Bugcatcher was just closing the back doors for the last section of the hack. Always get out. ALWAYS. That was one of the first rules of Hacking. After you get in you get out and close all evidence you were there. Reroutes and links were fine, but if you got into a system you needed to get out and erase any evidence you were there. He growled though when he heard the new orders, "Fuck...I could have used those...I still have Tokyo and Greece though..."

He bent back over his bank of keyboards. His fingers began to fly. He never heard from Kingmaker if he could use the Hackers Fifth Freedom, but this called for measures that needed to happen NOW. So he reached into a small drawer and pulled out a flash drive it looked innocent enough except for the nuclear material symbol painted onto the side of it. He plugged that into one of his towers. And opened up the folder. Inside, six files, each with the simple name of "Nuke". He opened one, and activated the program. A second later, he called out, "I'm in! I've got cameras for Banks, Monument, Post, Mansion House and Bishops. I needed to use a Nuke to do it. But I'm in. The guys train should be arriving shortly." He pulled up a picture of the man on another screen, a picture he got from another camera at the scene of the incident, "Hoodie...looks purple...there's a symbol on the front...looks like...a...crescent moon...okay...dark colored pants...and what look like swat boots. Okay..."

He turned back, "Guys. Get your butts in gear." he looked at one of the screens as a train arrived, "not our train...but it should be coming soon. Hurry up!" He linked the analysts in with his feed, "Bugcatcher to section intel. I have feeds for your people. The more eyes the better." He watched a second train come in and checked the schedule, "There are only a few more trains left over for the time frame the guy got on..." his eyes glued to the screens watching closely.
Drevan rolled his wrists as he sat at his computers nodding, "Okay I'm going to start clearing my links then. Get out of the systems I'm in and close any back doors." As he began to do that he heard the orders to have something ready to get doors open to get Libby and the rest out of there. He left a few links in to do so. In the meantime he retracted links and lines into systems on another monitor.

It wasn't until he was about half done and had all this links to Mumbai, Istanbul and a tiny little server room somewhere in the Ukraine, no idea why it was inside the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, he never asked when he was given the address. But it wasn't until he was half done when he heard he would need to do one hell of a hack. He leaned over listening carefully to what's being said, and the small remote hack he still had going on, on all the teams phones letting him hear both ends. by the time Martin/Kingmaker turned to him he'd started to reroute links again, hitting that little server hut in the Ukraine, almost DDoSed a computer Cafe in Singapore and more or less shut a South Korean computer cafe entirely. He still had links up and running in Canada, the USA, and in Australia that would do.

He nodded as Martin filled him in. "That's going to be in the list of Hacks of Hacks boss. Do I have permission to use the Hackers Fifth Freedom? I may have to go Blackhat with this." While he waited for an affirmation on that he got started on the foundation for the hack. He pulled off his hoodie and sat only in his shirt. He didn't want to be confined. "I'll start by working backwards, as well as forwards. From where he was last seen, and how he got there, then forward at the same time, to see where he went. Something will have picked him up on the way. CCTV, a selfie, he may even have paid for something with a card somewhere. I'll find it."

his fingers flew, shifting his focus from monitor to monitor, coding one handed in several instances, showing off an interesting ability to multitask. He turned sharply at one point and hit a single key on one of his keyboards, "Doors open, Cavalier. Bollards are on a offset 2 minute counter. More then likely going up as you pass them. Traffic barriers are also timed for when you need to pass them. I need to focus on something else guys. You're on your own from here."

He switched back to the dig hack. he licked his lips as he got his first hit, "Okay, got him at the plaza. Two...no four CCTV cameras in the area, three got a good look at him. The fourth has a couple of partials..." He started cycling back on the three cameras that got good looks on him, "Thank god for wireless networks. The Cameras were sending to servers that have internet links. I can see their archives. Three of his monitors started looking through the histories, while three more cycled through forward from the time of the incident. He stopped one of the views, "Okay. Got another sighting, I think this is about...27 minutes before the incident. He was roaming...waiting for us..." He went back further. Meanwhile another camera spotted him just before the explosion and moments before he fried his controller, "He's wearing...a...deep hoodie...but he's got a tote bag that is...holding the drone and the controller...it's not a controller...it's a tablet...with a wireless adaptor." Drevan grins, "Okay...that makes things a little easier. I wasn't able to burn it out before...but maybe I can get something off it. let's see...did he leave it behind or take it with him."

