Following the gym leader he hears him call for 'Nido' and sees a Nidorino follow the gym leader. Bakuto smiles remembering what Thomas Redcliff said about the gym leader and how Nidorino was one of his pokemon that wasnt gym regulation. Once entering the battle arena, Bakuto looked around but quickly gets into postion where he must stand and continued to listen to Henri the gym leader.

When he was asked how many Pokémon he wanted to battle with. Bakuto answers quickly, "Three Pokémon sounds fine to me." Bakuto pulls a pokeball from his hip then presses the center of it to expand the pokeball. Bakuto looks down at Absol next to him. "Not you yet buddy. We know this is a ground type gym but we need to still see what he has first and we have the perfect guy for the job of seeing what he has." Bakuto looks back towards the gym leader "If we are going to do a three team Pokémon battle then lets get started! Go Shedinja!

Throwing out his first Pokémon he intends to start this battle off with first. His ghost, bug Pokémon Shedinja. Absol just lays down out of the way and off the arena floor just going to watch the battle or take a nap it is hard to tell at the moment what Absol was going to do while waiting for a turn to be sent out to battle. Bakuto waits for the gym leader to pick his Pokémon next before trying to come up with a full strategy to deal with these ground type Pokémon.

Seeing the Marowak respond then going down a dark corridor. Bakuto waits he could hear the Marowak talking but couldn't make out what was being said. He could assume what the Marowak was saying as most pokemon say their own names when talking. Bakuto waits and sees a man emerge then introduces himself as Henri the same guy that Thomas told him who was the gym leader.

Bakuto smiles and says, "I am Bakuto, I am here for a gym battle." Bakuto went straight to the point after introducing himself and stating why he is there. Not sure what to expect he just is getting ready to mentally get ready for a pokemon battle. Waiting for Henri to accept the challenge then Bakuto would go where he needed to so he could start this battle if they were to get ready to get started on with his very first the gym battle.

If you are serious about reviving this, I'd love to take part in this again. Especially since we never really got started apart from the first 3 posts. I'd like to take part in this if it continues again.

Arriving at the Pokémon Gym he looks around with wonder in his eyes. Bakuto smiling the entire time as he walks around looking for the entrance. He sees the Marowak with hits bone club, instantly drawing his pokedex out and getting scan of the pokemon 'Marowak the bone keeper Pokémon. Despite its size, its offense and defensive strength is impressive' Bakuto reads through learning it is a ground type pokemon. More or less confirming that Bakuto was in the right place.

Taking in his surroundings, he looks at the television for a second to see what was on it. Curious of everything around this pokemon gym. Wondering what it would be like to be a gym leader in a gym similar to this. It looks very well build and set up in the way the element of this gym was meant to represent. Bakuto trying to formulate a plan in his head for ground types he didn't really have a significant advantage other than the mystery of his other two Pokemon that weren't walking around like Absol. While he wasn't sure what the gym leader was going to use. He would assume he would be using a Marowak but he could be wrong so he wasn't going to start assuming things.

After a bit of looking around Bakuto would walk up to the entrance whether then calls out loudly, "Hello?! Is anybody here? I am here for a Pokémon Battle!" He would turn to the Marowak if nobody would come to him and asks politely with a cheerful smile, "Hey have you seem the gym leader Marowak. I am looking for him so I have my first pokemon battle." Talking to the Marowak like it was another person. With Absol in tow as well seeing the Marowak, Absol gives it a friendly greeting by saying its own name.

Taunting him, the wolf taunted Bakuto. He heard the wolf talk about his teacher the Lieutenant that fought him like he was a novice. Bakuto says his voice sounding like a growl, "So that Lieutenant was your teacher. Good to know, you seem to be very confident. I wouldn't be so confident until you escape."

Nearly snapping right then and there. Bakuto was tapping into his devil fruit powers Bakuto's skin turning scaly and increasing in size slightly. Going for his human zoan form, his rage fueling him. Then he remembered why he didn't transform yet originally. Arafael's teacher was the reason for why he started training to improve his abilities. So he didn't have to rely on his devil fruit powers so much any more.

