I once faked a British accent for four hours to a German girl while I was in Germany. She thought I was from the UK. She told me this story about how she pretended to be from Virginia Beach, Virginia to some old German guy. When I finally told her I was American she got pissed at me. I figured since she had done the same thing and it was OK, then I could do it to her, right? Wrong.

I take part in little caffeine, have no taste or love for coffee, and do not tolerate alcohol well. For the past some seven years I have been resigned to water, green, as well as white tea, and while certainly better for myself, it does make times of celebration a bit odd. As for black tea, I admit I have yet to quite find one I am partial to in the slightest and drink them very sparingly as a result. As for carbonated drinks, I cannot recall the last one I had; it has been years to say the least.

I learned how to shoot effectively just in case of a bio hazard outbreak that drives people to kill other people like zombies.

I've had the pleasure of watching a few scenes of death in film in my life but there is one that remains the most traumatic.

So as a child, my parents did a horrible job of hiding the more mature films they were watching from me. When I was young we were confined to an apartment that was a living room and a storage closet. A kitchen and a bathroom with a window that looked at a... wall. I had a room but a cracked door did little to hide the one tv.

Thanks to them, I learned that clowns like to live in the gutter and sometimes blood comes out of your sink. I learned that you can escape prison by digging a hole in your cell wall. I learned about a guy with a bunch of needles in his face who liked to play with a toy box. I learned about a guy with a hockey mask for a face who liked to play with knives. I learned Sigourney Weaver is a badass. I also learned that if a woman is beating on and yelling at a man who has his head under her skirt, he's not doing anything wrong.

I've seen some shit... but for whatever reason, Mellish dying in Saving Private Ryan is still difficult for me to watch to this day.

I agree. Also Caparzo and Wade's deaths were pretty rough for me.

Speaking of movies and film, unsurprisingly The Lion King was perhaps the first one I have recall of, though I have been told I watched others in youth. With age, I have seen increasingly fewer movies, to the point I begin to forget they exist.

This might not be as surprising as it might sound, I've got quite the guilty pleasure for soap operas. While I do indulge in primetime ones, I have a particular lean towards the daytime sorts, specifically the American Daytime Soap Operas, Days of our Lives and The Young and the Restless.

The majority of the time I forget just how old I am and whenever the matter of age is brought up, I need derive my own age as it is so readily forgotten. So much so I tend to forget my own date of birth and have had to develop a pattern to remember it. Perhaps the best and worst of this is, is I am not quite old.
