Current I enjoy drawing new OCs entirely too much.

Bio

I'm not very complicated. I'm an artist who is always learning something new, and though my art isn't amazing, it's improving, which is a good thing in my book. I'm very social online, so feel free to talk to me. My favorite things are traveling, small town restaurants, and late night diners at 2 AM with my girlfriend. I have the ability to waste $100 in an hour, then make $5 last all week and absolutely zero math skills.

I have a plethora of OCs. A shameful amount even. One for just about any situation that could come up.

Yeah, I didn't research much into this. However, I was planning on basing them in Eleusis where Demeter and Dionysus were the chief gods back in the old days (at least as far as Google is telling me).

It's "close" to Athens if I'm not mistaken.

Well, I'll have tons to choose from it seems but perhaps the outskirts of Athens would be the best bet so it could serve like the apartment for witches who travel to Greece?

Without revealing too much of my plans... don't worry about that. Base him wherever you like. I'm making a character that will connect them. Vessel of the Fates, let's say.
@TheUnknowable

While I don't think Alexander lives in Athens (since it's not a good place for anything agricultural), he certainly could have visited. Gone to the library and everything and maybe even take your character back to his home to talk about rituals.

hahafinallymytriptogreecewillcomeinhandy. Due to e-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y poor soil in Greece, only like maybe 30% of the land is farmable, and those areas are USUALLY, Thessaly, Macedonia, and Thrace (I know Macedonia has its own republic now, and thrace is a split territory), so I'd say probably Thessaly, which is up North, a bit far from Athens, so maybe Mt. Parnassus? Since the family has Demeter's blessing though, I can see them setting up just about anywhere.
@KimmiNinja Telasie wants to start a "Scrap Protection Team", I can already tell.
@Atroposer Will hopefully have the CS to you within the next few days.

Sounds good! I hope to start within the next few days, but if you're playing a deity, take all the time you need, they won't come in immediately !
@Polaris North Yep yep yep!
@Atroposer

Ha, thanks! I was planning on him knowing more rituals but I thought that might not really bode well.

And I can't think of anything else.

I'm sure he'll learn a few more along the way!
@TheUnknowable@Polaris North

I love Alexander already. Approved!

I'm also going to pre-approve yours, Able!

Two witches filled and I might fill the last spot.
Also!! I normally don't support this, but you can have multiple characters!
@Atroposer

One more question. The Old Magic always required a blood sacrifice? It can't be another sacrifice or does it depend on what ritual one is performing?

Good question! I'd say blood sacrifice would be most useful in old magic, but food, monetary, and sentimental sacrifice would work as well.
@TheUnknowable@Polaris North Rituals can be shared! I imagine there are many common ones.
Oh shoot, now that I think about the character I was intending to make, he fits more to Demeter than anyone else...

He can always try to invoke her and just roll with the others until she's waken up! It would be interesting to see the interaction for a follower of Demeter and Hades, given the whole angry mother-in-law thing. If he's not a follower of Demeter YET, I can certainly see the Fates stepping in before one of the others snatches him up.
