Charlie nodded in agreement as she followed her friend, her instincts on high alert. She couldn't figure out why, perhaps because of her mutation that wasn't as easy to conceal as Jen's. She looked up upon hearing Jen spot April, running after her. She just hoped they could get her before she got onto a train herself.

"It's too quiet." She noticed as they descended the stairs into the underground world below. She didn't like it at all, her fight or flight response kicking into high gear.

Name: Maxine "Max" Walters
Alias: Soundwave
Image/Description: attached picture
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Race: Meta human
Alignment: Neutral
Sexuality: Bi
Mentor: Mix of scientific experiments and self taught
Skills/Meta Abilities: able to manipulate sound frequencies. Can make a snap become deafening, block all sound around a person or area, even to the point of basically muting someone all within a fifteen foot circumference from herself
Personality: comes off intimidating, sarcastic, laid back attitude, very defensive when someone tries to corner or trap her, doesn't really open up to others
Likes: rock music specifically 80s rock, vinyl records, bass guitars, drums
Dislikes: soundproof rooms, being labeled as "the bad guy"
Backstory: Max grew up in a broken home where music was her only escape. When her drunken father went to attack her, she yelled at him to leave her alone, sending him flying through the wall into the yard. She was taken away by an unknown research lab who ran countless tests on her to see her abilities. Finally frustrated by being trapped in a soundproof room and experimented on like a lab rat, Max escaped the facility never to look back. She changed her name and appearance so they'd never find her. She eventually made it to Jump City in hopes of making a new life for herself.
"Fair point." Charlie sighed softly before looking at her. "Well, I'm ready to go if you are." She said before heading towards door.

Once outside she stayed close to Jen, not wanting to get lost nor have her bracelet accidentally taken off when walking past people. "You'd think they'd be more alert when walking around with a threat on the streets."
"Sounds good to me. These guys aren't going to help, we might as well." Charlie replied as she got up to take care of her dishes. She then got to thinking about the guy who stopped her last night and if he was part of it. No, he couldn't be. He wouldn't have left her bracelet behind if he was with them.

She sighed softly before glancing at her roommate. "Do you think we'll ever have a normal life being what we are?" She asked
"He's sooo not happy with her. You can see it in his eyes. Body language too." Charlie said as she ate her breakfast. She had gotten up early despite her midnight swim which was oddly normal for her. Well, since her change that is.

"Honestly, I'd vote for her a mayor or something like that." She said before eating a spoonful of cereal. "She'd clean up this town." She added.
"Right." Evie replied with a nod. She just hoped she'd be able to identify something and not let the boys down. Then again she was still learning about her family business. She sighed softly before glancing out the window at the passing scenery.

Upon arriving at the city and getting a room, Evie assured them she'd be fine alone while they grabbed food. "I'll call Cas if I don't feel safe. Besides, you wanted me to look into this." She said.

Hi! Metronome told me about this roleplay and I'm so in! I'll pm my character when I get home
Evie smiled before thanking the older hunter for the gifts, giving him a wave as they drove off. She knew she'd probably wouldn't be out in the field with the brothers but it didn't bother her too much. She wasn't fully prepared for a fight yet.

"So what do you think it is?" She asked about two to three hours into the drive.

"Could be demons, but they usually send hellhounds to collect the soul." Sam replied, remembering how Dean had been mauled before him two years ago by a pack of hellhounds. He'd never be rid of that memory no matter how hard he wanted to forget.
Evie nodded in reply, now less on edge once it was explained what was going on. At least this would be helpful in the long run should someone pull a knife or dagger on her. She watched as the brothers showed one demonstration, keeping a close eye on the hand movements as they did. Once Sam had the knife again, he walked over to Evie to show her how.

She proved to be a fast learner, making a few mistakes here and there but soon getting the hang of it. She soon learned how to disarm and get the blade in different scenarios, ending one practice where there was one near her throat. She smiled proudly as she held the blade after disarming Dean. She felt ready to take on anything.
"No promises." Evie giggled in reply, smiling at the older hunter. She liked this new family of hers, feeling safe and a little normal for once. They looked passed her family name and only saw who she really was. It was nice for a change.

Once finished with breakfast, she helped with dishes before heading outside with the three of them. She was still curious as to what training they'd be teaching her. She took a step back when Sam produced a knife, handing it over to Dean. What was going on?
