Managed to burn both my thumbs and index fingers pulling a tray of cookies out of the oven. I trusted you, oven mitts, and you betrayed me.

RP’s that amass a good player base and have a good start only to suddenly die are why I have trust issues.

We may have a Magneto incoming =)

The Magneto is here. Well that's the idea at least.
So I guess I should ask, alright if I join in on the fun?
@Wittywolf Looks fine to me, but I'd wait to hear what Mega says about it as I have no power here.
@viraniAwesome! Now we just need to find a way to get in contact with @wernher and we'll be in business!
@mega birb Good good :)

Sooooo I may have super linked Jason's character page...
@Mega Birb Should we wait to see if any of the others come back and post? Or post whenever possible?

@WittyWolf Also, Welcome! Love your character :)
Jason sat against a wall in the Zakera ward staring up at the ceiling. Maybe it was a mistake, maybe there was a glitch or a payment hadn’t gone through yet. Pushing off the wall he pulled up his Omni-tool and quickly checked his account.

Credit Amount: 300

Nope, still dirt poor. Jason’s arms dropped to his side as he slumped back and slid down the wall. He knew what the problem was, his damn morals. He was a merc now, yet he wouldn’t take any jobs that involved drugs or hits. Hell, the only reason he had lasted this long was body guarding contracts but those really didn’t pay much. This was it, he had to make a decision. Starve with his honor, or finally give in to the criminal life…. Damn he needed a drink. Luckily there was a bar not too far, and from what he knew it wasn’t pricey. Pushing himself off the ground he made his way there.

Walking in a little too hastily he was given a stern look from the bouncer. Guess walking in armored up with high caliber weapons could give the wrong impression. Jason held his hands up half way and nodded to the Krogan, hoping it let him know he wasn’t trying anything. With luck the Krogan nodded back and continued surveying the joint, Jason did the same to see if there was a seat. Unfortunately the only one available was next to a rather drunk looking Batarian, a human sitting next to him would end really well.
Having no choice he walked up and took a seat.

“Hey barkeep, give me a rum and coke.” He almost immediately regretted saying anything as the Batarian next to him shoved his shoulder.

“Hey you pink slime! That seat is taken!” The Batarian practically yelled in his face.

“Sorry, didn’t know anyone else was sitting here” Jason tried to apologize but the Batarian was having none of it.

“Just like you didn’t know we were in the Verge? You humans all think you can just romp around the galaxy, but sooner or later you’re gonna stick your ugly noses somewhere and your precious council won’t be able to save you!” Jason could see this guy was just having a political rant so he tried not to push him further.

“Look man, I’ve got no problems with you. Just let me get my drink and I’ll-“ Before he could finish, the Batarian grabbed him by the chest plate and slammed him on the counter.

“I’LL GIVE YOU A PROBLEM!” The Batarian reached for a pistol he had on his side.

Acting fast Jason grabbed the first thing he could, which just so happened to be a glass of Turian brandy and vodka, and smashed it on the Batarian’s head. Now stunned, Jason gave a quick hook shot to the Batarian and knocked him to the floor. The Batarian quickly recovered with his weapon drawn, but didn’t take note of the Krogan standing behind him. In an instant the Batarian disarmed and flying out of the bar.

With that taken care of Jason brushed the broken glass off and sat back down, just in time for his drink to arrive.
Thank you! I hope things do kick up a bit, I've really enjoyed reading what's been posted so far and look forward to our adventures :)

(This is close, just uncomb the hair and add the eye scar.)

Armor: Heavy Freedom armor

Apparel: Dark green armor with blue trims.

Equipment: Standard Omni-tool. Full case of medi-gel.

Personality: Jason is a rather nice and laid back guy, never caring for the stiff attitude of the others in the military. He will usually try to avoid fights detesting unwanted or unnecessary violence. But don’t mistake this for weakness, Jason can be merciless in combat and won’t stop until his enemies are in the ground. Usually armed to the teeth, Jason can’t go anywhere without at least a side arm. He has a fondness for playing video games on his omni-tool.

Biography: With both his parents serving, Jason was born into the military. He was taught early on about honor and duty, doing whatever he could to protect the galaxy. Being trained wasn’t an option, learning to shoot a gun came right after learning to walk. He tried making friends at first, but when you keep getting bounced from colony to colony it was hard to stay in contact. Eventually he accepted that only real friend he’d always have was the pistol at his side. He spent his days practicing his shooting and some parkour whenever possible, sometimes ditching his studies to do so. Eventually he had the reflexes and accuracy worthy of a soldier.

After turning 16, during a visit to Earth, Jason ran away and lied about his age to join the Alliance, ready to serve humanity. His first 3 years out of the academy were spent on the SSV Verdun (A frigate class vessel) doing random missions around the galaxy. While praised by the crew for his combat ability, his captain considered him reckless due to his run and gun tactics. After a devastating surprise attack from Batarians, the Verdun was damaged beyond repair and was retired. The crew was reassigned and Jason ended up on Dobrovolski helping colonists fend off raiders and other hostile forces. He saw this as the biggest waste of time as now the action had to come to him.

At the age of 20 he applied for the Specters. 4 times. Each one he was shut down for some reason or another, but he knew the real reason, he was a human. Luckily, another group took interest, Cerberus. Cerberus, still under the Alliance at the time, had Jason transferred to one of their facilities for experimental training and testing. Having no biotic powers and only basic knowledge of technology, Jason was down to have any advantage offered. Advanced targeting systems wired into his eyes and brain for improved accuracy and reflex time, modified cells to enhance regeneration (just like regenerating health in game. He’s not becoming wolverine.) These were a few of the things implemented into him and he learned how to use them to their fullest ability. Then, things took a dark turn.

After serving with Cerberus as their test subject for nearly 2 years, Jason began to wonder how Cerberus was able to create all the new technology and even perfect it with just him. After swiping a security pass from one of the scientists, Jason was able to hack into their servers and discovered where they had been getting his enhancements, from other species they had been kidnapping.
His tech came from Truian soldiers that were “MIA”, and the modified regeneration was adapted from Krogan bounty hunters they had lured in by hiring them and then capturing them. All of whom they experimented on until dying gruesomely or killing themselves. And now they had an Asari commando.

These weren’t the enemies of humanity, they were their allies! It was wrong and Jason wasn’t having any of it. Not even wanting to think about what they were planning with her, Jason knew it was time to end this. Locating where the Asari was held, Jason made his way there only to find out his stealth skills weren’t what he thought. From the time he pushed the first key Cerberus knew he had compromised their security, and as a defense measure, had gassed the entire prison sector. Not even the guards made it out. Jason was then targeted by all remaining Cerberus personnel, but none of them even held a candle to him.

After escaping on a stolen shuttle, Jason tried to contact the Alliance and expose Cerberus, but it was no use. The facility was destroyed and all evidence of what went on there had been wiped. The only survivors aside from Jason were the men running the facility. They blamed the destruction on Jason saying he had a PTSD event and thought he was kidnapped by Batarian slavers. Jason was immediately discharged from the Alliance and given a court order to see a psychiatrist.

Of course he didn’t go. Instead he hopped on the next transport and began wandering the galaxy.
Hell yeah! I'll get to work immediately :)

Uh oh. I hope they reappear soon...
Is this still live? I'd love to join :)
