@Eviledd1984Sam watched with satisfaction as his barrage of blasts hit his opponent, kicking up a vast amount of dust.
Not ideal... he thought to himself, but he wasn't concerned. His years of developing his focus meant that just because he couldn't see his opponent, it didn't mean he didn't know where they were. He took a side on stance ready for the inevitable counter attack but prepared or not, his opponent was a very capable fighter. Colda launched forth and began to unload another furious barrage. Fists, feet, elbows and knees...Colda made use of them all in his onslaught. Sam's defence held for a short while before a thunderous shot to his right kidney opened his guard. Then with a graceful spin Colda swung his tail at Sam's face, connecting with a tremendous thud. Sam's body was flung half way across the arena. His back hit the floor hard, but he utilised the momentum to roll back up onto his feet.
"Not bad..." Sam stopped mid sentence as he felt a trickle down his cheek. He raised his hand to his face and pulled his fingers away to see his blood coating his finger tips. Raising his head he looked at Colda with excitement, a grin verging on psychotic crossed his face.
"Not bad at all." Sam then began to slowly raise himself up into the sky and looked down at his alien opponent.
"This is called the Raging Torrent...you'll see why now." Sam faced forward towards Colda and drew his elbows back to his side. In a blink his hands had jetted forward and back twenty times unleashing a hail of ki blasts. Each took a slightly different trajectory, some heading relatively straight with others swinging out wide before coming back in towards his opponent.
@Reflection@supertinykingAs the old man began to charge up his attack a voice called out from their side causing Kojiro to stop. As he did so the small feline let out a yell for what he could only assume was an incoming attack.
Time to stop and see who the new guest is, he thought to himself. Kojiro then utilised his speed to it's full capacity. For years he had been known as the fastest fighter the World Tournament had ever seen and even at his ripe old age of 83, he hadn't missed a step. With the small lad charging his attack, Kojiro brought his free hand to his face. The instant his hand touched against the bridge of his nose a piercingly bright light erupted forward directly into the eyes of the young feline. The brightness of the techniques flash was so much so that simply closing ones eyes would do little to protect you. At almost the same time as the burst of light flashed, Kojiro let go of Wain's neck and yanked his arm backwards. The speed of the movement freed his arm with relative ease, thankfully felines didn't have prehensile tails. If it was something meatier like Colda's, then maybe he'd have been stuck. As gravity took hold of the now grip free cat, Kojiro took several quick steps backwards and watched as an axe passed where he had just been stood. The weapon embedded itself into the wall of his dojo.
Everything had happened in a split second to the point it appeared Kojiro had simply re-appeared several metres away from the child. He turned his head to the direction the axe had been flung from to see what appeared to be a man in ninja garb. What was strange was the distinct lack of power he could sense from them. Even the weakest of humans gave off some level of power, this person however had nothing. Kojiro closed the gap to them in an instant and appeared right before whoever this person was.
"What's the big idea?! You've damaged my wall!" The old man returned to his relaxed state, slightly leant forward with his arms behind his back. He kept his senses firmly focussed behind him expecting however, for the brief time he'd known Wain he expected an attack to come his way.
"I'll let you off the damage to the dojo if you train with this kid...how about it?"
