Just discovered that I'll be down camping for three days starting on Wednesday and there'll be no computers or internet access. Hopefully I can post on Sunday but in case I can't I don't want people waiting for me to respond - if it comes to that then I'm letting anyone who's talking to me write my response so that I don't stop the roleplay for them. Sorry about this sudden update guys.
3. Economy wise, I have not thought about it. Maybe someone is willing to pitch in about this?

I'd imagine that people either traded in general goods, a specific good like food or batteries/electicity if it was possible(unlikely).
Aaand we're live!

Ack! I'd better be fast in that case, writing a manipulative son of a gun although I have a question or two;
- Are Characters with high supernatural sensitivity the only ones who are "attuned" proficiently with magick, as in are they the only ones that would be aware of the supernatural worlds beforehand? Could a medium sensitive character be raised knowing of the magical realm, spells and the lot?
- How available would magic be, as in would historical artefacts have power or would supernatural entities live among us in the public?
- What length of time would the roleplay take place in? By that I mean would it take a year in game to find Olivia or perhaps only a month?
Not proud of it but there's the post, I've moved onto my next victims - Drunk and Camera Gal!
David Costley

Grand Ridge Academy - Hallway of Male Dorms

Amidst the cries of the ringing a foul call could be heard from behind David, the voice was low and yet felt strained though the speaker was forcing the words out as unnaturally as he could. This shouldn't of raised David's interest. Really it shouldn't have except that the word spoken was an insult, a demeaning one at that - it caught David by surprise and so he turned his head towards the voice. The caller was a tall kid, looked like somebody who could have been an extra in Pulp Fiction with his gelled blonde hair and the boots, oh jesus the boot. Nothing described a grunt more perfectly than wearing boots like that! Though the guy seemed to be grappling another person; long coat, tattoo on their neck, dark hair. The punk prodded at his victim, muttering several words that David couldn't overhear as he travelled further away, though suddenly the grunt turned and threw his victim into one of the rooms, following suit and closing the door behind him..

"Nope, I'm not going to have any part of this." thought David, turning back around and walking away, outside the entrance way and out into the open expanse known as the outside world - out into the college campus and towards the parking lot where there was none other than the drunk as well as someone he didn't recognise. Nervously at first, David strode up to them before beginning to talk. "Now I know it's been a while," he narrows his vision as he checks the green-haired kid over for injuries of any kind, with concern in his voice he continues "though are you doing alright now?" Without realising it at the time it seemed he had interrupted their conversation somewhat, the stranger had her camera held out towards the drunk.
"err... sorry if I interrupted." he laughs nervously, simultaneously scratching his occiput.

I am aware of the well-kept secret that Haley has a thing for accents.
Does this answer your questions?

Thanks for the fast reply! I had forgotten a few other questions but you've answered everything I had asked.

Those questions that I hadn't mentioned were;
- How obtainable are guns in the wilderness, as well as the ammo for them? Since it's Europe/France I'd assume that it would prove to be difficult.
- How equipped are Roaches and bandits? Vehicles, power, weaponry.
- Would the settlement care for animals and livestock as well as crops? How scarce are animals and what would you expect to find in the area as you have stated that there are wild creatures already
- What governments or powers are there in the settlement? Are there families with greater influence than others and seek for their own gain, is there a democratic leadership?
- Have you planned any important NPC or locally famous figures already?

A few meta questions;
- What would be the expected writing length?
- What is to expected on the character sheet? Is it open or stat based?
- Will this be sandbox (with or without an overarching plot) or is there a specific story that characters will follow such as the repairing of relations with the neighbouring settlement?

All in all I'd most probably be interested in this, again thanks for replying so soon.

Are you sure speed is the word you're looking for? Divinus is quite slow, but if all goes to plan, Godspeed will be pretty fast-paced. The post length in Divinus is sort of just a product of the way stories pan out.

Speed is definitely the right word I was looking for, I tend to near just over a thousand words per five (to eight) hours... on reflections perhaps resolve would have been more appropriate although it's mainly due to me staring off into space, thinking of what to write for the next sentence...

Divinus is slow paced although I'm not entirely confident that I'd be able to write on par with others considering this predicament, hence my interest has been directed at Godspeed rather than it's predecessor.

So a few questions;

- When is this set/when did the earthquake take place so that we know the technology level of the time.
- Just for flavour, how is the agriculture and land of the settlement?
- What other areas or groups of interest would there be in the local area or that people would know of?
- Where in the world is the settlement as well as the ethnicities? I wouldn't wish to create a Canadian and it is set in Japan, etc etc. (I'm assuming that it's somewhere in America?).
- What rules would there be? Is gun-carrying permitted? Are guns permitted?
- Did religions survive the 'quakes or have new ones sprouted?
- What would be the average education level of the typical adult of the camp, also is there a general education or are people raised to carry out a specific job for the future, for example an engineer school or a military academy.
