@KoL Wow, I was definitely not expecting that lol. A collab would work with me as well.
Fei

At the wizard’s expected sign of frenzy, Fei smirked to herself. She knew it wouldn’t last for long, especially because she was approaching the two, but it would be enough to get the upper hand. Jessi and her needed to get rid of all their opponents as quickly as possible. The fate of her mother rested on their shoulders. As her eyes stayed focused on the two opponents in front of her, the colosseum rumbled with a large amount of power and a silence hushed over the crowd. Dammit Jessi Fei cursed, not allowing herself to glance back. Going into battle distracted was almost giving up entirely. Jessi would be fine, she convinced herself. Looking back would be a dishonor. Nodding to herself, her fiery eyes turned to focus on the ice witch.

Unfortunately, before her enchantment could do much damage to the woman, she had taken notice of her. The moment she spoke of Fei as a weakling little girl, her eyes turned dark. She absolutely hated it when people looked her off simply because she was young or a girl. Most of her time was spent with people who avoided her from fear and dealing with an entire group of people who not only weren’t scared but thought of her as weak enraged her. She let the hatred strengthen her flame, let it consume her tome, and fill her with power.

“I know a bluffer when I see one,”
She spoke back at woman’s snarky comment about cards. Smirking, she willed her flames to encircle the woman, keeping her separated from both Fei and the wizard who had yet to defeat the woman’s ice power. Part of her hoped the ice block had taken care of him but she still readied herself to fight both of them. Fire Vs. Ice. The upcoming battle would surely prove to be quite interesting. Both of her swords sat tight clutched within her hands waited for the fight.

Present Day ~ Lake Tahoe

Snuggled in her soft, blush trench coat, Ariel breathed in the rich scent of her coffee as she took another much needed sip. The day before had completely drained her of all her energy. One of her Youtuber friends had been wanting to do a collab for quite some time and their schedules had finally matched up so she had flown all the way from New York to San Francisco. While she had an amazing time visiting the city for her second time, she couldn’t deny the amount of exhaustion she felt.

Being a YouTuber was full of interesting things, Ariel never knew what to expect next. It allowed her to travel across the world, attempt the strangest things, one could say it was the dream life. Everything about the job description shouted her name in bold letters. There was no other thing she would rather be doing. All of her life she had always felt there was something more, something beyond her,and Ariel believed this was exactly that.

After spending the whole day before touring San Francisco and filming a Disney challenge where she had completely kicked butt, Ariel now sat within a quaint little coffee shop in Lake Tahoe. With two weeks of freedom before a fan meetup in London, Ariel couldn’t pass up a chance to go snowboarding at a nearby ski resort. It had been years since she had stepped on a snowboard and she couldn’t wait to rip the course to shreds. She could still remember the first time her parents had taken her to a ski resort in Switzerland.

Dozens of tourists sat within the coffee shop, hiding from the cold outside. Sometimes it was interesting to simply sit in public and watch people. Everyone had their own story and Ariel was incredibly intrigued as to what everyone’s story was. She couldn’t explain why but people seemed to fascinate her. Shrugging, she took another sip of her steaming coffee as a little girl in pigtails sat beside an older woman, who Ariel assumed was her mother, and sucked on a watermelon smoothie. A smile spread across her lips at the sight. Children were absolutely adorable and she could spend hours being around them. One day maybe she’d even have her own. Although she could never make a commitment so easily for Ariel would continue her adventures for as long as she could. As she was about to take another sip, a petite blonde with an excited grin on her face slowly made her way over to Ariel.

“Oh my gosh, are you Ariel Banks?” She asked in a high pitched voice.

“Aww, yes I am.”

“I absolutely love your videos on YouTube, I watch them all the time. I can’t believe I’m meeting you. You’re so amazing!”

Ariel smiled. “That’s so sweet! Thank you so much.”

“Would it be okay if we took a picture together?”

“Of course!” Ariel set down her coffee and stood up beside the girl. Meeting fans was one of her favorite things. It was incredible to know that she entertained so many people. Although sometimes she did prefer to hide behind dark shades and blend into a crowd.

Pulling out her cellphone, the girl snapped a few photos of the two and thanked Ariel again before returning back to her family. Ariel needed to check into the ski resort before it became too late so she grabbed her tan bag and made her way outside. Goosebumps spread across her arms and she instantly regretted not wearing her winter coat, which was locked in the rental car a few blocks away. Fashion wasn’t everything but it did tend to trump over many things.

