Just wanted to have Luna be a former priestess the a diety of water (specifically freshwater, rivers, streams, lakes, rain, etc). Didn't need to go into details beyond that, since it's ultimately just a former life (and former god, lol). Didn't know if you needed any particular aspects reserved or what not.
@Rune_Alchemist

Since all other deities are long gone, would I be privvy to making one up, or would you want me to run it by you first? Their actually existing/having existed is unimportant, I just wanted a deity to name-drop for Luna's background.
I'll wait until the whole thing is finished to render complete judgement, but just to make clear - You seem to be going for Enthrallment and charm as abilities, correct?

More or less, with some added counterspell-esque stuff. All things "locking down the board". A filthy Esper mtg player.

LUNA EMERALTIDE

Abilities:

A longing for control, stasis, and jurisdiction serve as the fundament of Luna's peculiar magic, borne of her unique and particularly strong capacity for enthrallment. So potent is the pierce of her mystic gaze and the ineffable quality of her voice that even her kin sometimes cannot resist. The extreme character of this ability manifests too in her applied magic as ethereal chains, enrapturing spirits, and dismissive auras. Upon the battlefield, Luna dominates her adversaries by way of binding them into paralysis or sapping their will.

Luna can ensnare victims with manifested chains, tying their arms to prevent retaliation, or binding their legs in place to stop their movement. Similarly, she can achieve the same effects by draining the target of their inclination to fight -a 'charm' spell, more or less. At its most powerful, Luna can outright dominate a victim's mind, temporarily throwing them into thralldom, and contesting against their willpower.

Each of these things Luna manifests through her gaze and through voice. Beautiful and soothing, her voice can at one moment be merely an enticing melody, and the next a disorienting curse. To mortals, even unintentionally, a look into her eyes for just a little too long may draw dizziness, confusion, or captivation.

She is in all ways a siren that nullifies and neutralizes, leaving one helpless of her approach when at last her saber or fangs find their way into flesh.

Personality:

Matronly. Focused. Curious.

Luna favors peace over violence, and would rather a world return to its former glory, than to stagnate in moonless ennui as it is. To her, everything now is a mistake that must be corrected, albeit with carefully-designed adjustments in favor of her own kind. Though loyal to vampire-kind and Ichor, Luna holds that man is an existence that should be respected less as cattle, and more as a reservoir of 'friends' to draw from. The connotation in her wording and demeanor, however, ties the nature of 'friends' and 'pets' closely together. A servant, a dog, or a cow -each is still something that even humans can come to 'love and respect' despite the reality of their existences.

Posturing as an accommodating and reliable figure, Luna strives to be a mentor and leader in many ways, perhaps out of a longing to be considered helpful and appreciated. With a longing for the return of the moon, she is driven to uplift Ichor, her kin, and all those who would further this endeavor. Some might call her ambitious, though Luna would describe herself as a merely hopeful soul.

The outwardly cold in demeanor, she is in reality quite fond of socializing, new relationships, and even comedy. With a joke, her poised expression turns to giddy laughter, and the veil of seriousness drops in favor of someone amicable and friendly. Though her dedication to her goals are iron, she need not be herself.

Biography:

When Luna yet breathed, her profession was that of a priestess in service to the goddess Atmeria, now long forgotten by man. As a priestess to the deity of rivers, lakes, and other freshwater sources, Luna blessed locales with safe travels, bountiful harvests of fish, and purity. The sanctity of wells, guarding them from proliferating disease and taint, fell into her purview as well.

The sole caretaker of a temple to Atmeria, Luna was more often visited by hopeful suitors rather than villagers seeking divine blessings and rituals. Her immaculate voice, like crystalline pristine waters of a mountain stream, drew the attention and desire of many. Some merely sought her innocent company, while others nigh-demanded less savory things.

In the twilight of the Ophidiel Era, one such persistent suitor would visit upon Luna not merely his own charming company, but eternity itself. The vampire, in their affair with Luna, feared the loss of her immaculate song, and begged her to remain at his side into the yawning road of forever. Smitten by his person, and herself always an aloof priestess, Luna accepted his proposition and bound her destiny to endless time.