Drevan continued to cycle through the recording, "There he is just as I shorted him out...and one of the cameras shows his entering the plaza...and...nothing on him leaving yet...but...let's see...where is the tablet." He kept looking, "I need a live feed." He started to dig again, "Come on. Give me something to work with here." It came from the final camera, "He took it with him. And it's working you can see the screen is on in the recording." He grinned brightly, "Give me a few minutes...if he's still using it, and he's in the city and near a wireless network I can find him." He started to click clack away madly.
The jeep flipped, sliding coming to a stop on the road. As soon as it did Markus pulled the land rover up beside it. He pulled himself out of the car, his USP tucked up close to his chest, aimed down so as to reduce the chance of a misfire. He waited for the back to be opened and ducked away as the driver pulled a Makarov. Markus' round took him in the head. Eric grinned, then clambered in, cutting the commanders belt with his knife then dragged the man out. He tossed the man face first out on the road, He slammed his boot down on the mans back, kneeling down and pressing his USP's barrel to the back of his head, "Yeah yeah, you're a powerful man, have a number of men at your command, but at the moment the biggest worry is the two back in the base, who are quite busy, and your driver is starting to cool already. So it's just you." Markus brough out some zipties, around the wrists, secured as they are going to get him.

he helped pull the man to his feet. And was none to gentle as they tossed him into the back. Eric may have gone out of his way to slam the man's head against the door frame before shoving him inside. Once secured he got in with him in the back. Grabbing his rifle, checking that he had a round chambered. As they started to roll the HVT made a move, and Eric headbutted him right above the bridge of the nose, "Oh no, you don't get to do something stupid like that. you get two strikes, try one more time and I'll put you down again, after that I don't mind putting a bullet somewhere that will make you think hard."

They started to roll Markus turned in the back seat to look out the back window, "Let's get out of here man." As they sped up he looked down through the scope on his rifle nodding, "Oh yeah looks like clean up back at the outpost is done. There's another big land rover moving way back there." They felt it more then heard it, and saw the smoke as something that let off thick black smoke went off around the bend in the road. He looked at the HVT who was still a little dazed, "Your boys are sloppy." He half crawled into the back of the Land Rover, mounting his rifle on the spare tire in the back, "You drive man, I'll deal with these guys...but...hand me your AR. If things go shit creek we may need something that pissed lead over something that fires like a laser." He reached forward as Markus stuffed the AR back. Taking hold of it and bringing it back to him, "Thanks mate!" He sights back in, then muttered, "Oh fuck it..." He squeezed, his rifle letting out a boom, and a round lanced down the way they came, missing the driver and punching a fist sized hole in the front window of the pursuers truck. The driver in the other truck veering off in surprise, "And now they know we have claws. So try something."
Eric had to try just to make sure. He waited for a second, drawing a bead, and squeezed the trigger, thrice. Bang bang bang. The rounds lanced over, down and cut into but didn't puncture the tires. He cursed, "Fuck...had to try." He lowered the rifle, cleared the chamber, sloting the loose round into a pouch then pulled out another magazine. This one was something he picked up from a JTF2 sergeant major some time ago. The old man had been a whiz with all things gunpowder. And he had taught Eric an interesting little trick. These rounds were wildcats, specially made and tooled. The Sergeant Major called them Heavy Hitters. he'd used them before. Alot of times. These things left foot wide craters when they hit concrete or stone. He slotted the new magazine into his rifle. The magazine had a nice image stenciled onto it. The maple leaf, with a face painted onto it, sunglasses over the eyes, and sneering smile and a cigar out of the corner of the mouth, bad ass Canada for you.

He growled then lurched, "Fuck Markus! Miss a bump or ten!" He sighted in again, "okay...keep us steady! I got this." He waited finger tensed on the trigger. It was almost the perfect moment. It was perfect. Perfectly so. He squeezed, once, twice, thrice, four times. And the rounds lanced out. The first one skipped off and punched a 4 inch hole in the back fender of the jeep, the next two rounds kicked into the back right tire. Shredding it. The last round did the impossible it hit the front right tire and blew it out as well. One hell of a lucky shot. He shoved his rifle back into the car and drew his USP off his chest, "Fucker needs to turn! He needs to hit those wheels." He started firing rounds at the jeep trying to get him to dodge.

And again there was another perfect moment. One of his pistol rounds punched through the back window, and blew out the rear view mirror. Bang! The driver swerved and that's how the jeep hit those shredded tires. And turned over hard, onto it's side and began to slide. Eric slammed his hand down on the top of the car, cackling, "Yeah! That's how we do it!" He slide into the car, "Get up there man!"
Drevan winced watching the feed from the cameras he had on each member of the team, and hearing Libbies words and exhalations. He grit his teeth, "Good girl. I know I know, there are no other easy options. Now hold the fuck on!" He reached over and punched in some commands, then blinked, the bucket started to ascend. That was not what he wanted it to do. He had told it to swing back over to the construction site. He wheeled over and pulled out a keyboard, "Shit shit shit...give me a second...hang on Lib...I got ya."

