Bio

Hello! :)

I'm Aleksandra, and I'm a third-year university student. I've been roleplaying on and off for the past six years. I enjoy anything fantasy, mystery and slice-of-life. I tend to stick to group roleplays unless I know a person well (some bad experiences soured 1x1 for me). Happy to do romance, so long as the other user is 18+. As for gore, I'm fine with it.

I might be busy due to writing and programming my dissertation project, but I will try to be active in the evenings and weekends. I'm trying to get back into roleplaying after a three-year absence, and as such, I'm trying to stick to one or two RPs at a time so as to not overwhelm myself again.

English is not my first language, but I have lived in England for eleven years and seem to get by fine, so take that as you will

My character sheets, roleplay plots and unfinished ideas: Warning, most of this is admittedly cringe. Working on fixing that

Current RPs:
-> None at the moment

Current Interest Checks:
-> Pirates of Lreya

Marcus

After looking through a couple of windows, Marcus finally decided on a store which seemed to have the most of the required food supplies. He tried turning the doorknob multiple times to no avail. Leaning down to examine the lock, he enquired '' You wouldn't happen to have a lockpick on you, would you Hope?''

Anya

@Blade17
Anya weaved in between the sea of people, occasionally glancing back to see if Blake was following. As the crowd thickened she clutched her bag closer to her body- ironically she didn't want her stolen goods to be taken from her. Regretfully she left her compass on board, resulting in her having to turn back a couple of times once reaching a dead end. If she was on the ship, she could probably find her way using the stars but they were of no use on land. Eventually, she resolved herself to ask one of the townspeople for directions, however, due to their intoxication, they weren't of much help.

In resignation, Anya spoke ''It's a lost cause. Let's just start head back to the square. I can always look for it once we are done with the captain's mission''

Jane

@Squirrel98
'' Look where you're going next time then! If you think I'm uptight that means you haven't met the aristocrats from the north'' grumbled Jane. To this day she could remember how they did everything in their power to make her life a living hell and she couldn't do anything in retaliation as she didn't want to lose her job. Taking a moment to compose herself, Jane straightened up her back, before speaking again

'' The tailor on Aylesbury Glebe offers laundry services on the side. He's quite cheap but will probably open up his shop in the afternoon. Both he and the baker passed out from consuming too much alcohol not too long ago''
Anya

@Blade17
'' You know I don't dance. It's just not my thing'' she said shaking her head. Besides if she agreed she wouldn't be able to keep an eye on her loot. She craned her neck to see over the crowd, seemingly trying to seek something out above the crowd. '' I saw that there was a library in this city when I borrowed Marcus's maps. Apparently it's mostly historical records but I hoped I could find something... more specific I suppose''. Taking a deep breath she spoke again ''Would you mind if we went there? It's not that far away''. Despite trusting Blake, Anya didn't want to tell him what she was looking for. It wasn't that important in the grand scheme of things but she felt like it could be useful, for her at least.
Anya

@Blade17
'' I'm quite sure that they can see that I'm sober right now. If I were to start stumbling out of nowhere, they might suspect that I'm trying to hide something'' she said while gesturing at her bag of stolen goods. ''We're innocent until proven guilty and they seem to be mostly paying attention to the drunks''. Anya felt like Blake was being too paranoid. If anything were to happen, it would've already- after all they were loitering around a slightly less crowded area and not really trying to hide. She swung the bag over her shoulder and stated ''As I said, we'll be fine. They can't risk the citizens going into a panic and if they try to do something, the rest of our crew would be able to help out''.
Anya

@Blade17
''No, I'm not drunk! I have consumed alcohol since I was a babe so I know how to handle it'' Anya said finishing off her drink. Sneakily placing the tankard into her bag, she continued '' Besides I wasn't really being captured- I was just curious about that building and those men just happened to be there. I know how to fight, I could've taken them on''. Gently tapping on her brass knuckles, she grinned. While it was hard to kill anyone with them, they could cause a lot of damage allowing her to make an escape or take out a more dangerous weapon. Plus she could always turn herself into water in order to trip someone- while uncomfortable, it was effective. '' I wonder where everyone else went. If Marcus finds out, he's going to be enraged''

