Ok now, it's FINALLY time to put the Ussuri-Varsovian Commonwealth on the map! How does this look?

Just making sure y'all see this, since Spleen moved the OOC another page forward RIGHT after I posted it. xD

Nope. Colt invented the revolver in 1836, 2 years after this setting. For multiple shots you'd still be using multiple pistols, or a double-barreled pistol.
The closest thing to derringers would be the Toby or "Muff" pistol, essentially a miniaturized flintlock meant to be concealed in a coat or purse.

Colt was 1836, but you actually did have revolvers earlier.

"One of the first was a flintlock revolver patented by Elisha Collier in 1814. The first percussion revolver was made by Lenormand of Paris in 1820[1] and the first percussion cap revolver was invented by the Italian Francesco Antonio Broccu in 1833." - Wikipedia

It's worth remembering, though, that none of these revolvers (nor even the 1836 Colt) had metal cartridges. You had to load each cylinder barrel individually.
Yep!
@shagranoz: Just a little FYI, derringers weren't around for another 20-odd years after 1834.
@6slyboy6 Oh yeah? What kind of issues? Could be fun.

Also, posted.

I'm insulted that you're pushing for an alliance with the ALORIANS before even considering the Commonwealth! INSULTED!
True. Very true. The other component of my question, though, is just where it makes sense based on history. A color code for the map would be extremely helpful.
Uhhhhh where would it be logical to have the 200+ systems of the Ussuri-Varsovian Commonwealth be?
PM sent!
Interested.