Suddenly he stopped transforming as Bakuto calms himself down. He looks towards the wolf trying to make a point to keep himself in his human form to capture Arafael with his own strength in his standard form. Quickly coming up with a plan to utilize the abilities he can use. Bakuto jumps up and turns in air until he faces Arafael then he kicks as hard as he away from the wolf, "Moonwalk!" Using the ability Geppo to jump off the air but instead using it to launch himself at the wolf. Then bringing his hand forward quickly "Finger pistol!" Using a finger pistol technique Shinga ability enhanced by the Geppo as he launches himself at the fleeing wolfman.

Sitting there listening to the old man as he introduced himself seeming not having a problem with Bakuto's recent ramblings. As he listened to Thomas Redcliff who seemed to know a great deal about the gym leader. Bakuto decided not to press for too much information he wanted to find out more about the gym leader when he meets him. For now he learned the gym leaders name is Henri that was something. Knowing that the gym leader's other Pokémon wasn't a Pokémon for the gym but the guys actual Pokémon Bakuto could help but think he was sort of similar. His own main Pokémon wasn't really regulation for the Rorie league either but he brought Absol anyway.

Looking over at the counter Bakuto sees nurse Joy calling him to come over, Bakuto sees two Pokéballs and smile as he realized his Pokémon were ready. Bakuto gets up and collects to the two Pokéballs and attaches them to his belt with the rest of his other Pokéballs. Bakuto then says to Thomas. "It was nice meeting you mister Redcliff, and thanks for the information on the gym. Glad to know where to find the gym now. I should be getting going. My Pokémon are healed up time for a gym battle, hopefully it goes well." Bakuto gets ready to leave. Unless Thomas stopped him or someone or something interrupted him on his way to the ground gym. Bakuto was just going to head straight to the Pokémon Gym. With a bit of a spring in his step from excitement for his gym battle. With Absol in tow going straight for where Thomas Redcliff told him the gym would be.

Suppressing the urge to laugh a bit when the rude girl left the Pokémon center. He didn't have to suppress that urge to laugh as the old man answered him about the Pokémon Gym. If Bakuto had his other two Pokémon he would have thanked the old man and headed out right then an there but he was still waiting to get his other two back as well. Soon the old man asked if he was waiting for nurse joy to treat his Pokémon. Bakuto answers, "Yeah I am waiting for a few of my Pokémon get treated. Headed here first to make sure to get my Pokémon ready before heading to the Pokémon Gym."

Bakuto looks up at the counter checking to see if his Pokemon were ready then says to the old man, "Hope this goes well. My first gym battle here in this region and first gym battle ever. I could have started off in Slateport or my home reign but I thought of the challenge of going out getting ready to challenge for a place I have never been before first would be a real challenge. Originally I was only going to come here with two Pokemon. Absol and my first Pokémon I caught, but things ended up with having three Pokémon before even getting here and..." Bakuto trails off then says apologetically, "I am sorry, got caught up rambling on and on. First person I really talked to getting here and isn't yelling at other people."

Bakuto looks at the Houndoom again then says to the old man asking, "So who are you sir? You seem to know a lot about things around here. Would have assumed the gym leader but that was before you said look for the ground logo which most likely means it is a ground type gym. Then again you could be and have other pokemon other then Houndoom and I am rambling again aren't I?" Bakuto laughs that bit off. Still a bit excited to be in this new region. The Absol feeling his trainers excitement and sharing the same feelings except a bit more serious about being here.

Bakuto sees the old man laughing at his comment then he says to the rude girl, "See this man's sees it. When you waltz into a place acting like you are better than everyone and yelling getting the attention of everyone else. So how about you sit down and wait for your Pokémon to be taken care of like the rest of us. If you don't want people to be staring then don't be yelling.", Bakuto says this plainly he reaches his hand out and puts it on his Absol's head calming his Pokémon down keeping Absol from growling.

