Interesting, but I'm trying to think of a reason a ship would need an undertaker and I'm drawing a blank. If anybody dies, we'd just toss the body over the side, maybe say a few words, get drunk, somebody would start singing "Binks' Sake" and by sunrise we would be hungover and unable to remember who we'd been mourning in the first place.

Rev is unsettling in her appearance in almost every sense of the word. She is short and gaunt, skin and flesh clinging to her skeleton in malnutrition and atrophy. What may have once been soft and peach colored is now totally devoid of color; her skin is a deathly white color with the faintest hints of blue veins crisscrossing beneath paper thin tissue. It is damaged in more places than one can count, valleys of scar tissue trace limbs and torso alike, with occasional pock marks from bullets dotting her form. Her upper body from neck to hip and across to sternum is burnt heavily, foul grey roughness marking horrific wounds by fire. Perhaps most noticeable of all is the long, wicked looking scar that drags from ear to ear, resembling a smile of damaged flesh that clings to itself in mock healing to keep her jaw as one. Her hair is equally lifeless, grey and straw like and unkempt as it hangs to her shoulders, and baggy eyes of hopeless black stare unflinchingly into the word, having long since lost their light.

Style:

Rev has long since passed the point of caring for style. The hideous state of her body demands she keep herself almost entirely covered. For this reason, she covers her torso in a long sleeve shirt of plain black fabric. Her legs are protected by a large, baggy pair of grey pants that keep themselves from bunching at her ankles by virtue of the heavy black boots that keep her feet safe. Boney knuckles are kept hidden beneath hardy leather gloves, and she is almost always within a well made black cloak completed with a hood to hide beneath. A metallic mask of wrought iron sometimes is worn across her lower face, resembling a large toothy grin. Her posture is best described as poor, and Rev frequently walks at an irregular pace that resembles a shambling.

Explanation:

The concept behind Rev's fighting is simple; outlast the enemy by constantly sieging them with her admittedly basic combat skills. No longer subject to the demands of life like fatigue, she is able to barrage her opponents with attack after attack without worrying about exhausting herself. The power of the Yomi Yomi no Mi ensures that, so long as an attack does not destroy parts of her body, her spirit will slowly piece it back together. This enables her to undertake crippling wounds without fear for permanent consequences, something she take advantage of by sacrificing whole limbs in order to score critical strikes, only to later pop the appendage in question back on.

While the majority of her fighting is done with the hefty crunch of shovel on bone, undeath is not the only ability her devil fruit has bestowed upon her. Her soul, tethered to the physical realm despite it being beyond its time on earth, is incredibly strong. She can manifest its strength in a variety of ways, although she typically chooses to augment her shovel with its strength. The icy winds of the underworld whirl around her makeshift weapon, chilling those unfortunate enough to incur her wrath.

Combat Personality/Style:

Rev is uncommonly aggressive in combat. Perhaps her unique position has given her a certain bravery in the face of death itself, but there's no doubt that when fighting begins,
she throws caution to the wind and often bullrushes her foes with a steady, level headed offensive devoid of fear like the rage of a berserker with none of the blinding anger.

Strengths :

Rev excels best in scenarios where she can lock her opponents into a battle of attrition and whittle them down overtime with her superior stamina. With her soul based powers, she can enhance the brutal strikes from her shovel with the chill of death. This literally imbues her attacks with an icy property, freezing those that touch her enhanced attacks. Although she usually saves it for out of combat purposes, she is capable of detaching her soul from her body to function as an intangible spirit for the purposes of scouting.

Weaknesses:

Anybody who can deny Rev the benefit of close range is her bane. If they can end the fight by doing too much damage for her to sustain herself before she can tire them, she is also largely powerless. Though she is able to detach herself from her physical body, this leaves it vulnerable to attack,
and she cannot venture too far from it, as it is her anchor in the world.

Her wardrobe is quite humble for the most part. Isuza's mother returned to the turbulent Grand Line childless and her father, now responsible for an infant, moved to the much safer South Blue to raise his daughter.

