From all around the room noises of disapproval and condemnation made themselves known at Sinfield's outburst. He wheeled around, cloak fanning about him as he turned to face his detractors.

He blinked staring down at his small Master as she brandished her Command Spells at him and demanded he stand down. Opposite her the Master of the Golden Servant was even more strident, drawing a massive weapon that made him do a double take despite himself. It looked like nothing so much as an enormous hunk of raw stone, a weapon more fitting for a Jotun than a slender Magi with milk white skin. Despite its size she swung it with commendable speed and smashed one of the nearby tables to kindling.

Whoever this witch was she then completely ruined her impressive introduction by making some kind of troublesome shrill noise regarding his reasons for being here.

It was the narrow eyed look of disdain that the beautiful shieldmaiden was giving him that cinched his social defeat however. Looking from one of his critics to the other he wavered for a moment... and then broke.

"Bah!" He gave the entire room a dismissive wave and strode away from the table, slumping into one of the nearby benches and planting his feet in a wide stance before him. Slowly the tension in his shoulders eased, though his expression remained foul. If he felt at all ashamed of his outburst he gave little sign and less apology.

"Go on then Maiden, try his arm if you will. Or let us be done with this contest and try another! Unless you would all rather stand there gawking."

He leaned backwards to look at her directly and scowled harder when he saw that she had shed her physical form.

"Are you leaving so soon? We've hardly even begun!"
Also good.

@PKMNB0Y If you dont mind, im going to short post for Sinfjotli, maybe we can get a round of them going and get this competition underway. btw, roughly speaking how long do our characters have before Zeldrech shuts down the festivitys and declares the first objective?
we might try to plan out an exchange since what would work well here is a back and forth between all three of them instead of isolated posts covering a lot from one person's perspective...

Its harder to do multi character dialogue in this format, and takes a lot longer.

Okay, for the Arm wrestling love triangle whose post is it now?
bloody long ass painting project on my end :(
yo fiddle hows it going?
@KoL Some personal skills do seem to be largely cosmetic, basically just there to emphasize a certain point of the Servants legend. For wrestling and other skill based things though maybe it will work.

Also you may be able to use it to overtake such things as Phantasmal Beasts, which is very useful.
@KoL Alrighty then. At some point we will have a right propa footrace though.

For Walgrave, fair enough. At this early point in the story Walgrave has no way of even remotely suspecting that Atlanta has his number already, so, depending on how early she tries to off him I may try to do a 'Sheer blind luck' event to have him survive the first attempt. Depending on how plausible it is of course. Otherwises he's pretty much a sitting duck until he has some reason to suspect that someone is actively targeting him.

So, what is the verdict here? Does Last Spurt give Atlanta greater strength in this situation or not? I'm fine with it bringing her up to B for this upcoming contest. Maybe we should flip a coin for who actually wins though or something?

@KoL
So my question for Atlanta deciding to whack Walgrave; from listening in to that conversation most of it was predicting that other people would at a latter point start betraying and that they should prepare for that day. Now obviously he comes off as a total shyster, and strongly implies that he will start assassinating people also. A lot of what he said though I think was pretty reasonable for someone who has no reason to suspect that most of the people around them are actually pretty decent.

Atlanta herself really does not have much reason to trust anyone in the room. Walgrave tells about how Zelretch has a reputation for crippling people he works with, and Montag finds this point plausible and agrees to his basic proposal in the end. That should be a red flag that at least some of what he said had merit.

Anyway, my specific question is, wouldn't listening in on that conversation induce more of a general suspicion on everyone present? With a focus on Walgrave, Montag and Zelretch yeah, but still everyone else as well. Plus Atlanta knows that Medea is in the house. The one she had a worried reaction to earlier. Shouldn't she be just as if not more concerned about her?

In the past twenty minutes or so Atlanta has run into or heard about 6 difrent possible traitors. Zeldrech, Medea, Walgrave, Montag and both their Servants. Before too long she is going to learn that Medea has taken Diarmuid for herself, so make that 7. If she is resolved to kill anyone who is a threat to the mission shouldn't she be making a huge hit list at this point? Probably with Medea at the top of it?

Seems just a tad early to resolve that Walgrave is the number one target here.
@KoL Alrighty wunderbar. Still a few questions, but again I'm on a phone.

For Last Spurt its a weird situation for it. We do know that Servant Skills can be quite potent especially legend specific ones. This is a stretch application for it though, and she is a long way behind Sinfijolti not to mention Kintoki. I'm not even sure I concede out of hand that she would beat Sinfi, though it might be very close... two full strength ranks is a lot to gulf.
