Current First post after nearly a month of inactivity. Here's hoping I can get back into a good post routine before long.

Thanks to having to move earlier this year, I finally get to experience snow for the first time since my early childhood. It's absolutely wonderful :)

RP’s that amass a good player base and have a good start only to suddenly die are why I have trust issues.

Omega

Despite the faint glow that radiated off of Omega, the thick growth of the forest allowed to cowboy to hide almost completely from sight. Now the only question was if the Machina followed him or went off to fight a different target. Gripping his pistols tight he began to give them a charge while anticipating the enemy's arrival.

His wait would not be in vain, as after only a few moments the sound of a thruster could be heard at the tree line before being replaced by the sound of leaves and twigs being crushed beneath her boots. Holding his position, Omega listened as the Machina questioned why someone with a cowboy motif wasn’t aligned with them. Of course he had an answer, but giving it now would reveal him and surprise was his biggest advantage at that moment.

Once the approaching steps were right next to him, the spirit pounced. Springing from his hiding spot Omega drove his revolver blades toward Tatiana’s chest. Once they either made contact or were blocked, Omega replied to the earlier question. ”You’d think. But I much more prefer the home team. Besides, as I hear y’all already have a spirit on your side. My addition would just be redundant at that point.”

Focused on the duel, the witty cowboy failed to notice the rosey mist lingering at the edge of the forest, nor the flames that followed.

Balrog

Though his initial idea worked in keeping the first chainsaw away, Balrog soon learned that there was more where that came from and he was far from prepared. In the instance the titans clashed Graf brought down a second chainsaw directly on Balrog’s machine gun arm. He could do nothing but watch as the saw cut deeper and deeper into the gun before he decided he had to fire back. Unloading with the busted gun proved effective in breaking the saw’s chain, but the damage done from the saw plus the inevitable backfire rendered the gun completely inoperable.

It was for naught it seemed as Graf had even more chainsaws ready to go, and they all began to slice at Balrog each cutting deeper into his armor. To make matters worse, Balrog’s thrusters lacked the strength to counter Graf as he forced Balrog down aiming to smash him to the ground. It seemed the demon’s only option was to use his missiles, but doing so at this range would almost assure his own destruction.

Things seemed bleak, until a familiar red mist began to envelope the air. Thanks to his demonic nature, Balrog was left unaffected while Graf began to feel the sting of the acid. This was his chance to try something crazy. Ripping his flails off of the first chainsaw, Balrog engaged his thrusters, but instead of fighting Graf’s, pointed them to the right. Simultaneously, he fired several rockets the same direction to give him some extra push.

The thrust was just enough to push Balrog out of the way while Graf continued on his path to the mountain. No longer toe to toe, there was no danger in using the missiles. “You want body back? HERE! HAVE MISSILES FIRST!” Balrog yelled as he unleashed a barrage on Graf.

The Angels have anti-flashing magic. It's pretty handy.

They also have anti-upskirt magic too.

Is this the same kind of magic that makes steam clouds in baths float in just the right place to cover people up? Because I feel like they're at least from the same school of magic.
<Snipped quote by Awesomoman64>

Well, the demons came and went out before he could even react, it seems. The only problem left behind was Victoire's roses, which should be deadly to Omega, given that they are magical in nature. Also, the cloud should be blocking his sight at longer ranges. This is likely going to be an advantage for @Flamelord Tatiana, supposing that she survives the poison long enough to down Omega.

As For Balrog, you can always free him by throwing Graf away, and let he be killed by the roses, which shouldn't take too long given that he's a Machina. Then, find someone else to engage, like Marquis or Zac, or Bonesword, who should all be kind of within his range, since the roses don't hinder other demons, only the fog. Not that I think that fog is a problem for Balrog.

For the last statement? Why do you even care?

They did didn't they? Alright maybe I'll just have him ignore them and continue the fight with Tatiana.

If it comes to that I will. Just been really looking forward to the Graf V Balrog fight so I'd hate to end that prematurely.

As for the OOC, as much as we shit post, there is also important information I don't want to miss out on.
@The 42nd Gecko

Planing out what Omega should do since demons have invaded the duel.

Waiting on @Lucius Cypher for Balrog.

And, most of all, trying and failing to keep up with the OOC.
Because I was bored, a cuck, and somewhat feel that others think this battle may have gone too long and/or some don't think it's visceral enough, I've found a website that uses RNG to emulate a Hunger Game scenario.

Here is the images of the result made from my phone.

I didn't bother keeping track of how many people were on each of the three factions, though I estimate that each side should have roughly six. I chose at least one character from each active player at the moment, picking ones who I feel are most iconic, and to fill in extra space I chose a second character from those who have more than one. The prompt of this battle is last man standing, so that even those on the same faction will at some point have to kill each other in order to win victory for their faction and themselves.

"Balrog steals from Alexi while she isn't looking"

How? How did she not see/hear/feel the biggest demon unit walk up and take shit?

This was actually really entertaining. Especially with the commentary you added.

Angus MacCallum

As far as he could tell, Angus had yet to be seen by Dana or any of the other ladies. Just as he let out a small sigh thinking he had been successful, a voice sounded behind him. Completely taken by surprise Angus practically had a red exclamation appear above his head. He hadn’t been expecting some random person to see him let alone confront him about "spying". Either way he had to act fast before anyone else noticed the scene.

”Wha-? Hey! Get down will ya?” Angus whispered as he reached over to Emma’s arm and pulled her down behind the trash with him. ”I’m not spying. I’m hiding.” He motioned for her to follow as he peeked out from the side of the trash. ”See the blonde? A real loon that one. Been running into her and a friend of her’s all weekend and every time the occurrence something stranger. I assume you’re aware of what just went on in DGO, so I hope you’ll understand I’m in no mood to deal with-”

Before he could finish the words, Dana suddenly turned to Angus making direct eye contact. It was like something out of a horror movie, the way she gave a sharp maniacal upon seeing him. Panicking Angus quickly ducked back behind the trash despite the fact he knew the jig was up. ”Ah hell. She’s spotted me.”

@Flamelord

Hopefully we still get to answer the question of who would win in a fight between a ghost cowboy or a clone trooper?
<Snipped quote by Awesomoman64>

Does Disruption work on Gold and Silver Eyes? Because that's pretty damn powerful if so.

<Snipped quote by floodtalon>

This is why I said that there are things and beings it won't work on. Things like True Eyes won't likely be affect by it, but for example Henry's other powers would. As far as I understand up to now.

@TheWindel May have more to say on it, though.

Pretty much this. Henry would lose his gates and everything else like that, but anything with his eyes I would say functions on a different level and therefore wouldn't be effected. But ultimately the GM's have the final say on this.

<Snipped quote by Awesomoman64>

Don't know if Graf will see him as an ally or a rival. Or rather, his favorite enemy.

Frenemies?
<Snipped quote by Awesomoman64>

Not bad. I think he's mostly ok. In fact the powers he have will be useful for when the story progresses a bit more. It would be cooler if his halberd had some form of additional weaponry, like being a chainsaw with a Machina level shotgun or flame thrower or cannon, etc on it, though.

As is, he's ok by me. Wait for further judgment from @TheWindel. Also, mind that his ability to negate magic might fail on certain beings.

Totally going to add flamethrower attachment now. (Ooo or maybe like a plasma blade!)

Oh yeah. I don't expect him to just waltz up to the likes of Hohenheim and shut them down. It's most for combatants and other players. (And whenever the plot demands it.)
