Managed to burn both my thumbs and index fingers pulling a tray of cookies out of the oven. I trusted you, oven mitts, and you betrayed me.

Thanks to having to move earlier this year, I finally get to experience snow for the first time since my early childhood. It's absolutely wonderful :)

RP’s that amass a good player base and have a good start only to suddenly die are why I have trust issues.

Angus MacCallum

Angus was dumbfounded by the pair as one claimed the bright neon orange liquid on the floor was actually green, while the other gave the excuse of being color blind and thus unable to corroborate with any story. ”Are you straight daft, woman? That looks nothing like green and probably tastes even less like it.” Angus argued pointing both his hands at the evidence on the floor that was quickly being destroyed by the janitor.

Instead of owning up at all the janitor simply told Angus where he could go to get another one for cheaper before excusing themselves and heading off. He had half a mind to follow them and continue pestering until they either fessed up or even offered to repay him. But after the other ordeal, he didn’t feel like starting yet another scene in the food court. Pinching the bridge of his nose he just shook his head and grumbled, ”Fine whatever. Guess I’ll just go fuck meself then.”

No friends or food to keep him tied there, Angus decided he’d had enough fun at the mall and headed back to his dorm.

Balrog

Balrog wasn’t amused by Frans comments toward his gun. ”Balrog only shoot when Balrog want!” The large demon snarled at the succubus clearly unaware of the sexual nature behind the remark.

It would become even more apparent that Balrog had little understanding of sarcasm as Miyu flew into the air and began claiming Angel superiority over Demons. The barrel of his arm cannon began to glow with a slight hum as he considered shutting up the annoying rantings of this angel with a few well placed shots which would also stick it to the succubus as well. However, Miyu was quick to drop the facade and stated she was ready to get back to work. The warm glow dispersed and the humming ceased as Balrog figured he would have to shoot her. Yet.

And then before anything else could really transpire, Miyu judo flipped Fran which made Balrog laugh. ”Little angel not as weak as she look.” He said genuinely impressed she managed to pull it off.

Y da fuq u lying is clearly the best ending.
<Snipped quote by Eklispe>

You lied to me! o(╥﹏╥)o

This is actually why I'm excited about the rescue mission. The Angels could slip in undetected everything going perfect only to get to Miyu and find out she doesn't want to leave. Character drama unfolds and in the end they have to leave with only one of the two they came for.

Hey, want to do an upgrades/hanging out/repairing the wall montage collab?

We'll need some sick montage music to go with it.
I'm still around!

THINK? There's no "thinking" around here. You're not the real NarayanK at all!

Omega

It wasn’t hard to locate Iona, and upon arriving it was clear she knew they’d be coming to her. Before Omega could even say hello she began giving them all the information they needed; along with the name of another individual who would join them. Omega tipped his hat to the archangel, ”Much obliged, Iona. Rest assured we’ll have them out in no time.” the spirit said as he attempted to depart only to find his exit cut off by a snake woman who had somehow snuck up on the group. She wasted no time in explaining her presence suggesting they would be better off trying to negotiate with the demons rather than launch their rescue mission.

Resting his hands on his belt and looking straight at the half serpent Omega replied with his usual calm western voice, ”With all due respect, ma’am, I’ve more than considered diplomacy. But I faced this demon in question and let me tell you; from where I’m standing we’re in no position to offer a deal. In one battle alone I saw him use all sorts of weaponry ranging from a sniper to all sorts of magical weapons and that’s not counting the many explosives he tried, so I don’t think he’s hurting for any new gear. And if he won’t take any equipment what are we left with? We don’t have any prisoners to trade and there ain’t no service we could offer that he couldn’t force Miyu to do already, so I don’t rightly see how we could get him to hand her over.”

Omega began pacing around Ananta and continued expressing his doubts, ”But that’s just one. In case you weren’t aware we’re out to rescue another angel as well; Diana. Now while she is currently sitting in Henry’s castle, she ain’t his to trade, she was captured by the vampire Victoire. Now, I’ll admit, I haven’t even laid eyes on her before let alone faced her head on, but I think we’re all aware of the rumors. I don’t know about you, but I can’t come up with one thing she’d love more than having a live sex doll, which means once again we don’t have any footing in opening negotiations.”

