I'm fairly certain that Hungary enjoyed a measure of autonomy within the Austrian Empire at the time, couldn't he simply attempt to play the autonomous government of Hungary within the Empire and slowly make his attempt to break free? Although if there is going to be an Austrian player it could possibly turn them away.

On another note I am wonder if certain world events will take place that happened historically. For instance, the Mexican War of Independence ends later in 1821 and was pretty much over by this time. Will that situation be resolved along with Peru/Brazil, etc?

So is this still happening anytime soon? Ever? Are factions still up for grabs? OOC up?

Could we start this RP with a broad Spanish Civil War type communist/anarchist front, and then have schisms develop, opening up the possibility of another left faction in America? In reality, there would have most likely been a split between the Leninist/RSDLP inspired factions in the American radical left, and between the classical socialists/orthodox Marxists/anarcho-syndicalists. If the first is taken, could I take the second if and when such a schism develops?

Said he might do it sometime in the future, but is behind in other RPs right now. I was hoping for it to pull through as well always loved the Kaiserreich world.

What of Japan in this whole scenario? I know that in Kaiserreich the mod itself things weren't incredibly different for them, but it seems you're putting your own spin on things. Is it possible to get a run down on their situation? I'm very much interested in taking Japan over anything else that has been mentioned.

Kaiserreich is basically after WW1 if the Germans had won. It is a mod for the game Darkest Hour, if you google it you'll see what it is all about.

Though I think it might be a good idea to try an earlier start date as well even if we don't go for Kaiserreich. For instance 1836 or something along those lines still leaves a lot of options open for any nation in particular to rise to power. Colonial stuff would just have to be managed carefully so everyone doesn't go crazy over Africa.

It has probably been fairly apparently recently, but I have been starting to lose interest in this for a while now due to multiple reasons. I switched around a little bit and haven't been playing France from the start, that and after the site had been down and we had to start back up everything was just a mess to me personally. I personally would love to have a fresh start in a Kaiserreich WiR, that sounds like the greatest thing we could possibly do. Though I am a massive fanboy of the mod, so my opinion might be a tad bit biased.

Several years ago the great powers of Europe gathered in Berlin to stabilize the volatile region that is the Balkans, an effort in which they succeeded by producing the Treaty of Berlin. This treaty succeeded in years of peace for the Balkans with the exception of a brief war between the Kingdom of Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire, in which the rest of the Balkans denied to join Bulgaria in this war, instead choosing to maintain the peace that had been accomplished. Now the Austro-Hungarian Empire seeks to expand their influence in the region by bullying the sovereign Kingdom of Serbia to submit to their will. As the Russian Empire valiantly jumped to the aid of their Slavic brothers, the German Empire has sought fit to declare war under the pretense of halting Russian dominance over Europe. We must now continue to stand firm alongside our Russian allies in preventing the Austro-Hungarian Empire and their German allies from further destabilizing the Balkans once more. Although I fear there will only be further bloodshed before this war is brought to an end, we must press on until we are free of these acts of aggression.
