Seems like each of us has reason to annoy the hell out of everyone else in order to figure out what our characters lived through together and think of each other before we even start the RPG, since they've been in the gang for a while. Can't say I don't like that. Come at me, fellas.
(First figure out who the founding members are. Don't think my character makes sense for that)

Mirror force is my biggest "I hate seeing this card" card

Not because I don't like getting blown the fuck out by it, but because I've seen so many people randomly toss it into their deck with no thought that I hate it. It's up there with bottomless for the "you really don't know what you're doing, huh" points. Only, mirror force is worse because it's the one card everyone remembers from Duel Monsters despite it almost never actually going off.

Also, Go getting blown the fuck out is unintentionally hilarious, but outside that one situation, Vrains really made me sick of seeing mirror force as well.

There's only one deck I put it into in recent memory because it actually suited it for once, and I took it out again literally the second I saw someone sign up with a deck with a mirror force. I didn't even wait to see if they were accepted or not; the fact someone else had the thunk of "huh-hey mirror force" was enough for me to pre-emptively hate my own choices.

@Ammokkx Something of this level be a good starting point? I'm just thinking with less of the same cards because of the whole "cards are hard to come by" plot.

That S/T Lineup looks too streamlined and powerful imo...
Naturias should be easy to find in the Trash tho. Except Beast.

I might swap Night Beam for a cooler S/T removal...
Also Glass Slippers are broken, make me take it out. (But it really fits well in there...)

I can't speak for Duel Links, but Forbidden Lance used to be a great card back when Spells and Traps were more commonly used for disruption rather than play kickstarting. Since the game now relies much more on monster effects, though, it stopped having a niche and doesn't see much play. The forbidden series in general actually have some really powerful and good effects, but the game in its current state does not allow for those effects to see much use.

Indeed, I remember the days of Forbidden Lance and Chalice. Though I'd partly be using them for different reasons, I've always enjoyed splashing them in decks back in the day when Trap Cards were still relevant even if they couldn't be used from the hand or were counter traps.

Kind of want to something based on rebellion. Still not sure what prime monster to have, but I know I want to have the forbidden cards (forbidden chalice, forbidden lance, etc, etc)

Well, my plan isn't really about doing anything unusual with the character's ethnicity, personality or a gimmick of sort. It's just that some of what her intentions are will have to be weaved into the actual story a little bit, but I'd rather not go into detail too much (can add me on discord if you want to vanquish my hopes and dreams on the spot), because it'll spoil the whole thing.