The rendezvous with the man would not last, in a cruel twist of fate: he himself would not last, leaving the once-mortal priestess alone in the Gotterdamerung. As the curtain upon the world descended but inches above the stage, Luna took to wandering, drinking in all that she may experience, and honing the beliefs in Ichor that now guide her newly-awoken chapter.
Ok, if Asu’s actually in I’ll jump in too.

Victoria remained at arms-length from the table, still defensive with her crossed arms. An upturned gaze fell down to those who weren't too tall to pull the expression off on. Her voice raised, easily drawing the attention of other unassuming customers towards their booth.

"I don't want any food -I'm here for one reason, and you've all fallen for my trap! Let me show you just how vulnerable you truly are!" the girl said, suddenly widening her stance, as if preparing to throw herself onto the table. "If you're so eager to fight off intruders, then prepare!"

Instead of throwing herself onto the table, Victoria instead shot her hands forward in a style all too reminiscent of a certain ages-old battle anime that had somehow survived into thirty-three seasons across time. There was a rumble in the DIHOP, like something was shaking its foundation, when suddenly an attack manifested from the ceiling above. In a flash of white-painted building material, a column shot forth at an angle, aimed squarely for Runa's ahoge-tipped head.

Despite the sudden sucker punch, for Runa, the attack was child's play, even forgetting that Victoria had essentially called her attack. It was easy to avoid, and pitifully weak if Runa decided to tank it. Perhaps it'd hurt at best, but fell a mile short of the sorts of damage she'd taken in her life. Whichever transpired, Victoria's battle-ready grin quickly dissipated into confusion and then disappointment. Either she had lost any will, or that single attack was all she could muster. Lowering her arms, she blinked and frowned.

"I... never mind..." she said gloomily, her shoulders sagging. Utterly defeated by the vast ocean between them, the originally haughty attitude she sported was replaced by a despondent shuffle to the seat where Runa had made room. Sitting herself down with a slump, she kept her gaze towards the food.

"Nice to meet you," she sighed. "Yea... he's my grandfather," she finally responded to Jin-Sun.

With the deftness of someone who had been stuck in the service industry for far longer than the average human sanity was equipped to deal with, the waitress coursed through the electronic pad's menu, jotting down each order like she was perfecting a rhythm game. At Runa's order and, ultimately, Kyouko's, she smiled nervously but said nothing, simply doing her job and not questioning the appetites of two young ladies. If they paid, they paid, right?

"Ah, that promotion ended last week, but we still have a bunch of the codes in the back, actually," the waitress laughed to herself, "If you want I can just get you a handful of them or something. Don't really have a way to get rid of them otherwise." Surely the prospect of getting a bunch of free gacha codes without even having to buy the meal wouldn't be turned down, and so with everyone's orders mustered, the waitress gave them all a nod and walked off to the next booth of customers.

Even considering the immensity of the order, DIHOP being a cheap establishment with quick and often pre-prepared meals, the team's food arrived on their table within a short while, no doubt stretching the limits of the table's available space. With their food ready a dozen minutes into their gathering, something did seem to be missing in the end...

Mason's granddaughter was supposed to be sharing this meal with them, wasn't she? This far into eating, she definitely seemed to be late. Perhaps shy or perhaps...

The Final Five, if at all they cared in the end to entertain a young fan, would have their worries or questions answered quickly enough once they were near the end of their food. Though... perhaps, Kyouko was still tackling hers, considering her decidedly more mundane digestive system compared to Runa.

The front doors to the DIHOP slid open out of sight of the Final Five, ringing an electronic bell that normally would have drawn the attention of no one but the employees themselves.

"Welcome to DIHO- er." The busboy at the entrance stopped their greeting short when whoever had entered simply walked right past, utterly ignoring the young man. Though their shoes were hardly heavy, the unseen individual stomped around the corner, right for the Final Five's booth, as if somehow psychically knowing where they were located.

When at last they stood before the Final Five, they found themselves met with a rather cross-looking girl. Long blonde hair was tied up in a messy ponytail, and cool blue eyes glared down at the group (or up, in Tian-Gui's case, despite him still sitting) below heavy eyelashes. The stick of a lollipop stuck out from between frowning lips, and she stood with a wide stance, arms crossed over her chest. Indeed, she appeared to be no younger than Runa and Kyouko, as Mason had mentioned, likely a high schooler herself, though perhaps at the end of her primary education.

