LOVE this character already. Accepted; go ahead and post him in the Characters section.

Thanks, I'm pretty excited for this RP. Like I said before I'm a huge KOTOR fan.
Name: Deak Ducain
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Rank: Knight

Lightsaber Forms:
- Shii-Cho
- Makashi
- Soresu

Equipment:
- Blue Lightsaber
- His freighter ship, the Scavenger

Appearance:

Personality: A theif with a heart of gold that ultimately chose to pursue life as a Jedi rather than a life of crime. A naturally charismatic and charming smooth-talker, specializing in Jedi mind tricks over skill with a lightsaber. Although he is no longer a slimy, double-crosing, no-good swindler, he does maintain some of these scoundrelous tendencies, making more than a few members of the Jedi Order feel rather uneasy.

Biography: Born and raised on "The Smuggler's Moon," Nar Shaddaa, it seemed as though it was Deak Ducain's destiny to be a slimy, double-crossing, no-good swindler. After losing his parents at a young age, Deak was forced to look out for himself, falling into a life of crime in order to get by. Theft, extortion, spice dealing, illegal swoop racing, all were par for the course on Nar Shaddaa, and Deak quickly learned the skills he would need in order to survive. Nar Shaddaa was a lot of things, but a good place to gorw up was not one of them.

Deak began working for a powerful criminal organization known as the Exchange, and before long he became one of their most trusted smugglers. Deak found that he had a certain flair for the profession, as he was quite a smooth-talker and an unusually skilled pilot. During this time he even acquired his own freighter, the Scavenger, which he used to carry out missions for the Exchange throughout the galaxy. The Exchange ultimately became the closest thing he had to family.

In the world of smugglers and crime lords, the best policy is not to trust anybody, and Deak would soon learn this the hard way. He discovered that his father had several unpaid debts with the Exchange, and that the Exchange was reponsible for the death of his parents as a result. Feeling betrayed, Deak sought out the bounty hunter responsible for killing his parents, in order to exact revenge. Deak swore he would bring down the entire Exchange if he had to, but little did he know that an operation was already in place aiming to do just that.

A Jedi Knight named Kai-Voth was conducting an undercover mission within the ranks of the Exchange, covertly passing information to Republic authorities and the Jedi Council. During the mission, Kai-Voth's cover was blown and he was discovered by Deak, who agreed to help him take down the Exchange from within. Voth was amazed at Deak's connection to the Force, observing his quick reflexes, abilitity to manipulate others, and knack for survival. Voth sensed that there was more to Deak that just the smuggler he had become, and that if trained he could become a powerful Jedi. However, for Deak to pursue training as a Jedi, he would need to pass an important test.

Deak and Voth cornered the bounty hunter that killed Deak's parents on Nar Shaddaa, and Deak was faced with a choice. Execute the man or have him brought in to face Republic justice for his many crimes. Deak could not bring himself to murder and unarmed prisoner and chose the latter as a result, passing the test that Voth had intended. After taking down a prominent Exchange crime lord on Nar Shaddaa, Voth was awarded the rank of Jedi Master. He brought Deak before the Jedi on Coruscant, and asked to take him on as an apprentice. His request was granted.

Deak was trained in the ways of the Force by Master Kai-Voth, and he was taught to harness and control his natural abilities. During this time, the Mandalorian Wars broke out, and the Jedi found themselves in the midst of a rift as Revan began to rally Jedi Knights to his cause. Deak felt somewhat conflicted regarding the Jedi's non-inteventionalist position, but he ultimately chose to remain loyal to the Jedi and to his Master that had done so much for him. However, upon the completion of his training, Deak was given a mission that would prove critical to the Mandalorian Wars.

Master Kai-Voth revealed that he was a member of the Jedi Shadows, a hidden sect of Jedi the general public was unaware of, carrying out highly-sensitive, top-secret missions. This was the reason he was sent undercover into the Exchange. Master Voth believed that Deak had all of the qualities necessary to become a Jedi Shadow, and distinguish himself from the other members of the Order. For his first mission, Deak was to be sent undercover into the ranks of Revan's supporters, and report information back to the Jedi. Deak's loyalities would soon be tested in more ways than he could possibly imagine...
Knights of the Old Republic is my favourite game of all time, so I'm defintiely interested in this.

I think this is a great idea, and I'm definitely interested.
I'd be interested, but only if we were to bump things up to a casula or advanced Rp. I love DC Comics, but I also like RPs that allow for more depth and require a bit more effort.
"You were a loose cannon out there tonight Connor, an uncaged animal...and I've gotta tell you, I'm a fan. Ruthless aggression. I love it."

Over the last few months, ruthless aggression seemed to be the name of the game for "Rabid" Rob Reynolds. Connor's character had built considerable momentum, and management had taken notice. Flanagan himself beleived that "Rabid" Rob was ready for the next level.

"Connor you said you wanted to talk about the Battle in Seattle and so do I, because quite frankly I think that Rob Reynolds is going to be one of the major players in the Battle Royal. Another major player in that Battle Royal is going to be Drayden, and that's why I also wanted to talk to you about next week. It's time for you to step into the ring with one of the big boys, and god dammit they don't get much bigger than the Man They Call Drayden. I've heard that you've wanted to mix it up with Drayden for awhile now, so next week you'll get your chance."

The match was intended as a proving ground of sorts, and he knew Connor would see it the same way.

"Here's the plan," Jack continued. "We book you in another squash match, and you just destroy your opponent. We'll find a nice job guy, someone who can really sell it. The bell rings to end the match, but you don't stop. Drayden comes out to make the save, and he gets in your face. He challenges you to a match right then and there! You guys go back and forth for a good ten to fifteen before Drayden gets the win. After the match, you blow a fucking gasket and tear the entire by god arena apart!"

Jack found himself becoming lost in his own imagination again, he knew it would make for great television. Still, he felt he owed Connor a bit of an explanation.

"Drayden needs the win to build some momentum heading into his International Title match," Jack explained, "but you'll be protected since you'll have already had a match that night before you go up against Drayden. Plus this won't be the end of the story. You and Drayden will definitely cross paths again in that Battle Royal, and who knows? If you look good next week, you could end up getting that big win in Seattle..."
We were planning to have a back-and-forth match which ended in Drayden reversing Rob's finisher into his own finisher for the win. After which I was planning on having Rob trash the ringside area in a fit of rage. We could certainly change it to incorporate a run-in by Sexton if you like, to set up Drayden's match at the Battle. Depending on what he has planned for Connor/Rob we could try to set up whatever he's doing too if you like?

Putting Drayden over like that is fine, he needs a win to build up to his International Title match. As it stands right now we know that Sexton is going to get the dirty win over Drayden to hold onto the IN Title, then in the Battle Royal Drayden gets his revenge by eiminating Sexton. Rabid Rob could then get some revenge of his own by eliminating Drayden. Keeps everybody strong.
By the way @Sarge, since you and uni are RPing a little match between Drayden and Rabid Rob I figured I'd just have Jack book that match for next week. Do you guys have a finish for the match? Because we want to keep both guys looking strong going into Seattle. Maybe Sexton Love does a run-in to end the match as a DQ.

Originally I had plans for Rabid Rob and Mike Blaze as well, but we can cross that bridge once we get there. A crazy wildman and a hardcore wrestler seems like a perfect matchup. They would tear the entire arena apart.