A half hour later, Ariel found herself in the lobby of the ski resort her friend had picked out for her. Soft music played in the background and she found herself walking to the beat of it. While she would never pursue it as a career, Ariel enjoyed singing and listening to classic hits. She particularly enjoyed Disney music, another reason why she had destroyed her YouTube friend at the challenge. Maybe it was the happy ending but Ariel adored Disney movies and could literally watch them over and over again all day

The clerk sitting behind the counter gave her a slight smile and sighed, obviously tired from work. Giving the lady her best smile, Ariel approached the counter. They exchanged conversation and details of her identity several minutes before she was finally given the keys to her room. Ariel didn’t plan to stay long so she only carried three bags, one of which held her camera equipment. There was no break of her videos with the exception of the holidays or emergencies.

Pushing shades up her nose, Ariel gracefully walked over to the elevator and eventually made it to her room. She instantly pushed play to a playlist of Disney music and opened her Mac to begin editing a thumbnail for her latest video.

@Vicier

Thanks :) I did have a lot of fun :P
Sorry for not being active lately! I had Prom this weekend and State Journalism today but hopefully I'll get a post up soon!
Aghhh. I'm the worst, sorry! I had state journalism today and I just got home but I'm super tired. I'm not sure I'll get a post in tonight but I'll really try! I finished my Claire part of the post on Sunday so I just have to do the Zoey part. Although if we do the time skip, I'm going to have to change my post a little bit XD

Speaking of skipping to summer, I guess it changes my plans a little bit but I don't mind. Whatever everyone else wants to do works with me :)
Fei

The moment she saw Jessi alive and well, Fei breathed a sigh of relief. Anyone of his capabilities would have no problem fighting any of their appointments, she shouldn’t have been worried in the first place. So why was she..? At his humorous remark, she flashed a slight smile. It was rather annoying that they’d been tricked through magic twice… “Well, if they want to fight through magic, let’s give them a show.” Fire burned through Fei’s veins and if people wanted to battle with her flames, she wouldn’t back down.

As she was looking at Jessi, a dark figure hovered over him and didn’t hesitate to strike him with the gigantic sword in his hands. The fact that he, who she now recognized as the knight from the night before, had managed to sneak up on both of them worried Fei for both of them should have already sensed him. Before she could so much as move to attack, the man laid a forceful kick in her chest and she was thrown to the ground as her breath escaped her. Bastard.. The pain in her breast was incredible but she bit her lip before she would show the odd figure that. Something about him felt rather strange. He felt.. cold. And she couldn’t help but be confused as he went to shout orders from the Platinum guardian. One working for the Imperium surely wouldn’t attack Fei like this, even with orders from a guardian. There were other methods to safely take her out rather than attack her. Something wasn’t right about him…

The knight was well trained, his fighting methods were exceptional, expected of one coming from the Imperium. He moved with ease and flexibility and Fei could barely predict his movements. She definitely hadn’t expected the knight to nex do a summersault and prepare to smash into Fei. Part of her felt like a little girl at the moment, how someone from the Imperium would be the one to defeat her. She closed her eyes and waited, but instead of the aching pain she expected, there was nothing. Her eyes flickered open to find familiar silver flames blocking the knight from reaching her and knocking him off balance. While she knew of the deal she had made with the Jester, she hadn’t expected it to be so powerful. It seemed his promise that she would in fact win this tournament would prove to be true. Of course that didn’t mean she would simply hold back.

Jessi held no hesitation as he took the man’s confusion to trip him and take position in front of Fei. She raised her eyebrow as he then went to order her to stay back. As a guard, Jessi had no right to speak to her in such a commanding tone. Part of her was even annoyed that he thought he could order her around but she knew it had nothing to do with that. Jessi wanted blood, wanted to prove that no one could mess with him and get away with it, and he wanted to protect her. So she did something she wouldn’t typically do, back down. She would let him have the knight. No words needed to be said as she took a few steps back and allowed Jessi his wish.

Fei turned her head slightly to assess the rest of the battlefield. It seemed everyone was caught up in their own battles, leaving her the choice of who to pick off first. The sorcerer and late arrival of the competition were already far into battle. Smirking, Fei thought she’d use one of her tome’s abilities she hadn’t used in a while. Taking a deep breath, she stared at both Letty and the sorcerer with tense eyes. Emotions of angst and fear would soon drift into their minds, taking control, consuming them. It was an unfair trick Fei typically chose not to use but she needed to win this battle as quickly as possible. Time was of the utmost essence.