That is, assuming she was the granddaughter in question.

She looked over each of the members, one by one, before opening her mouth to speak with an irreverent, growly tone.

"What kind of heroes choose a DIHOP? Don't you all have some kind of special place you patronize?" she mouthed off, "If I wanted to barge in here and attack you all, you wouldn't have any kind of security detail! The robot chefs wouldn't do anything."

Mason let out a gentle laugh, and shook his head at Iphigenia.

"My granddaughter is quite the tough one, even for her child-like excitement to meet you all. I'd be careful calling her a 'kiddo'! After all, she's no younger than Kyouko or Runa here," he said, gesturing to the two youngest Final Five. "I truly feel like an old man when I wish for only the best for her to eat, but I'm not senile yet either, and I've got my eyes still, so I know that she loves that DIHOP." Mason began to type something into his phone, googling the location of somewhere he'd had in memory.

"I believe there is one not too far from this complex," he began, "By what John had said though, you may not all have time for karaoke. I'm sure Victoria would be happy to be spared from singing, to be quite honest!" Mason laughed again. "I'll let her know where to meet you all," he said, sending a quick ping with his phone to relay the location of the DIHOP. Several stories down, and a mile away. Easily accessible by pedestrian bridges if the Final Five felt like getting cardio rather than calling a shuttle.

Ultimately, the Final Five would depart by whatever means, heading into the more middling levels of the city, and into an equally massive tower packed to bursting with commercial storefronts. Things were busy here in one of the spaces where countless residential complexes converged, as it served as a hub for just about anything anyone could need within a several mile radius. Their designated 'Denny's International House of Pancakes' had a decent amount of patronage at their dinner time, but most knew it was when the hour struck midnight that the place usually became its most full, assaulted by the oddities of the city for their late-night munchies. Thanks to robotics, the establishment could send its tired employees home whilst still maintaining a 24/7 schedule for the restaurant.

After being seated, for those who chose not to arrive in disguise, the group was themselves assaulted by curious stares. For the time being, they were spared requests for autographs, though the mumbling of citizens debating if they should was plain to anyone who listened in. A server, likely themselves withholding their own excitement to maintain a professional composure, approached the table.

"Welcome to DIHOP! What can I get you all?" the young woman asked cheerily, holding her tablet at the ready to record orders. Mason's granddaughter had yet to arrive, it seemed, looking around.

Mason wiggled his mustache and cleared his throat before responding to Runa as he lifted his newspaper back up to continue reading.

"In total, five unmanned vehicles have been sent in. Only one returned, but such a case seemed like the result of caution than anything notable. The unmanned Kurganets-70 only entered the area for about 5 minutes before returning back. The pilots... Ahem... 'chickened out' it seemed," he explained.

John nodded to the butler before returning his attention to the Final Five. Reaching across, he retrieved all of the dossiers except for the PSYBLOC incident casefile, leaving the details for the team themselves.

"Sounds like an agreement then. Worry not though, Runa. Iphigenia. We'll get to the other tasks in time. I don't currently have anyone that can or would take up the missions themselves, so most of these are on you... Not to rush you all or anything. The world might be rife with odd events, but it's been that way for awhile now, hasn't it?" John chuckled, standing up. "It can stand to deal with them for a bit longer I'd say. Let's hope none of them are the world-ending scenarios, and this PSYBLOC matter is the right call."

John gave a nod to Mason and headed for the exit to the room -ultimately he was several doors away from fully exiting the whole headquarters.

"I'll set up the transportation for you all ASAP. But until then, you've some free time. I'll call you all before the end of the day, almost certainly. I'd anticipate to be heading westbound for some harsh Russian weather within 24 hours," John explained, standing beneath the door to the hall. "And... feel free to decide on what you'll do after this mission's complete. Perhaps the Musicians or London's thieves? I'll talk to you all later." At that, John disappeared around a corner, followed by the shutting of the door behind him.

Mason ruffled his newspaper and folded it, setting it down.

"If I may, heroes, before you leave. I was hoping you could help me with a much simpler matter?" he asked, "Didn't wish to ask this of you while John was around, and risk his ire for burdening you with even more troubles. This old man simply wished to give his granddaughter a chance to meet those she looks up to."
