Current Star Wars Persistent World, that was a thing that was sort of a thing. Kind of.

LongSword is objectively the best main. Objectively.

The ones from Calle are usually monthly. I tried to start another one a few years back.

If you feel like you need help no shame in going out there and getting it. Take care of yourself.

I think you can develop a flair. A personal style. Words and phrases you like. That's why I don't get using Grammarly for word suggestions.

Do you have certain genres you like to write in or character types you like to portray? You mentioned you like shades of grey do you have tones you would prefer?

There's usually a pretty good mix of light hearted, neutral, and grim dark here.

The joke is techno-viking
I suggest you use the Note Part to notate if it's an Attack Roll or a Damage Roll and maybe also if it's a roll with certain advantages. Makes it easier for you and the GM
If you look at that thing Yankee posted check out the Presentation for GMs and RPers - Interest Checks - Bango Says line.

I list a few really really good Interest Checks and OOC opening posts from RPG. Poohead, Stormflyx, JB, HaleyTheRandom (has a ridiculously good Character sheet template), and then myself because who doesn't love a bit of self promotion.

Be sure to like and subscribe and click the little bell icon and sign up for Raid Shadow Legends using the code HalflingsRock.
I'm talking with staff about starting a monthly writing contest with a new prompt every month. I think the key to it depends on what you're aiming for. How much of the idea you have formed already and how much you're open to changes.

If it's a prompt that you have a lot written up already I think it's best to make clear that not everything is up in the air. If more is open it's good to make that clear and make the prompt relatively succinct. I favor a word to convey a theme or setting or subject matter and then a couple sentences to make it clear what your limits are.

Writing Prompt : Aspirations

Long term goals, things you wish to be. Might be nearly in your grasps or something you almost surely will never accomplish but damned if you're not going to try. Love, wealth, power, fame, freedom, recognition, mastery of a skill or trade.
I started doing role play more in the early 2000s after Morrowind, but I did kind of roleplay when I was a wee little shit of 13/14 on Battle.net or BattleNet or whatever they called the Diablo/Diablo 2 internet thing.

I RPed a big dumb ass Warrior/Barbarian. Like a "Grog encounter new mysterious man with glowing eldritch orb. Grog smash man with shiny ball until ball all wet and slippery."

I probably used the word eldritch back then too. Was way into horror novels. Stephen King, that guy who wrote Necroscape, Clive Barker, Lovecraft.
"I ken only cast the one spell right now," the Halfling replied trying to restrain the poo demon he was battling mightily, "and ah reckon ye already know that one."

Through a complicated series of careful movements he wiped the sweat from his brow then covered himself with one hand while pointing up with the other.

"Ye'er a few floors short of the teachin' still lass. Keep goin."

He turns away to get back in the fight, before turning back to the giant woman "But close the door first fer fooks sake!"
