Bio

Hello! :)

I'm Aleksandra, and I'm a third-year university student. I've been roleplaying on and off for the past six years. I enjoy anything fantasy, mystery and slice-of-life. I tend to stick to group roleplays unless I know a person well (some bad experiences soured 1x1 for me). Happy to do romance, so long as the other user is 18+. As for gore, I'm fine with it.

I might be busy due to writing and programming my dissertation project, but I will try to be active in the evenings and weekends. I'm trying to get back into roleplaying after a three-year absence, and as such, I'm trying to stick to one or two RPs at a time so as to not overwhelm myself again.

English is not my first language, but I have lived in England for eleven years and seem to get by fine, so take that as you will

My character sheets, roleplay plots and unfinished ideas: Warning, most of this is admittedly cringe. Working on fixing that

Current RPs:
-> None at the moment

Current Interest Checks:
-> Pirates of Lreya

The small village was illuminated by countless lanterns and lamps lining the pathways. An event of some kind was taking place- men and women alike gathered in the city square dancing and drinking themselves into oblivion. Music could be heard everywhere and anywhere. Children ran in between alleyways, laughing, without any fear of getting lost.

Not the same could be said about the houses. They were devoid of life and each one hid secrets in the dark. Many local businesses were locked, some were not. Thankfully, the citizens had nothing to worry about- after all the city watch was scattered all around the village.

So no one batted an eye when an unknown ship arrived at the dock.

Marcus

Marcus leaned over the edge of the ship, examining the small dock. It was mostly deserted, except a single guard and a pair of drunks stumbling their way across the boardwalk. This was just a short stop to restock on supplies and possibly steal some gold. He had one of the cabin boys prepare a list of the missing resources. Usually, he would have the quartermaster prepare it, but he wasn't around anymore and Marcus was not in a hurry to replace him just yet.
'' This is yer final chance t' tell me if ye wants anythin' specific. If ye don't, you're payin' with yer own coin.'' sighed Marcus, reviewing the list for the hundredth time.

He knew that the guard would probably leave them alone if they pretended to be traders although they would have to get rid of him in case he requested to look over their goods. After a moment of hesitation he ordered:

'' Try t' stick together. If anyone asks, tell 'em we're traders from England. Only iniate violence as a last resort- 'tis th' last time we're goin' t' be on land fer th' next couple of weeks. Th' cabin lads are t' stay on board. We shall leave as soon as th' sun starts t' rise.''

Anya

Anya was off the ship as soon as the captain finished speaking. Her body seemed to convulse with excitement as her eyes darted from house to house. While the town wasn't as wealthy as other towns, she has heard it had lots of small shops filled with various handmade trinkets that probably no one would miss if they went missing. Her astrolabe was damaged in the last battle the crew had and she was hoping that she could 'borrow' a replacement. Besides, it was quite a while since Anya had the opportunity to observe the new trends amongst the common folk and she's been itching to sew something with silk which she acquired a couple of months ago.

The docks of a small trading kingdom in Spain

.
The water splashed against your feet as you raced towards the wooden maiden, each step faster than the one before.

Pirates were considered to be the lowest of the low. They were known by many titles: tyrants of the seven seas, traitors of the crown or the devils of the ocean. Anyone who had integrity would not hesitate to turn a pirate in and those who didn't care much for law could be easily tempted by the bounty on the seaman's head. Either way, once a pirate was captured, they would certainly get hanged. The social class, species or gender didn't matter. You chose the pirate's life and that was all the authorities needed to know.

Due to strict laws and constantly improving royal navy, pirates often died young or were captured before they could achieve something great. Not sure if it was due to luck, fate or talent, you and your crew survived for more than 12 years- ever since you were young children.
The screams of those you loved blended with the raging waves. The ship was right in front of you now

Only a few crew members remember what had happened that night. Everyone else was merely a child, following their parents' instructions to getaway. Some survived due to someone else's sacrifice, some were just lucky. Those who didn't get on the ship died and the children had nowhere to return. No food, no shelter and no education- they could only turn to crime. That fateful night, the survivors of the most devastating attack recorded in history, swore to become the most infamous pirate crew Europe has ever seen. Their heritage and past were quickly forgotten as they fought to gain control of the sea. No one spoke of the village again until not one person could recall its name.

You climbed aboard only to find others just like you. An eternity passed while a couple more people boarded the ship. You didn't know how old they were. You didn't want to know. The ship finally set sail

A dozen years passed and your crew was becoming more infamous each day. After a debate, you've decided to call yourselves'The Forsaken Raiders' You were cunning, sly, powerful and dangerous- the biggest threat any kingdom could imagine. Each crew member was unique, both biologically and psychologically, but you all had the same roots. You were a family and the ship was your home. No one else dared to enter your group of cut-throats.

So it was quite shocking when a King of a small kingdom requested your assistance in retrieving something from an eerily familiar ghost-town.

@Sanity43217 Yes there is. The characters can still be human, but they could also be an elf, mermaid etc.

Hello everyone. I would like to remake my RP 'The Deep Blue Sea' that I made around 2 years ago. It's about a group of pirates that has to return to a place they have been born in. They have a little-to-none recollection about it as it disappeared off the maps after a mysterious attack.
There are two main groups of characters: the pirate crew and the King's group. The King will join the pirates to make sure they will do their job. This RP will take place somtime in late middle ages/early renaissance.
