Starting to wonder if this new wave of plagiarism is going to become an epidemic.
The Romanticisation of European Imperialism: Thread Number 285
YOU DON'T F*CKING SAY. Gosh, who would have though in a modern combat setting giant cumbersome beasts incapable of taking cover, slow as balls and not particularly maneuverable, would be sh*tty at modern combat. I say don't downsize them - let them learn the hard way that ever since like 1850 their sh*tty f*cking giant bodies are entirely worthless at fighting things with modern weapons.,
....*lowers head in shame*
Now initially, I had legitimate reason to believe that Duck, Wilson and Keyguyperson had 0 sense of scale, but NacNak not only takes the cake, but he has successfully managed to leave the planet with it. I mean, Jesus Christ:
*tears begin to well up*
Just, tone it down a bit. Take a stern gander at the other player applications for an approximate idea on where the setting sits in terms of power scale.

For every planet the R.Z.E colonize, a new one is made to defend it. These massive ships are 27,000 meters long, they have advanced state of the art heavy shielding and thick heavy armor. Their armed with a massive main gun that fires a 45 meter in diameter, 70 meter long rounds at 20% the speed of light, as well as 20 forward facing cannons that all fire a 20 meter in diameter, 40 meter long rounds at 10% the speed of light. 20,000 missile pods, 50,000 600mm point defense turrets, 6,000 rotating cannons (3,000 on each side of the ship) that fire 7 meter in diameter, 13 meter long rounds at 6% the speed of light
How are you going to navigate through buildings built by normal-sized aliens? They aren't going to engineer or erect doorways that cater to the morphology of mega-scale reptiles that are fifteen feet tall. Even the ten feet tall creatures are boldly pushing it. Seriously, that's roughly two feet taller than an M1 Abrams MBT, which by no means is a small vehicle. The way you've designed them, these guys are going to get ganked by smaller aliens with horrifying ease. Sheer physical strength might be ideal for sword-and-shield combat, but that's not going to cut it with smaller soldiers that are wearing powered exoskeletons and wielding hand-held infantry weapons that make modern anti-material rifles look like low-powered matchlock firearms.
... you have an exhalent point, but then again, the Zargan's wouldn't be the ones navigating through buildings, that'd be the Sas-Zak since they're roughly over 6ft tall =3 And the way I see it, if one Zargan was to come across a group on alien soldiers all around roughly 6ft, it be like Titanfall, where a team of pilots are going up against a single Titan Mech, except the pilots are harder to kill and more tedious to deal with, but that doesn't make it any easier to take the Titan down, and if you have a group of alien soldiers and a group of Zargan soldiers, it's be like a team of harder to kill pilots vs a team of Titans, if that makes any sense =3
And then one soldier comes forth with a light anti-tank missile launcher and settles the fight then and there. It's worse if these giant reptiles unfortunately find themselves trekking through urban environments, which is where most armored vehicles are at their weakest on account of the prominent number of areas from which ambushes can be launched from, the ever-present threat of concealed mines and IEDs, and the blind spots a bulky tracked vehicles is naturally afflicted with. The giant reptile isn't a tank, but it's still ungodly huge and therefore is bait for every bog standard trooper with something heavier than a battle rifle. It's not going to have the same amount of armor a tank has either because of the shape of its wearer and the mechanical problems that come along with elevated degrees of weight. I'm not trying to slam your idea, but massive aliens like that being conquerers doesn't make much sense. Their size is a horrible (and easily exploitable) disadvantage and the ten-footers aren't going to fair much better either.
15ft in height. You're going to have serious issues combating every other species in this RP on land.
I wouldn't think so, they know how to work around their height, they only thing that gets to them is their overconfidence when facing smaller opponents in close combat, even then they have the Sas-Zak and the Sparks if their height does impede their combat efficiency =3

I think my CS or... NS is finished =3 right, first things first, if their are any problems with it (which I fear there might be) feel free to let me know and I'll make changes as soon as I can so that the problems are resolved =3 ..... I wont lie... I'll probably pout a little if I have to...

now that that's out of the way, allow me to introduce to you... The Royal Zargonian Empire!!! *dramatic reveal music*

Support. Mahz, Would You Kindly return the glorious head of our e-peens?
And slaves are kind of unnecessary, robots are much cheaper.
how are robots cheaper? wouldn't they be more expensive? X3
No, because a robot isn't going to become exceptionally inefficient when it's stricken with disease or injured, it can work contentiously without pause (at least for a set duration; mechanical degradation will, eventually, put it into the maintenance shop) and it won't launch rebellions that can potentially bring your empire to the brink of collapse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Servile_Wars). Slavery might be viable as a stop-gap measure for a conquering army that needs to construct a land-side facility of some sort in a hurry, but a faction that relies on slave labor for its production needs will be out-performed by a faction that utilizes extensive automation. In the case of legitimate paid workers, a robot won't go on strike, it won't call off of work for petty reasons and it won't steal company property. You save a gargantuan amount of financial capital by decreasing the human presence in the production area. Read this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automation There's a reason Japan owns 50 percent of the world's factory automatons. Automation is just better.
Oh, you think destruction is your ally, but you merely adopted destruction. I was born in it, molded by it.
Yes, originality should be encouraged in RP. It is part of the fun, after all. Why take things such as concepts and even names directly from other sources?