He started coding and hacking, "The ICE kicked back in, it's trying to burn out my code. Just give me..." He typed frantically and maniacly, "I got it...I got it." The console in the crane cab sparked, as the computer in the console fritzed some. Drevan grinned, "Gotcha! You're mine now."

He stopped the bucket from raising up any further, long before it would have banged up against the top of the line, likely hard enough to concuss the poor girl inside. He then started swinging the crane over, and lowering the bucket again, "I got ya. Okay the bucket should settle above a hopper on the other side. Should be nothing in there. You can jump out there. There are four ways out of the construction yard, front gate, back gate, utilities tunnel at the north east corner and what looks like a garbage chute that heads down and out of the yard on the east side. It's yours to decide how to get out of there. I'll lose visuals on you as soon as you're out of the yard though Lib."

He turned, "George, I'd advise getting ready to vacate the mission area. We have alot of heat coming in thanks to that fucking explosion. I'm seeing city police and emergency services rerouting past my blocks in the streets. I'd say a minute before they are on site and working to calm the situation down, but something like this is gonna be seen as a terrorist attack and anyone who even looks remotely at fault of out of place is going to be pulled in." with a click he passed current situation reports onto everyone's cellphones. Not bothering to go into how he just hacked into them remotely to do it. He'd explain that whent he time came. He looked to get some the nod from Martin, "What do you say boss man?"
Just as an aside, I am in the process of writing up a post. I don't think it will end up being very long, but ought to set the tone for my characters.
@BigPapaBelial Basically what happened is that at the wedding of Prince Aemon Targaryen and Julianna Lannister, the Red Keep was attacked and traced back to rebel elements in the Stepstones. Now several characters are on a mission to infiltrate the rebels, the Scorpions, and end their insurgency once and for all. Another rebellion is underway in the Red Mountains, led by the Vulture King, this is more of an overt military campaign. There are also several uprisings from elements claiming to be formerly extinct houses such as the Reynes or Gardeners, religious extremist Sparrows, bandits and outlaws run amok, and the organization of the Mountain Clans in the Vale. There are extensive reports of creature sightings and attacks on the peasantry as well.

Last but not least, there's a big hullabaloo about a possible bastard of the crown prince that may be part of some plot.

If you have any questions about specific details, please feel free to ask.

Thank you. Hmmm okay...I can work with this. I think so anyway. Doesn't look like Braavos or the Iron Islands are directly affected anyway so I think I'm good. I'll see what I can cook up.

Just need to regear my head a little. I've been writing for Modern or Post modern Military and Spy RPs lately. A Fantasy/ASOIAF RP is a little off. Just give me abit.
Eric narrowed his eyes as the heavies stepped out of the jeep, "That explains why the jeep was riding so low. Both of those guys have to be atleast 400 pounds a piece. Armor and weapons all together." He focused in on the one with the beret, reached into a pocket and pulled a digital camera. Setting it ot the eyepiece of his rifle, clicked a zoomed picture of him, before pulling the camera up and quickly snapping a dozen or so pictures without the rifle scope. Click click click, again and again, "I've got visual evidence. What the hell is the deal here I wonder." he flicked his rifle from target to target watching and listening to Markus' commentary.

He narrowed his eyes, "They know each other. Another branch? Militia?" Before he could say more Beret got back into the Jeep. He settled his scope over the man and the jeep, "I could take him if..." He didn't finish the sentence. The bruisers stepped forward, leveled their guns and began to fire. For a brief moment he lost his trigger discipline. His finger hooked down and around the trigger, atleast for a brief moment. He could have pulled, the round could have sung out, and dropped one of those tanks. Driven right through the visor of the man. But before he could apply pressure he gets a hold of himself and jumped to his feet, shedding his camo. He pulled the small single use piton gun off his belt, slotting one of three pitons he has on him into place, sets the barrel of the gun against the stone, and fires. He takes a moment or two, too lace his rope up to it. He loops the rope through a caribineer on his hip, then tosses the rope out. Folliwng it over a second, briefly free falling before the rope and caribineer caught his descent. With a woof he came to a stop 3 feet above the ground, groaning as it felt like he'd pulled a muscle with that stunt, "fuck...I'm one the ground. Get over here!"

He cut the rope with his knife, then limp ran to the road just as Markus pulled up. He ripped the back passenger door open, and jumped inside, pulling the door closed behind him, "Go! Don't lose him!" He got his armored form up right and rolls down the window, looking out back, "Looks like the two big guys are looking for rovers of their own, we have sometime yet." he leaned out the window, a tight fit in his armor, "Get me a line on him! I'll try and take his tires. And hopefully we can extract before the two big guys get in range." He brought his rifle up, sighting through the scope, tryng to draw a bead on the jeep ahead of them, "Come on now."
So is there a general outline of what has been happening that I can look at?
I'd like to know what I'm getting into.
