.

"That sounds good Hunter. I have absolutely no idea where she is though. Her house back the way we came but I don't think either one of you would be willing to go back towards that horde to look for a girl you don't even know. If you guys want, I could go by myself and come back to the camp after I find her or give up looking. I would obviously want to take a weapon with me.
Justine was tempted to go look around the bend of the tree but she was horrified of the noises that were coming from that direction. She really hoped that Buddy wasn't planning on eating that poor girl. . .