As she let the magic take effect, Fei began to slowly make her way over the two. While the trick would weaken their mind, it still didn’t mean they were completely useless and could still very much prove to be a challenge. But Fei was prepared for that and gripped her two swords to prove it.

I just wanted to let everyone know Prom is this weekend so I will not be on during the weekend. I'll really try to get a post in tomorrow but I also have a birthday party so we'll see. Also, IB exams are coming up and I'm going on vacation in a few weeks so I'm going to be a little inactive but I'll try my best :) Sorry for the trouble!
Some god out there must have taken pity on Claire for the moment she uttered her age, Wesley had thrown her out of the limo near the academy. As he drove off, she stood awkwardly on the sidewalk and blinked. Had that really happened? Those tortuous ten minutes seemed like a blur now, almost like it hadn’t even been her in the car. She was truly ignorant for even stepping into the man’s car but fear had won over reason. Perhaps next time she wouldn’t be quite so foolish. The town was still safe, despite the little stunt that had just occurred, and she was almost sure sometime like this wouldn’t happen again. Claire just needed to make sure she didn’t go to that coffee shop anytime soon.

Too caught up in her thoughts, Claire hadn’t realized she been gawking for a few minutes until a woman came up to her asking if she was alright. The richest and probably most dangerous man in town had just threatened and technically kidnapped her, she was already late for class, and she had a doctor’s appointment today Of course, Claire threw away all of her inner troubles and flashed the woman a smile. She was fine, she would be okay. “I’m doing great, thank you. And you?”

The woman went on to introduce herself as Nana Darling, apparently someone who knew Wesley fairly well. She apologized if he had startled her and even offered her help should he ever attempt anything again. It was a bit odd taking a stranger’s number but Claire took it anyway, gratefully. You never know.. While she had never met Nana in her life, Claire felt oddly secure around the woman. From the few words she had said, Claire could tell she was honest and caring, two traits the world needed more.

She went on to show Claire her son and she couldn’t but giggle at how adorable he was. “He’s soo cute! You must be really proud.” She smiled. Perhaps today wouldn’t be so bad after all. “As for a ride, I would be incredibly grateful if it’s not too much trouble. My car’s still at the coffee shop and it’s a rather far distance to walk.”

After the nice woman took her back to the dreadful coffee shop, she sat in her car for a few minutes and debated what she wanted to do next. Going against her schedule was something she rarely did but right now, she absolutely did not want to listen to a lecture. Try as she might, there was no way out of the doctor’s but she had a few hours to kill before it started.

12:30
Sipping a strawberry smoothie, Claire sat within the warm sun of Cherry Blossom Park at one of the park benches. Memories of the doctor’s appointment filled her mind as she wiped away another small tear. Perhaps it was finally time to say goodbye to Riley. Their time together had been short and sweet but she felt as if she had truly fallen in love. It was incredibly selfish of Claire to be with him though, especially now. She couldn’t do that to him…

Claire pulled out her bucket list and sifted through the long goals she had made when she was around ten years old. It was pink and glittery, slowly fading from the many years of folding it up and taking it around. Most of the items had been checked off, only three more remained. Fall in love Although she supposed it was time to check that one off. Ride a Horse. Somehow she had yet to fulfill this silly dream when she was younger but perhaps her parents could arrange it soon. Maybe Riley could even go with her… And lastly, the most embarrassing one of all. Marry a Prince.. If only she go back in time to tell her 10 year old self not to write such an unrealistic goal. Claire chuckled softly. She never thought she would actually check off the majority of her so not fulfilling one was okay.

A slight breeze brushed against her wet face, blowing away at her hair. Despite the plans she had made for the night, Claire didn’t feel much like doing anything that night. She slowly pulled out her phone and sent an email to the Red Cross explaining she didn’t feel well and couldn’t volunteer. Only in the case of emergencies had Claire ever canceled on events, usually giving them a 24 hour notice. Guilt tore at her stomach but the only thing she wanted to do was curl up in her bed, eat a tub of ice cream, and watch Glee. While she was on her phone, Claire took a deep breath and sent Riley a text.

Hey Riley :) I don’t think we can go shopping tonight. Don’t feel the best. Hope you have a good day. Love, Claire <3

And with that, Claire finished her smoothie and made her way home where she hoped to stay locked in bed for awhile.
