Bio

So, It has been about a month and I have yet to do this - Righto!

I am a 22 year old aspiring writer and academic - not in a pretentious way, I really want to study for the rest of my life. I am curious about most things - Culture, Language, art, food, music, history, science, politics, philosophy, biology, physics. I believe the best way to escape the ever looming threat of solipsism is to interact with things you know you could not have made up on your own - to confound yourself as much as possible by the seemingly impossible. I like reading as well - and I read anything that is not am outright romance - the once thing that does not interest me, and never has. And I am 22 years old! Mother stop bothering me! The only thing romance is good for is when it allows you side quests in RPG's. I tend to spend most of my salary on books, and I have an ever growing fear that when I intend to actually leave my country and travel the world, I will not be able to take my ever growing list of favorites with me. My greatest aspiration, beyond becoming a celebrated academic - is to reside somewhere in west-Europe and be able to attend opera's and concerts and understand what they are singing without subtitles or synopsi - and hopefully die one day in the middle of one of the great arias.

If you wish for me to join, let me know - I don't often peruse and might miss your prompts.

I was in a situation where the other character should have acted, and it just never happened, and I think I just forgot about it... not your fault I am sure. Just dwindled. It happens. It was a great deal of fun while it lasted. I had an entire plan where I wanted to make my own clones - a hybrid race of all the best races within the universe, with all the non force skills like underwater breathing, emotion and hormone senses - etc etc... and then overthrow the ship and the universe... alas... Dr. Kava Marr will dwindle out of existence.

thanks for the effort you put into it nonetheless. It was appreciated. I am starting a similar one with my table top group. Can't wait. @frapet
@pyroman - I don't know what happened, but along the way I think we took a break and I just completely forgot about this. I have been reading what happened and I barely remember what I was doing before. Or what happened since. Sorry for just abandoning the team there... I guess you can imagine that Christopher accidentally deactivated gravity's hold on him and he flew off the planet.

Dr. Malacoda Zatanna

Uptown Central - In the Gotham Law Library. Gotham

Malacoda noted the sudden action, and reached over to his hound, grasping him, and the coat - before tapping his umbrella on the ground.

Uptown Central - Outside In the Gotham Law Library. Gotham

Both he and the beast fell through the ground and onto the pavement furthest away from the building. The moment he looked up he could hear the bomb go off, taking the shock-wave taking out most of the windows in the area. He raised his hand in front of his eyes, but Mephistopheles had already rushed in front of him, taking the brunt of the force. He peered around, the dust and smoke raising into the air, his ears ringing. The area seemed to be evacuated for the most part, with only officials spotted here and there - all seeming to have taken cover in time. Mephistopheles took on his other form and helped Malacoda up, before whimpering as he shrunk back into the form of a small dog statue. With a groan, Malacoda crouched to pick it up, gently stroking it with his thumb as he got up. He placed the figurine in his coat pocket. His eyes turned to the burning building, and he felt his frown forming.

He started walking back to the building, now in rubble - frowning through the smoke. He was now truly out of options. He could not even teleport back home at this point. He felt however, that he should go get that stupid, sandy fucker. If only to berate him.

How much of a moron could he be. Shuffling through the dense heat coming from the burning books Malacoda felt his ire grow. The whole point of this exercise was to save the building, limit damage - try and keep at least one of the terrorist alive so that they could be interrogated. The best option was to remove the bomb. All he needed to do, was to take care of the two men and then the who situation could have been salvaged.

That was why we had a plan A...

He stumbled, reaching out blindly and touching a scorching hot piece of wall. He let out a scream, more so of anger than pain, and hit a piece of rock with his umbrella - roaring again. "Where are you!? You sand addled halfwit! Khnemu!"
@Peridot - charmed, naturally if you wish to join the crew - the doctor will have to insist on a full medical history and a thorough delousing - maybe even a few biomatter samples... for evaluation. beyond that, I am sure you will fit in with the crew without much trouble.
@frapet - have just continued on in the science vessel. I used my own D20 to roll the effectiveness of the doctor, and got a 19... so I decided to make it quick, because I suck at combat scenario's. If that is displeasing, then I can always edit.
Dr. Khava Marr

@frapet @Korkoa

Dr. Marr flinched at the fire, despite himself. Taking a deep 'breath' he could feel the Adrenalin coursing through the veins of their targets. A few other hormones were firing as well, generally a mix of fear, aggression from the one to the left... He waited for a moment, closing his eyes - focusing on the stress of the more experienced one. It was building. As if quickly reaching a peak. Apprehension. Something was coming? he was anticipating - the fire stopped. Rife overheating? As Roka seemingly also noticed this, he forwent his blind firing and turned inwards, shooting down the Trooper. As the trooper went down, the immediate overwhelming shock set into the other, and Marr spun around the corner, throwing the dart at the scientist. He smirked as the other dropped the gun, and raised his hands in fear. The needle punctured his palm and the liquid started seeping into his system. With panic he looked at the syringe, frowning at the yellow colour, looked up at Marr, his eyes widening before he fell to the ground as well.

Marr straightened his robes and looked over at his cohort. "That was fun. I can't sense anyone else on the ship. At least not in the vicinity. Keep those antennae peaked though." He started walking into the area, and pointed to the two doors. "Storage, and Field lab - I will take the latter and see what we can salvage. I suggest you go into the storage rooms and take anything not bolted down. If there are any silver boxes with self-contained cooling units connected to it, be careful with it. The items inside will be the easiest to shift." He started walking over to the lab, crouching down next to the comatose doctor and taking out the syringe from his palm. With a gloved hand, he turned the head, lifting the chin and opening the eye. With a quick jab through the iris he emptied the rest of the yellow liquid straight into the brain. The body shuddered for a moment before becoming still. He stood up, placed the now empty vial back into his breast pocket, and continued on to the lab, punching in the codes he knew rarely changed, and if it did - it changed back to the previous set.
@ShieldsOfWar - we're always looking for characters, our crew is looking a little sparse at the moment, and we can always use more. I am sure our DM won't mind. I suggest you read up on everything and consider where your char will fit in, and then create one and present it as finished. the easiest way to get in is to appear as if you have been there already.
@bluetommy2 - awe how kind is our Egyptian friend. Adorable.
@Korkoa - no problem at all, I am busy applying for a post grad, while also moving between jobs - That I assure you really puts into perspective the limitations of he twenty four hour day.
@frapet - just waiting for my cohort to respond, it would be strange for Marr @Korkoa to lead the assault, when Roka is the more experienced one.