The Absol looks at the old man and the Houndoom looking at the Pokémon curiously. Bakuto sees it as well and almost as quickly as he respond to the girl he pulls out his Hoenn reign pokedex. He pointed it at the Pokémon and looked up the Pokémon he was looking at. Pokedex, 'Houndoom, the Dark Pokémon. The evolved form of Houndour. Houndoom's eerie howl is said to cause those who hear it to shudder in fear.' Bakuto scrolls through a bit more learning the Pokémon's type he smiles and says, "Neat a Houndoom. That's a nice Pokémon you got there sir." Making a bit of small talk then he says, "You wouldn't happen to know where the Pokémon Gym is at? See I just arrived here for my first gym battle." Quickly ignoring what he just said to the girl who entered the Pokécenter if she made a deal about what he said he would address that then. Right now however he was trying to figure out where everything is as he waited for his other two Pokémon gets treated by the Pokémon center. While also getting Absol a bit of rest as well before heading over.

While finding the Gym was important, getting his Pokémon to full strength was more important even if they weren't too fatigued. He was a bit curious about the old man but he was going to stick to one question for now before barraging him with tons of other questions. If Bakuto had some extra Pokémon food he would be trying to feed his Absol as well but he didn't, and Absol had eaten before entering the city.

Bakuto was getting ready to leave but something stopped him as he waiting and watch the captain talk to the fortune teller. Suddenly it was revealed that he was the wolf. Another zoan type user it looked like. The captain was rightfully angry at the former pet that deceived them. Bakuto also shared this anger. As they were talking Bakuto removed the cloaks and extra weighted gear.

Then the captain went to attac the fortune teller but it began to make its get away. Bakuto sees the windows he then says, "Nah I don't think so..." Pushing all his personal strength down to his legs planning on attempting something he hasn't done before. Bakuto says, "Shave!" Using the six powers move he hasn't attempted before the ability to move at great speeds Shave(Soru) As Bakuto moves it isn't at blinding speeds. Just slightly above normal, and he was off balance sprinting forward he slams right into the wall next to the window going right through, instead of stopping like he had intended.

Once he crashed through the wall. He stands up and looks towards the hole in the wall he made and looks around for the wolf man. He then says loudly, "Come on you think you can up and leave like that? You lied to the captain and her crew. You think we would let you leave after that? You're a zoan type user I see. Wolf type it looks like. Zoan types are rare and Predator types are just as rare when you look at those fruits. But you see mine is even rarer. So yeah try and run. I'll catch you and drag you back to the captain in whatever state I'll leave you in."

Bakuto seemingly not letting going through a building get to him and not showing like he was affected. He just focuses on the building believing he made it out first taking a stance to get ready and stop the wolf from getting away. Not quite transforming yet. Holding back his zoan powers and trying to rely on his own strength in his natural form. He was a former marine captain. Before his time with the devil fruit powers he had the combat skills to fight as a captain of the marines. The fight with that strong Lieutenant, getting out matched by him has spurred this on. Bakuto had something he must prove to himself and he was going to do that by trying to captain this former pet now traitor of the scarlet pirates.

Listening Bakuto eventually stops tapping on the table and listened to the captain and Adrian speak to each other. When the captain and him were done talking. Bakuto then says, "Put half of my split into the ships funds Captain. We should keep some money on the ship stored up for a rainy day."

Bakuto then stood up standing up slowly because of the added weight of his clothing he was wearing. Sitting there made him nearly forget what he was wearing. Stumbling around a bit like a drunk but Bakuto never once had a drink during the entire time within the tavern. Bakuto then says "We has until dusk then? Very well then. I can show the two new members to the ship if you two want. If not or afterwards I can pick up a few things before we leave Loguetown."

Bakuto steadies himself and looks like he is getting ready to leave he then remembers something about the grand line. Especially after hearing the captain talk about navigational tools. He quickly says, "By the way captain when you look for the navigational tools, we will need something other then a normal compass. From things I heard, ordinary compasses wont work in the Grand Line. We will need a special compass...what was it called again. A log compass, no it is a log pose. We will want to procure one of those either right after we enter the grand line or before or we will be wandering around the grand line aimlessly just to be hoping we can reach an Island." Bakuto then says, "Anyway, I'll be heading out now. Rather not sit in one place for too long." Bakuto then waits to see if either of the two now new members of the crew were going to want to be shown to the ship or not before leaving.
