I much preferred this place when it was just me here. It was far quieter. Michael thought to himself as he watched all of the other members of the team in the Kitchen. So far he had remained silent to gather what information he could on his future teammates, and so far he had learned little beside what the files the League already had on them.

In the kitchen when he arrived was their Angelic companion going under the alias of Guardian Angel. Now, what'd the file say again? He thought about the files he had 'borrowed' as he took another bite of the chicken and continued to watch the group. Right, sponsored by Zatanna, so she's gotta be using some kind of magic. She appears to be the oldest looking out of us, but that's probably an effect of whatever causes her to take that form. A rune, or an amulet maybe? If that's the case then Guardian Angel may be a separate entity similar to Doctor Fate, so then we haven't met the real... He swallowed the bite in his mouth as he recalled the name on the file. Sarah Donner! That's it! We haven't met the real Sarah Donner yet. Understandable, it can be a rather intimidating meeting new people for the first time.

He took another bite of the chicken as he moved on to the next member that had been present. Scourge. James Natchgale, using the alias Scourge. Sponsored by Red Tornado. Been living as a firefighter before Red Tornado brought him here if I recall the file correctly. Used his powers to help put out fires and save people's lives. Already use to being a hero, now he can put super in the front of it. Although he does seem to already be butting head with Kid Rogue, already.

He looked from Scourge to Kid Rogue. Dominic Miller. Formerly Kid Kold, now Kid Rogue. Sponsored by the Flash after being apprehended. He use to travel with Captain Cold and the other Rogues in Central City. It'll be interesting to have a hero that can think like a villain on the team.

He took one of the rolls and tore it in half, soaking it in some of the sauce on his plate before popping it onto his mouth. Who else is there, He looked at the last two that had been in the room when he arrived. Time Bomb and Shock. Raymond Tyler. Goes by Time Bomb and sponsored by Blue Beetle. Son of Rick Tyler and grandson of Rex Tyler. Former police officers of the Appleton City Police. Impressive records each, thanks to Miraclo, although the League's records are a bit scarce on that subject beside it's effects. It seems that once the family moved to Metropolis however Ray did a short stint crime fighting in the style of Batman. He looked the hero's outfit up and down as he soaked the remaining half of the roll in the sauce and popping it into his mouth. It would see that some things stuck even after he was given the formula to develop his own Miraclo. I certainly hope the side effects aren't to harsh on the kid.

He looked from Time Bomb to Shock as she got up from the table and began to make her way outside as a few newcomers made their way into the kitchen. Shock. Real name, Veronica Hawkins. Sponsored by Static. Since the two share a similar power set they must be family. Cousins? No, brother and sister is far more likely. She probably doesn't enjoy living in her brother's shadow. No doubt that is an attempt to let her discover herself as a hero and not just be Static's little sister. It'll be interesting to see how she develops as a hero, He looked down at the empty plate in front of him. As well as a chef.

He turned his attention to the three newcomers to the kitchen. Photon, Cassandra, and Starbolt. Photon. Real name Lin Sian. He's had it tougher than most of us here living in Gotham. Another villain turned hero. He was worked with Dr. Light, but after the League caught him he struck out on his own. That was until Raven caught him. Good thing she game him a second chance.

He turned his attention to the last two to enter into the kitchen. There wasn't much in the files for Cassandra and Starbolt apart from their names, Kendra Martins and L'Oriana. Apparently Kendra wasn't born with her power, but acquired them later on in her life. She did a short stint as a vigilante under the name Foresight, she later contacted the league herself and was sent to Wonder Woman. Since that time she's been training with the Amazons on Paradise Island. He turned his attention the Tamaranean as she greeted the others in the room. She was sponsored by Starfire, that makes sense since they're both Tamaraneans. I suspect that they have the same training and abilities, so she'll be a great asset to have on the team.

He gave one final look over each of the members present as he picked up his plate and walked towards the sink. Each of members present has a diverse skill and power set making the group capable to take on almost anything that is thrown at us. A grin spread across his face as he set his plate in the sink. I can't wait to see how everyone will act as a team in the field though.
A loud BOOM coming from the lower levels jarred him from his musing. "Son of a--" He stopped himself and turned from the sink. "Well, it would seem that there's an even better party going on downstairs." He began making his way to one of the exits that would lead him back down to the War Room. "If you'll all excuse me now, there are far better things going on."
That's completely alright, I understand. I was just making sure this was still going on, as I have become quite invested in my iteration of your character so far.

Ummm...as for where to go from here, if I'm remembering the fanfic you wrote, Derae passes out and Xander takes her to Castle Hyrule where she awakens to a maid, I think. Besides just a few more BS posts before we leave the camp we can jump back to that storyline and she could pass out once they start to leave and have Xander ride ahead with her to the Castle. After that you can wake up like in the fanfic, just something I thought up right now.
@HylianRose So... *Looks around* Are we still doing this? If not... *Pulls out 3DS and begins to play a game* I'll just be over here.
Just moving this back up a few pages.
"Oooooooooooooooooooh!" Mason turned to Atticus as the Tower's Shipwright, Amanda Holliday, greeted those gathered in the room. "We get a new ship! Do you think I could get a chance to fly this one?"

Atticus chuckled as he and Mason fell in behind Holliday and the other Guardians as they left the Hall of Council and made their way through the hallways towards the shipyard where their newly acquired ship awaited them. "You'll have to take that up with the others so I'm not making any promises that you can fly it." He could see Mason out of the corner of his eye slowly inching closer and closer to his face as he spoke.

"But If they all say yes, then can I fly it?" Mason was only a few inches away from his face now as they turned at an intersection of hallways, the entire time Holliday was describing the ship and all of the features that would be included in it, but Atticus's attention was focused on Mason as the Ghost continued to inch closer to the side of his face.