'' We'll need to get some food. There should be a butcher's store not too far from here. On the way, we can step in the other stores to check if they have any fruit, beans or biscuits, if not we will have to start searching the houses. The animals should be able to survive off scraps once we ran out of feed for quite a while, so we're not getting anything for them'' Marcus rambled on, not sparing a glance at the celebration. Personally, he did not enjoy such events but at least they were distracting enough to allow the crew to do their business without any problems. Moving slightly towards the wall of buildings lining the street, Marcus began to look into the store windows trying to figure out what they sold.

Anya

@Blade17
'' Don't be such a coward Blake'' laughed Anya, putting her tankard down on a nearby table '' Afterall aren't we just British traders? Just a group of law-abiding businessmen''. The girl glanced around, compering the peasants to the guards. There had to be a logical explanation for how they were dressed. Maybe it was so the common-folk could actually relax without the fear of getting arrested? Besides, it's not like any of them was being suspected of any wrongdoing at the moment, so she saw no reason to leave. They rarely got to spend time in a town and she wanted to make most of it.
'' We'll be fine!'' The nymph claimed as she leaned against the table.

Jane

@Squirrel98
Jane cackled as she attempted to fix-up her hair ''I'm quite sure they will believe me over you, so unless you want to spend the night in the stocks, answer my question. Having played this game multiple times, she knew that she just had to push a little further to make someone try to attack her. Then she could make a scene and get away with her crime. Glancing at the dirty scarf and shook her head. Feeling a small shred of pity, she muttered '' You'll need water and ashwood for that. You're just going to make it worse if you try cleaning it with your hands.''
Anya

@Blade17

Anya rolled her eyes. Of course everything fun had to be ruined by the nobility and their sense of superiority. She took two large gulps of her drink before grumbling '' What did ye expect? The dukes and their lasses must be protected from the common folk! They can't risk being around them too long or surely they will lose their status. Oh, the tragedy''. Wiping off an imaginary tear she took another sip of her drink. Glancing over at the wealthy group once again she smirked, soon coming up with an idea.

'' Wouldn't it be funny Blake if I, in my 'drunken state' tripped and spilt some of my drink on that lady's dress. Such a shame the dress is made out of silk, the stains would never come out''
Jane

@Squirrel98

Jane scanned the crowd taking everything in. So far nothing seemed out of place and Jane was growing more agitated with every passing minute. Even the rowdiest drunks seemed somewhat well-behaved and she couldn't blame anything on them. The pearls in her apron seemed as heavy as steel as she tried to nitpick on even the smallest of offences. As Jane ventured into the crowd, she felt something push her to the ground.

As soon as she realised what happened, Jane scoffed:'' I certainly hope that you are intoxicated. Otherwise, I won't hesitate to report you to the guard for disruption of peace''. Ignoring the man's hand she stood up and began to shake off the dirt from her dress, not noticing that the contents of her apron spilt out onto the street. After a few seconds, she gave up deciding to wash it once she returned to her sleeping quarters. Taking another look at the man, Jane spoke coldly '' I haven't seen you in these parts before. What brings you here?''.

Marcus

@Squirrel98

Marcus stopped to consider his options. Despite the crew's tendency to get in trouble, it was less likely to happen when they were grouped together. Since he has ordered them to do so, they were unlikely to start fights with the civilians. As for the supply run, he preferred to work alone but the list was quite long this time around. It would be practical to have another pair of hands to help carry everything. With his mind made up, Marcus answered: '' Follow me, you can carry some of the supplies.''.

Turning on his heel, he ventured into the city without waiting for Hope to follow.
@Squirrel98 I thought you were talking about the previous post. Sorry again :)
