I'm Aleksandra, and I'm a third-year university student. I've been roleplaying on and off for the past six years. I enjoy anything fantasy, mystery and slice-of-life. I tend to stick to group roleplays unless I know a person well (some bad experiences soured 1x1 for me). Happy to do romance, so long as the other user is 18+. As for gore, I'm fine with it.
I might be busy due to writing and programming my dissertation project, but I will try to be active in the evenings and weekends. I'm trying to get back into roleplaying after a three-year absence, and as such, I'm trying to stick to one or two RPs at a time so as to not overwhelm myself again.
English is not my first language, but I have lived in England for eleven years and seem to get by fine, so take that as you will
She giggled."I'm not gonna bore you with 26 reasons why." she responded with a smile. Skyler had a feeling everyone had a similar reason to come here. Their parents thought that they needed to be trained because 'they didn't behave just like them'. She found this ridiculous. They were still kids and they should be enjoying their own life, not cloning their parent's one.
The brunette eyed Jonathan once again after hearing his name. "Well, I find it hard to believe that Mrs Belle and Mr Beast sent you here" she stated in response. Skyler heard a lot about the tale of the Beuty and the Beast. How couldn't she? They were extremely popular."But yeah. Punzie and Eugine sent their daughter to a prison-like school just because 'she couldn't control herself'".
Skye stood on Platform 9¾, holding her suitcase and her cat's cage in her hands. She still couldn't believe it wasn't a dream and she slightly wanted to back out. However, she couldn't go back now. Her mother and brother left 3 minutes ago, hoping that she would take care of herself. Noticing that the train was making its final preparations for departure, she quickly strolled in looking for a space to sit.
After a while, she found an empty compartment.Leaving the door open, Skye sat down and took out her notebook, proceeding to work on a sonnet she started a few days ago. She also opened Amelie's cage, letting her kitten stretch on the seat next to her. Luckily Amelie was well behaved and she wouldn't leave the compartment without her owner.
Name:Skye Anna Sanders Date of Birth:27th January 1999 Appearance: Height:4ft 7in Weight:87 pounds Eyes:Brown Hair:Long and brown Skin Tone:Pale Blood Status:She is a half-blood. Skye's mother was a muggle, whereas her father was a wizard. Personality: Skye is an extrovert who isn't afraid to protect those who she cares about. She's usually calm but she's also easily annoyed. She loves studying and learning about new things, although she favors studying astronomy and mythology. She also loves to sketch and photograph things.Additionally Skye also adores to write. One fifth of her belongings are her stories, poems or story drafts/prompts. Wand:Black Walnut wood with a dragon heartstring core, 11 ¾" and hard flexibility
Less common than the standard walnut wand, that of black walnut seeks a master of good instincts and powerful insight. Black walnut is a very handsome wood, but not the easiest to master. It has one pronounced quirk, which is that it is abnormally attuned to inner conflict, and loses power dramatically if its possessor practises any form of self-deception. If the witch or wizard is unable or unwilling to be honest with themselves or others, the wand often fails to perform adequately and must be matched with a new owner if it is to regain its former prowess. Paired with a sincere, self-aware owner, however, it becomes one of the most loyal and impressive wands of all, with a particular flair in all kinds of charmwork.
As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner. The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.
House:Ravenclaw Pet: A Russian Blue kitten named Amelie.
Class Rankings(Core):
Top: Transfiguration and Charms
Middle: Potions and DADA
Bottom: Flying and Herbology
History: Skye was raised in muggle community without her father due to him divorcing her mother. She rarely sees him, mainly because he refuses to tell her mother where he lives.
Before her father divorced her mother, he taught her about stars and such, sparking Skye's love for astronomy and science. She was the youngest child, being born 5 years after her older brother which was a squib. They got along quite well and enjoyed spending time together.
When she got her acceptance letter, she was ecstatic. It took her and her mother a while to find the Diagon Alley (mainly because her father didn't tell Skye much about her magical origins), but once they found it they bought everything needed and more(Amelie, additional books etc.).
Before she came to Hogwarts, she wanted to become an writer or an photographer.
Put her in Ravenclaw
Changed Astronomy and History of Magic(Since they aren't required) to Tranfiguration and Charms
@Polaris North Skyler snorted as she shoved her notebook and her pencil into her bag. "There are many reasons why. Would you like them in a chronological or in alphabetical order?" She asked with a smirk. The girl eyed the boy carefully, curious to find out who he was. In the carriage, she wasn't listening to anyone's conversations. It was none of her business. "I'm Skyler Fitzherbert. And you are?".
"Well then, first years. Please exit the carriage calmly. Once everyone's outside, I'll check the attendance and then we will head to the school's theatre for the assembly. You may leave your bags and suitcases in here. They'll be delivered to your dorms"
Amy White-Charming and May White-Charming
With a huge smile, May shoved the juice box between her's and Amy's seats. She tightly grabbed her sister and dragged her outside as she took out her phone. But once she was outside her smile faltered. She stared at her phone in shock. She thought they were joking about the lack of Wi-Fi. Meanwhile, Amy was clutching her book close to her chest trying to process what just happened.
Skyler Fitzherbert
The brunette rolled her eyes as she noted something in her notepad before abandoning the carriage. Instead of leaving her kit bag inside, she flung it onto her shoulder. The barefoot girl then proceeded to lean against the marble gate. Skyler carried on writing. She found this procedure boring. Why can't they check who's here once everyone was in their class?
