God's Shattering [Concluded]

Jessi "Jess" Phalanx

Name: Jessi “Jess” Phalax
Age: 18

Allegiance: Imperium (Military Division)

History (Optional): Life wasn’t too difficult for Jessi. Sure he was an only child raised by a single mother, but when that mother is an over seer at one of the main Golden Knights outpost in Rivenwood, you don’t really have to worry about food on the table. While he never met his father, it was rumored around the base that he was a member of the Platinum Knights. This was later confirmed by his mother, although no more details about him were given. With that kind of lineage, Jessi knew in his heart what his destiny was, to become the greatest soldier the Imperium had seen.

Jessi’s mother began his training the day he could hold a spear, and she did not go easy on him. If he wanted to be a soldier, he would be held to their standards, and he did not disappoint. Having access to military grade equipment and an entire forest of monsters to use them on, Jessi was able to push himself day and night to hone his abilities until he was old enough to leave home and join the academy.

After the required three years, Jessi graduated with honors and immediately enlisted in the Golden Knights.

Personality: Jessi is the gung-ho recruit fresh out of the academy. As such he has a hot head and an undying loyalty to his man and country. He has nothing but respect for his superiors, they say jump he asks how high. Outside of battle he has a kind heart always ready to help out a friend or stranger in need. That is, if you’re loyal to the Imperium.

Traitors, criminals, and any who dare oppose the glory of the Imperator will be able to submit their complaints to the tip of his spear. That being said, he is more than happy to leave the ruthless killing to the red Judicials.

Tome (Color and Abilities): Jessi's tome is his gray headband, its abilities help keep his head clear for fighting or otherwise.

First, it blocks out all forms of telepathy and mind reading, keeping his secrets and strategies to himself. Unfortunately if someone where trying to reach him via telepathy, they would just get a busy signal.

Second, it allows for better focus of his senses and allows him to processes everything faster, giving him an edge in spotting and reading his opponents. This doesn’t increase his reaction speed nor does this make him immune to illusionary spells, though he has a greater chance of seeing through them.

These effects only work while the headband is on, if somehow removed all boosts and powers are also.

Other: He idolizes the guardians to the point he knows as much about them as a wiki page would.

I believe I have become inadequate for this RP… If I look a what posts people put out regularly, I just can't…
Stupid English-not-being-my-native-language thing…
I feel I'm not good enough for this RP… and don't tell me otherwise, I know you want longer and better posts from me, well those of you who still sorta care, at least.

Seriously though, the short posts you do are great! Had you not said anything I would never have guessed English wasn't your first language.

As for how long the posts are... Just ask @Forsythe, I used to only be able to do one or two sentences at a time (and they weren't even very cohesive.) All you gotta do is push a little every time and sooner or later, you'll be flushing out whole pages with almost no effort.

Don't give up on yourself yet, I know we haven't :)