"Well," Before the Ghost could reach the side of his face he turned to look at Mason which stopped the Ghost dead in it's tracks as they stared at one another as they continued down the hallways "If they say yes, then I suppose you can fly the ship."

"Yes!" The Ghost excitedly whispered and rested on his shoulder as if it was suddenly to tired to fly. "This gonna be so much fun!"

Atticus couldn't help but agree as he smiled over at Mason. "Yes, I'm sure it i-" Whatever he was about to have said was quickly forgotten at the larger than average ship waiting for them came into view.

"Whoa!" Mason perked up and flew back into the air staring at the ship. "That is one cool looking ship!" Mason said before turning to Atticus, a look of awestruck wonder on his face as he gawked at the sleek black and red ship. Before he could reply a light chuckle from Holliday and the invitation to take a look inside caused Mason to quickly spin back around. "We can WHAT!" Mason turned to look back at Atticus before turning just as quickly to look at the ship. "ME FIRST!" The Ghost yelled at it flew from the back of the group up the walkway and into the ship. It was silent for several moments as Mason explored the ship only to have the Ghost race quickly back to the open door to exclaim, "There's a freakin' minifridge in here!" Before disappearing once again into the ship.

Atticus just slowly shook his head, feeling only slightly embarrassed by his Ghost, although he was sure he would have had the same reaction as well. "Well," He composed himself and looked up to the other Guardians and Ghosts. "We have our objective and our ship. Let's say we gather what supplies we may need and meet back here before we set off. What do you guy's say?" He asked waiting for the others.
Michael's head cracked against the floor with a resound thud. How in the hell did I get myself into this? He thought to himself as he was once again pinned to the ground with his arm twisted behind his back. Help me with a demonstration, she said. An electronic chime sounded above him as the number on the display over Black Canary's head increased to 15 as his remained at a whopping 0. I wasn't expect 15 rounds of fighting with her! Hell, I would have worn something a bit more padded than jeans and a shirt!

"I think that's enough of a demonstration of the capabilities of the training program here in the War Room," He could feel her looking down at him. "Don't you think so, Michael?"

"Oh, yes, quite enough." He strained to say as she twisted his arm just a bit further before releasing him. Oh, thank God! I thought she was gonna break it. He pushed himself up on all fours before coming up to a kneeling position to roll his arm around in a circle. Again. He groaned as he stood back up and stretched before turning to face Black Canary. "If you're done with me, I'd like to get something to eat before everyone shows up and eats all the food."

She nodded to him as the displays over their heads vanished. "As you can see the War Room can be used as a training area besides what may be available in other areas of the headquarter."

She turned as a large display with the layout of the city appeared, but before he could heard her give the same speech he had heard before he left the War Room and began to make his way to the kitchen. Having been at the headquarters a full week before any of the other's that had been sponsored arrived he had wandered the halls of the headquarters and had found many shortcuts to other areas of the building. He decided now would be the time to use one if he wanted some of the food that was giving off such a delightful aroma through the entire floor. When he arrived where the others were he paid little attention to them and sat at the table where the food was before fixing himself a plate.
I'll get a post up later today to try and move things along some.
@HylianRose Thank you, I quite enjoyed writing it. :)

I'd been thinking about how to write it since you posted it last night. I'm quite happy with how it turned out.
The guard looked down at Derae waving up at him from a rather awkward position. "What are you crawling around for? Your legs don't work good anymore?" The guard asked as he moved to the side, moving the tent flap aside so she could walk out. "The Prince has ordered a horse be ready for you, from what I've heard it seems like the former commander will be taking your place at the rear of the march."

A small chuckle escaped the other guard at the front of the tent as he remembered the events of the previous night. "Right? What was it the Prince said? He wants the commander to see a horses ass all day, right?" He asked as the two guards that had been stationed at the other side of the tent made their way around to the front.

The first guard snorted. "No, no, no. He said," The guard paused for a second and cleared his throat as he attempted to impersonate Xander as best he could. Which wasn't very well. "I want the only thing that he sees tomorrow to be the horses lifting their tails to shit on him." The impersonation brought a round of laughter from the other guards, but quickly died down as Levi made his way towards the tent.

"Levi, sir," The first guard said saluting him. "I still don't know what to call you after your new promotion last night."

"Neither do I," Levi said looking from Derae to each of the guards. "I still have no idea what I've been promoted to! Xander says he's gonna be speaking with the General once we reach Castle Hyrule so I suppose I'll find out then. In the meantime," He looked back to Derae. "It's time for breakfast. The rest of the men are packing up the camp so while we wait I thought we could get you and that wolf of your something to eat before we start traveling." He looked to the two guards that had been guarding the front of the tent. "You two come with us, the other two start helping with the packing."

---Inside the Commander's Tent---

Xander sat up in the bed and yawned. "That has probably got to be the best sleep I've had in weeks." He said to himself as he set his feet on the ground and stretched his hands over his head listening to his joints pop as he turned this way and that, pausing every now and again as his muscles tensed up from the sudden movement before relaxing again.

Satisfied with his stretching he gathered his clothes and dressed before leaving the tent to find his horse staked outside. "Oh, good. They found you." The horse turned it's head to one side and looked at Xander. "You know it wasn't very funny, you leaving me on the ground like that." The horse simply returned to grazing on the grass near the tent. "Since you're so insistent I'll forgive you. Now I'll find the cooks tent and see if I can't find you an apple or something." Xander said patting the horses neck and retrieving his sword from his saddle before going to look for the cooks tent before it was packed like the others.
@HylianRose Wasn't strange at all. It seemed like a rather well written post to me.
