How and why would Mez have met her brother? I mean, the pair of them were running jobs together and occasionally taking the skin boat to tuna town. That's hardly a cause for "Hey, lemme introduce you to my family." In fact, any clued up guy would actively prevent such a meeting from ever happening. :P Haha!

Not in a meet the family way!! Marga's brother was part if the outfit of thieves that she used to belong to. They'd have done a job together probably.

If everyone has pressurized suits we could still just blow open a hole, or for a cleaner insertion Sevyn could use her Ardie to cut out an insertion point. Would probably take a while though

It's a good idea but in the time they were together is it really plausible she never felt anger, fear, arousal, etc? Maybe Mez discovered her heritage when he met her brother, who could be a lot more Thuboisii looking than her? @Kalas thoughts?

@Kalas Marga's skin does turn blue with in tractate patterning when she expierences extrems of emotions, but maybe Mez just chalked that up to something else.
