Bio

Hello! :)

I'm Aleksandra, and I'm a third-year university student. I've been roleplaying on and off for the past six years. I enjoy anything fantasy, mystery and slice-of-life. I tend to stick to group roleplays unless I know a person well (some bad experiences soured 1x1 for me). Happy to do romance, so long as the other user is 18+. As for gore, I'm fine with it.

I might be busy due to writing and programming my dissertation project, but I will try to be active in the evenings and weekends. I'm trying to get back into roleplaying after a three-year absence, and as such, I'm trying to stick to one or two RPs at a time so as to not overwhelm myself again.

English is not my first language, but I have lived in England for eleven years and seem to get by fine, so take that as you will

My character sheets, roleplay plots and unfinished ideas: Warning, most of this is admittedly cringe. Working on fixing that

Current RPs:
-> None at the moment

Current Interest Checks:
-> Pirates of Lreya

'' I'm sure I will be able to get some. The other supplies are rather easy to find'' Marcus said as he began to descent off the ship. He had acquired a map of the city a couple of months ago and had a general idea of where he could get everything, with a couple exceptions. The bandages could probably be found at the apothecary from where he was planning to get some herbs. Pulling the ribbon out of his hair, he glanced up at Hope. '' Would you prefer to stay on the ship or go join the rest of the crew? It would be useful to get another pair of eyes on those children''

'' I suppose it's nice to take a break from the ship once in a while.'' said Anya as she approached a booth selling ale. Reaching into her pouch, she pulled out a couple of gold coins and paid for two pints. While she waited for the bartender to fill up the tankards, she glanced around the area. The crowd seemed to consist of both the poor and the wealthy. The nymph scrunched up her nose- if the nobles were here, then this celebration had something to do with them. She hastily grabbed the tankards and held one out to Blake:
'' What do ye think this celebration is for? Seems rather extravagant for a bunch of nobodies''

'' That's certainly thoughtful of you. Thank you'' Anya said examining the thread. It seemed to be made out of multiple strands, making it good for heavy fabrics. She could be able to use it to fix up her leather bag that was on the brink of falling apart.

'' As for the coat, unless ye don't mind bright yellow or pale blue patches, I would recommend gettin' a new one. It's in a horrible condition and if I were in your boots, I wouldn't be seen dead in them.'' Anya said as she began wrapping her new acquisitions in a larger piece of fabric that looked like an old pillowcase. As soon as she emerged from the alleyway, she marvelled at the sights of the town square. It's been quite a while since she saw quite a large crowd that wasn't trying to kill each other.

'' Blake, do you wanna get a drink? I'm sure Marcus won't mind too much''

Anya's eyes eventually adjusted to the darkness, allowing her to walk more confidently. Checking each door and window for any sort of opening, she was soon able to acquire various small treasures, including needles, scraps of old fabric, a book on rare herbs and their uses as well a rusted, though not unusable, astrolabe. The astrolabe was old and some parts would need replacing in the future but it was the best Anya would get for the time being. Even having saved up an enormous amount of coin she wouldn't be able to afford a brand new one and she didn't want to bother Marcus by asking him to buy it with the other supplies.

She was nearing the end of the alley when she heard Blake walk up to her. Still somewhat paranoid from the darkness she felt her palms liquify however she managed to compose herself before she became fully liquid.
'' Ye should really stop sneakin' up on people. One day ye will give someone a heart attack'' Anya said with a small pout. '' Thanks for asking, but I have already collected everythin' I need. By the looks of it, people can't really afford much here.''
@Squirrel98@Blushing Donkey Both of them are accepted.

'' It's not really a break if I have to find supplies for the crew, is it?'' he sighed, not looking up from the list. Honestly, he didn't know why the crew requested so much unnecessary things. How many silver spoons did they actually need? Although, the quarter of his purchases ended up overboard possibly explaining the need for constant restocking. At this point, he was considering banning any objects other than weapons on the main deck.

Marcus unceremoniously shoved the paper inside of his cloak pocket before continuing: '' Do you need to stock up on any medical supplies? I wouldn't want you to waste too much energy in case of a crisis.''

Anya

Anya chuckled, not unkindly. ''Says the running off!'' She yelled out after Blake, before adjusting her capelet and heading down a dimly lit alleyway. Despite the captain's orders to stay together, Anya wished to be alone to stay more inconspicuous. Thievery was a delicate thing and she didn't want to bring any unnecessary attention to herself nor her sudden appearance in the small town. While being alone in the darkish alleyway filled her with dread, she kept telling herself that as soon as she gets what she needs, she will be able to go back into the light.

Jane

Jane entered the city square, humming a song she heard the princess play not too long ago. The festival seemed to work- it attracted attention and she was sure she saw people from the other parts of the country wandering about. With piracy on the all-time high, the King needed something to distract the commonfolk with. The event took her and the rest of the servants weeks to prepare, temporarily taking her mind off her castle duties.

Speaking of Jane's duties, she was told to look-out for anything suspicious during the festival. It seemed important so she agreed. With luck, she should be able to catch a thief or a violent individual and the Queen would be too busy punishing them to notice one of her pearl necklaces missing. Such was the life of a servant- making sure that the royalty didn't have to worry about anything.
