"Iggy is probably wondering where I am. Your Lydia must be worried you didn't come home." Ash replied as they took hold of his arm gently. "I did have a great time, darling. We should do it again."
"Aww, you guys! Come here you cinnamon rolls!" Lydia exclaimed before hugging both of them. She was going to really miss these guys but time flew quickly in the Netherworld. She'd be back in a heartbeat. "I'll be back before Halloween!" She smiled before disappearing.
She appeared before Miss Argentina, smiling nervously. "Hey, Tina. I know I don't have an appointment but-"
Ash appeared around the corner, holding onto the severed arm as blood dripped from their fangs. "Leave this place or suffer the curse!" Ash wailed in a ghostly demonic voice as it grabbed Beetlejuice, dragging him back to a gruesome, inevitable death.
The kids took off shrieking like banshees as they fled, roaches when the lights turned on. Ash cackled with laughter.
"Halloween sounds great. We can throw a party and scare people! But not to death, just enough to scare them." She grinned, feeling a little awkward before trying to hug him only to phase through him. "Oh, right, ghost." She chuckled.
"I love it. Besides, what's better than one slashing poltergeist swamp monster?" Ash replied as they shifted into just that, dawning sharp fangs and claws.
The kids soon walked in, foolishly thinking they were safe in daylight.
Lydia chuckled softly, snapping her fingers as the body disappeared. "For the record, that really fucking hurt." She said before rubbing the back of her neck. "I was also thinking that...maybe I should head back home. Talk with Dad and Delia about how I feel. Maybe see my dead therapist too."
"I think it should start in the cabin before turning towards the woods. Send them screaming back to their cars ,maybe chase them a little." Ash replied
Lydia hopped off Sandy, giving her a pat before sending her home. She looked sheepishly at him and the Maitlands. "Yeah...I...uh...Look, what I did was messed up, I admit that. But being alive for those few seconds made me appreciate life more. What I'm saying is...I'm sorry. For-For everything. Think you guys can forgive me?"
"I suppose we must." They sighed softly before looking up at him. "Ooor, we could scare off a few more before heading home." They smirked, knowing it was a little tempting.
THUD! Something big hit the wall, causing the plaster and woodwork to crack. THUD! THUD! THUD! Three more rang out before the wall finally broke, a large black and white snake like creature that had a second face under the first appeared with a roar. Upon its back was a familiar face.
"YEE-HAW! Sic 'er, Big Sandy!" Lydia shouted, dressed in full cowgirl attire as she held onto the Sandworm. Sandy roared again before going after Lawrence's mother.