She grew with the business, toddling around the drydock to the sound of hammers and files, watching whole vessels spring up from fallen trees and iron nails. Shipwright: Isuza is a skilled carpenter and is capable of repairing, designing and creating seaworthy vessels when given the proper supplies and time. She is able to repair moving vessels from below thanks to her fishman genealogy.

Rupture: Isuza launches a hard punch that unknowingly embodies the principles of Fishman Karate, causing the water in her opponent's body to rapidly shift, rupturing organs and muscle tissue.
Uchimizu: Gained through repetition of practice and inhuman strength, Isuza launches a single droplet of water at incredible speeds.

Nakama

"Broadsides" Captain Cedric D. Boone: The infamous captain of the Red Rum Pirates often conflicts Isuza. On one hand, he is all that the girl imagined corsairs to be in her youth; fearless, swaggering rogues with a knack for adventure and great care for their crew. On the other, his habits of excessive drinking and boisterous personality make him a difficulty for the nervous lass to deal with on a consistent basis. She believes, however, that inspite of the stark differences in their persons, that Cedric is a good man with strong, if questionable morals that seeks only the best for his crew. She is happy to have the opportunity to serve as his shipwright.
Bonesword "The Mushroom Kid": Bonesword is an oddity, something Isuza was as well at his age. His different appearance may ostracize him or even attract negativity among most crowds, but the girl refuses to partake in such, and actively hopes to shield him from the mockery she knows too well. She does question the logic in allowing a boy so young and so fragile (being only bones) onto a pirate vessel, but seeing as he has little other choice, has decided his presence is for the best, though her neurotic tendencies do cause her to worry for him.
"The Wolf of the Blue" Caesar Inu: Caesar is not somebody Isuza gets along with often. His lack of drive and conviction contrast heavily with her own strong work ethic. She thinks of him as a lazy bum, although she would never admit such a thing outloud, and often has to shoo him off the decks during routine inspections lest his nap induced flatulence complicate her job.
"Black Hood" Dirk Messir: Dirk's instability and tendency to lash out at others often sends Isuza shuffling away from the boy before any meaningful interaction can occur. Her inability to communicate comfortably with most people is only complicated by Dirk's behavior, as such abnormality is completely out of her already narrow comfort zone.
"Oilburn" Slick Drake: Isuza holds a fairly high opinion of Slick. His insistence upon cooking what she likes over all else has led to many a tuna-filled tummy and ax pleased shipwright, though she often feels this is a result of her saving his life upon their first meeting. While she is happy to have done it, she thinks she is undeserving of such treatment, as anybody could have assisted him. She is cross with him for the theft of many a chisel and hammer from her workshop, but lacks the backbone to confront him over it and usually just replaces the equipment.
Lilliana Merrycure: As with most people, Isuza's feelings on Lilliana are mixed. The quirky, upbeat nature of the group's resident mad scientist tends to make her uncomfortable, but her more maternal side is something Isuza, who largely lacked a figure of that nature in her youth, admires and occasionally yearns for despite their proximity in age. Though rarely does she try nabbing the attention of the zany girl, Isuza has spent many a night explaining why modifications conceived in the metallic girl's lab are not feasible, no matter how cool a giant chainsaw on the bow would be.
"Fitness" Feya Nelson: Isuza enjoys Feya's company and work ethic. Indeed, the doctor is the person she is most alike onboard the ship and usually the one she seeks out on rare occasions of social bravery. Her tendency to put Isuza on the spot is frightening, but she appreciates the sentiment of being given a voice, even if she'd prefer to go without one. While her determination is something Isuza admires, it also is the result of great guilt. While Feya actively puts herself through hellish training to build her strength, Isuza's natural fishman power keeps the two of them neck and neck in the contests they undertake. The shark girl feels her ability to keep up with somebody so much more dedicated than she is completely unfair, and if not for her insistence on honesty and straight shooting, she likely would throw some of these friendly matches to the deserved winner.
