@Zeroth I also have not played Skyward Sword, though I always kinda got the feeling that Hylia was a lesser God, and that Din, Farore and Nayru created the world and then left? OoT definitely put them in the Creation Myth, which usually means they're the big fish.

Also, I'm pretty sure Hyrulian is the nationality, Hylian the elf species. Ordonians are probably a race of Hylians, but I could be wrong.

I'm going to go look at the wiki, people have thought about this before, for sure.

Edit: ok, so Wiki says that Hylia was entrusted with the Triforce after the Golden Goddesses left, and that after she gave up her godhood to use the Triforce, her soul continually reincarnates as Princess Zelda. Also she made the Master Sword.

Also, Ordonian is a nationality, as Ordon apparently isn't part of Hyrule?
@vietmyke Roa is set up to be on the Defensive side of things, but that doesn't mean she needs the primary healer role. She could probably still be a Red-Mage style caster. Whatever she is, solo-heals can be dangerous business, because if the healer is KO'd how can they heal themselves, let alone anyone else?

On the flip side, if you had an original idea for Phana, but felt the need to fill the healer role, feel free to switch. I can do either.

@Zeroth

No no, I mean like conjuring a ball of light like a Wizard, not sealing Gannon in a can for the fifteenth time. I should have clarified that.

as for Hylia vs the Three Goddesses, Product and I talked about that while I was working out Roa's CS. It seemed like both were benevolent enough for both Hylia and the Three to coexist in the same religion.

Also, "Hylianism" seems way too attached to the Hylian race, and would probably exclude someone like Roa.
Roa

Castle Town, A Secret Under the Well

Roa had sheepishly followed the rest of what were clearly Queen Zelda's rescuers. She was glad Telma hadn't responded to her putting her fin in her mouth, mistaking the rotund Goron out of every one assembled for Telma. There were admittedly more important concerns at the moment, like climbing down a wet rope into a pitch-dark well. She was the second-to-last down the rope, and she couldn't help but nervously wave at the Goron. Was he really going to jump down the well?

As she reached the bottom of the rope, Roa winced. The air in the tunnel wasn't as cold as the rain above, but it reeked of mildew and standing water, and she could hardly keep herself from coughing in response. She was almost tempted to attempt to swim in the shallow water, but thought it best to avoid waters filled with whatever the people above leave on their streets. For a moment her demeanor slipped, "I almost miss the rain. This place is... horrible." Roa smiled apologetically to the rest of the group. "Sorry." No one had even been listening. She felt like a fool, being concerned with appearances now, of all times.

Being lead through the dark was unsettling to say the least. Outside the heated glow of the Knight's sword was a mix of dimly reflected light, or pitch-black. In her home, such dark was inhabited by all manor of dangerous beasts. Eels came to mind, and she wished they didn't. She was in a foreign land, and there would assuredly be no eels in a place like this. Regardless, she kept ready to use her magic, should something lash out.

While not as terrifying as a giant Zora-eating Eel, a swordsman standing over a slumped-over guard wasn't much better. Her duty was clear to her, and she would not falter in the face of danger. Her voice steady, though not as commanding as she would hope, Roa spoke. "If what you say is true, step back and keep your hands where they can be seen. Know that if you raise a hand against me, you do so to a Priestess of the Goddesses." As she passed the Knight wielding her flaming sword, her voice dropped to a whisper. "If I can get to the guardsman, I may be able to save him. Just keep the swordsman back. Please."
Previous post fix'd, I'll catch up and see about posting again.

also, woo bursts of activity!

Edit, because I always think of something more I want to say or ask: How common is Light magic among the casters of Hyrule?

Edit 2: Anyone know what the primary religion of Hyrule would even be called?
@Vertigo

I was probably paying too much attention to the stuff going on in the well, the problems of joining late I guess. I should probably edit that, huh?
I feel like it's too late to ask, but I might as well: does Telma's Bar only have a front entrance? I'd think it'd be a bad idea for a secret-entrance to be hidden in the middle of a street.
Guess Nadija missing her chance to land on Drifter makes the runner-up most interesting option having the rest of the party spot her looking down the well.
@Zeroth

After Vert's next post, right?
@Crimmy

I already have Alex watching the parade in the city though. If he can catch both at once, he will, but I've already established his plan to watch the parade.
@Crimmy

Is she sword-dancing through the street? how would she even have room?
