I can't be the only one who feels patronized when someone calls me "buddy", right?

Word of advice: forums may not be the best place to look for significant others. Met my first girlfriend on a forum, and now I would give my left nut to forget her.

Got a couple of RPs started and in the works, but I think I can take on one or two more partners.
@Breezi Oh a familiar face! I think I've seen you around Umbra. Welcome to the Guild
Bumpito. Lewd or not, I'd like to get into writing some 1x1s.
Yoshinaga glanced around. The seats were suspiciously empty, as if everyone else had left in a big hurry... well, empty except for a few people with their heads at unnatural angles. She moved towards the voice. "I can't see out of one eye and I feel like I was used as a chew toy by the world's largest dog," she replied, "but I'm alive. Doesn't feel like anything's broken, anyways." Her vision was adjusting to the relative darkness of the cabin. It was another young woman, perhaps a few years younger than Koi.

"You okay? Where is everyone?" Yoshinaga was beginning to think more clearly now. She was processing all the information she could process at the moment.

She had been on a flight from Guam to Japan.

There had been turbulence, almost out of the blue.

Everything went dark.

Something knocked her out.

The plane had crashed somewhere, and now there weren't any other living people around. Just her and this other woman.
Sorry for the delay. I'll get a reply up this weekend.

Age: 24
Appearance: Koi is of average build, and slightly above average height for a woman of her nationality. She has several scars on her body, as well as a tattoo of a cartoon rabbit on her right shoulder blade.
Occupation: Assistant professor at the National Museum of Nature and Science
Personality: A quiet, tomboyish young lady, she's always taken her work in the field of paleontology very seriously. Her knowledge of dinosaurs and other prehistoric life is second to none. She is by no means a leader, but she's a team player. She's quite skilled with computers, though odds are she'll use her expertise for her own amusement.
Biography: Born and raised Sakata, Yamagata, Yoshinaga Koi has always had an affinity for monster media and animals, which led her to study in the field of paleontology. Growing up she only had a few close friends, but she never really minded, always finding happiness spending time pet-sitting or volunteering at animal shelters. She's always been close to her sisters, though the three of them couldn't be more different. She studied abroad in the United States, and still has good friends who live there. Recently visited Guam on a short vacation.
Their Secret: Yoshinaga's trip to Guam wasn't strictly a vacation. She was contacted by an old classmate who had found something on a dig that he wanted to share. However, she stole the item, and is taking it back to Japan to claim the credit for herself.
Other Important Information: - Fluent in English on a conversational level
- The middle child in her family
- Though she hasn't trained in self-defense, she's capable of holding her own in a fight
- Koi loves animals, though she has a soft spot for small, fluffy creatures
- Though scientifically-minded, she does believe in concepts like spirits and souls
- If she's comfortable with someone, she'll often tease them

"Something is happening in the sky... The sky is opening up-!"

On May 16th, 2020, all contact was lost with Yamada Airlines Flight 217. The plane, a passenger flight traveling from Guam to Tokyo, reported a loss of power and altitude before going radio silent. After months of searching, nothing was found. No wreckage, no bodies, no survivors. It was as if the Flight had simply vanished into thin air. Rumors circulated, with one name consistently popping up in conspiracy circles.

The Devil's Sea.

Records showed that Flight 217's trajectory projected the airliner flying through the region. With a reputation akin to the Bermuda Triangle, stories had circulated about the Devil's Sea for decades: disappearing ships, mysterious lights, strange beasts seen by seafarers. But that's just an urban legend.

... Right?