”So, while I appreciate you trying to help, unless you know something I don’t or have overlooked, I suggest you mosey along and let us go about our plan dangerous it may be.” Omega stopped back where he had started keeping a firm gaze with the half serpent. Though he showed little emotion in his words, deep down he hoped she did have something to offer as the chance of negotiation was still much more appealing than busting the door in.

But worst of all was the lingering feeling that she could be right about Miyu. The angel always did enjoy technology and other non angelic items. Her being suade to the enemy team was not out of the realm of possibility.

Balrog

Balrog almost laughed at Henry’s pitiful threats, but even the most simple minded demons understood the rules of respecting other demon’s “property” and moved his arm away from Miyu. Almost immediately after Sliske slapped the angel which made Balrog smile a little as all violence towards the holy beings did.

Much to Balrog’s surprise, the angel appeared neither frightened or intimidated by the towering beast asking for help while also offering to do maintenance and even upgrade some of his mechanical parts. Henry himself even agreed with her reminding Balrog he did owe him for breaking the doorway. Though still hesitant about the situation as a whole, it was hard to argue that his equipment was still in good shape since hell didn’t exactly have a mechanic on hand for routine check ups.

With a low growl and a nod Balrog agreed, ”What you want Balrog do?”

Jessi

Watching Chen dispatch a mercenary as well, Jessi tossed him a thumbs up; he was starting to warm to the icy rebel. But as the warring woods showed once again, there was little time for anything but fighting. Moments after finishing off the mercenaries, Jessi heard the ruffling of foliage nearby. By the time he realized it was another attack, the enemy fey had already descended upon them firing a wave of arrows. Fei burned off the body of the arrows, the tips were still in flight and headed straight at them.

Jessi watched closely as the arrows heads closed the distance. Thanks again to his tomes abilities, Jessi could see and time each arrow head perfectly avoiding each one with minimal effort. Oddly as each tip passed, Jessi’s arm seemed to shoot out as if he were shooing a fly at the same time; A strange action that would soon make sense.

Drawing closer the fey traded their bows for obviously poisoned swords ready to make this a quick fight. But to the group's surprise the approaching fey halted in fear at the sight of Si exchanging whispers of “The White Death”. Fei looked at Jessi confused at what she heard. He simply gave her an almost uncaring shrug. While it was annoying, he was starting to get used to being kept in the dark about things. Their questions for this would need to come later as the fey commander had rallied his squad back into action and they continued their advancement.

Either out of prejudice towards the Imperial army or from assuming he was the bigger threat, the majority of the fey surrounded Jessi; a total of four out of the original eight. Jessi chuckled a little flattered the fey though they needed this many to take him on. Unfortunately for them, they would still need more as the crafty warrior had a trick up his sleeve.

Instead of simply dodging the arrows heads from earlier, Jessi had caught them, and now had one between each of his fingers. The fey would learn this all too late as Jessi acted first, spinning and throwing the first arrow head behind him, tearing into the elf’s necks dropping him instantly. Bringing his arm back around he launched the remaining two into the front elf’s eyes. The fey screamed as blood poured down his face him too dropping to the ground.

Trying to get the better of him, the two remaining fey flanked and attacked at once both running full speed at the soldier. Just like back in Exilia, Jessi held still and listened for each step, deducing which one was moving just slightly faster and engaging him first. Shifting Jessi rammed his spear through the fey’s stomach and with the few moments he had left pulled him around and flung the horrified fey into the charging partner. The two crashed into a nearby ice sculpture Chen had made out of another fey.

With that encounter finished the group moved forward though Jessi couldn’t help but notice Fei was walking funny, like she had a limp. ”Hey, princess, is everything alright? You seem to be-” He failed to finish his thought upon entering the clearing as scanning the ensuing battle, Jessi noticed none other than Tegonay Sidonius. ”You’re kidding! How the hell did he survive?” Jessi was in disbelief but couldn’t deny that his rival was standing right there.

Though he wanted to rush in and challenge the knight once more, Jessi realized Fei was not well. She had gone completely pale and it was painfully obvious she was struggling to stand. Glancing her over, Jessi almost immediately saw the cut on her leg and it didn’t take long to put two and two together. ”Oh shit, Fei!” Jessi practically leaped to her side holding her steady while being ready to catch her if she collapsed. ”Please tell me one of you has an antidote or knows some sort of spell for this.” He asked the others in a panic.
