Personality
Archer is a man with a rather contradictory personality. Cynical and pessimistic, yet, he is far from a workaholic, and he is also a playboy who utters nihilistic jokes at appropriate times. Someone who approves rational tactics, and social justices, but because his starting point is the ideal of "wishing to save all people", there is a part of him that simply cannot remain cool-headed. A realist who will perform his duty as a Servant indifferently.
Archer's true wish is "to die". To accomplish this, he plans to kill his younger self. Of course, at the same time, Archer knows that doing this deed won't lead to his wish. He only means to make sure his younger self does not make the same mistakes he does. In other words, Archer cannot approve of the one named Emiya Shirou becoming a "Hero of Justice", but at the same time, he cannot deny his ideals as they are also Archer's own. This Shirou, however...
Archer also enjoys housework, cooking especially, though he will deny that he finds any enjoyment in such activities.

Class Skills
Magic Resistance: D
Class skill of the Knight-class Servants as well as Rider that grants protection against magical effects. Cancels Single-Action spells. Magic Resistance of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy. Although Archer was a magus in his lifetime, his compatibility with magic is low compared to heroes from the Age of Gods where such sorceries were commonplace. As a result, Archer's Magic Resistance is low.
Independent Action: B
Class skill of the Archer class. The ability to remain independent even when rejecting the magical energy supply from one's Master, allowing for action even in the absence of a Master. At higher ranks, it is also possible to remain for extended periods of time in this world without an established contract. It is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for two days without a Master. However, this is the ideal value achieved by maximally conserving mana and avoiding battle and Noble Phantasm usage. In addition, should Archer's spiritual core receive lethal damage, he is still able to survive for a short amount of time.
Eye of the Mind (True): B
Insight cultivated from training and learning. The “logic of battle” to calmly grasp one's situation and the abilities of the enemy, and find out a means of escape when in a dilemma. If the possibility of a reversal is even 1%, a chance can be pulled out by putting this strategy into practice. Something falsely similar to the skill Instinct.
Clairvoyance: C
A skill considered to be a 'must-have' for the Archer class, connotes superior visual perception and affects the accuracy of bows, supplementing the long-range aiming of projectile weapons. Also used frequently for scouting, as simply looking from a high location allows one to fully survey a town and seek enemies. In Archer's case, he is capable of keeping track of fast-moving objects within a range of four kilometers, acquiring this skill by using his 'Reinforcement' magecraft on his eyes.
Magecraft: C-
Skill denoting the knowledge of modern Thaumaturgy. Capable of using orthodox Thaumaturgy, such as "Reinforcement" to temporarily increase the essence of the tool and "Projection" to grasp the structure of the substance and temporarily replicate it. During his life time, the sorceries learned by EMIYA are unremarkable. Before becoming a Heroic Spirit, even "Reinforcement" was quite difficult. However, the "Projection" sorcery he wields is quite special, as it is able to duplicate weapons, including all the components, to near perfection. In addition, during duplication, he can even read the wielder’s skills, which allows him to gain all kinds of Noble Phantasms and combat skills.

A unique magecraft called a "Reality Marble."
Archer does not have a true Noble Phantasm that is the crystallized embodiment of a hero's existence like many demonic or holy swords, but if a Noble Phantasm is considered to be a symbol of the Heroic Spirit, then the Reality Marble is his Noble Phantasm. It is a high-class Thaumaturgy that embodies his internal world and imprints it upon the World as a Bounded Field for a short amount of time. It is Archer's one true specialization of magecraft, the result of "Sword" being both his Origin and Elemental Affinity, and the basis of his projection and reinforcement skills. It is the definite answer obtained by someone whose life was saved by a sword, actually merged and lived with a sword, and acted as a sword all of his life. A magus who specialized in forging swords over one's entire lifetime while struggling to arrive at this one land very far to them.
Outside of the Reality Marble, Archer utilizes this Noble Phantasm through the use of his "Projection" and "Reinforcement" magecraft. He is also capable of recording and analyzing all weapons and defensive armaments that he encounters, the current number of recorded weapons numbering in the thousands. This method of analysis, however, is only limited to the basic human senses, though Archer is also capable of analyzing and projecting weapons shared from dreams and memories. The Reality Marble itself is like a steel factory, producing countless famous swords, all Noble Phantasms, dotting the horizon. Within it, all these swords are under Archer's control. It should be noted, however, that the weapons produced by this Noble Phantasm cannot reach the quality of the original, and are normally downgraded by one rank unless utilized as a "Broken Phantasm." Divine Constructs such as Excalibur are incapable of being replicated by this Reality Marble, though degraded Noble Phantasms with the same effect may exist within the Reality Marble.
