While many were eager to throw attacks at their teacher, Ethan was among the few hesitating to do so. It wasn’t so much he was afraid of hurting Manilow as he was clearly prepared for this kind of activity, but he wasn’t sure exactly how he could help. Manilow had no trouble dodging projectiles even with such impairments as electricity and ice, and him being on metal bleachers meant he wasn’t vulnerable to many earth hazards. Well, a tremor might do the trick, but that would be a little too extreme, right?
Wrong.
Not only did one of the students do just that, but Dia was creating a massive cold zone with Felix acting as a heat lamp of safety for those near him. Yet even with his giant flame, Felix was only the second most heated thing there. A new girl had come into play making the worst of all first impressions by insulting everyone there including the teacher. She was quickly met with harsh words from the other students, and one even grabbed her and threatened violence! Was Manilow just going to let this happen?
Looking away from the fight to the bleachers, Ethan realized Manilow was still preoccupied dodging the students attempts to knock him down, this time with much difficulty due to a rain cloud...Wait. Rain? Oh no. Ethan’s eyes darted from the cloud to Dia still freezing everything around her, to Felix creating a hotspot, back to the cloud. A mix of extreme hot and cold with moisture in the air meant they were only missing one ingredient for this place to become a literal tornado; strong winds.
“Kanako! Do not use any wind!” Ethan yelled without even thinking. He wasn’t sure how powerful his classmate was, but with how things were looking this was not the time to find out. Right now it was time for Manilow to get off the bleachers and tend to his students. Using the opportunity given by the other’s, Ethan ripped a good sized rock out of the earth hurled it towards Manilow’s legs. With any luck, it would be just enough to make him fall, or at least take notice of what was happening.
