As before, unless they're added to the character sheets they won't be counted. @Cassowarysaur The RP's currently full. However, you can queue for an open slot that might open in the future.
Really? I've missed getting in by a few days? That's disheartening.
I don't really see why you can't have one more person, but a GM's gotta GM. Yeshua will wait on the sidelines for now, I guess.
...wow...now it does feel like old times...how's things Cass?
Feels strangely euphoric. I felt sad about the lost possibilities with the old HoM, but now I'm only slightly salty about the notion of me missing 90 posts of IC. Inactivity has been the name of the game, I'm afraid.
But this was, without a doubt, the greatest RPing I've ever done. Yeshua needs to come back.
I'm really interested. Expect a CS from me soon, but I won't be the most active. If I don't put out a CS, presume I've been preoccupied but I'm hoping that time will spare me some for this.
@Remipa AwesomeAwesome! It works out very well for me and I've been waiting for some interaction to post, so I appreciate you agreeing with me. My post will be up by the end of the day.
@CassowarysaurYour character has dreamy eyes....it's a shame my character is still married...Lol Anyways I love your character development and look forward to your posts.
@FortunesFadedI happen to know @Desire and I believed he would make a wonderful addition to our group.
Also, I'm in a large group roleplay and what we did to make things less confusing is we used a random number generator to put people in groups. Perhaps we could use a NPC post stating that there are several safe check points where the groups should try to approach(although they could be dead zones by the time they get there). Or seeing as there is interaction already, we could create our own smaller groups and use the random generator for newer players joining. Events could occur where the groups meet up and also characters aren't required to stay in their own groups and could always leave to join another group if personal conflict arises or something like that. It's just a suggestion but it's working perfect in my other large group roleplay. Also at the beginning of the OCC character list section we could add the location of each group along with missions, etc.
Thanks a lot! My previous RP went so well because I came up with a disturbing yet interesting character, so beware: I'm not holding back when it comes to Joshua. I'll post as soon as I read everyone else's post and figure out what I'm doing, so I doubt that will happen tonight. I think when we meet up, terrible, terrible things will happen.
Joshua stands at 6"1 and has a less than average build. He possesses a heavy amount of body and face hair, which grows out very quickly if left unkempt. His left canine tooth is missing and his lips can become incredibly dry, his throat often parched and his face pale. Rugged, dirty and worn clothes are in his collection, mostly ranging in the black spectrum. . His hoodie is more often than not drawn over his head.
Place of Residence: Delaware, Dover
Strengths:
CURIOUS: Joshua has a knack at being amazed by even the minute things, especially in the natural world. His eye for extraordinary materials has led him to where he is, and his curiosity will always draw him to the most profitable situation.
PASSIVE: Anger is not an emotion that finds itself leeching on to him, and neither does regret. He can move on from horrible events with minimal ease and because of this, he finds it hard to lash out at someone who is treating him negatively. His apathy applies to almost everyone and himself, leading to him constantly wanting to improve himself.
INTELLIGENT: Joshua has a strive to know everything. He desires to build an empire of knowledge, erect towers of peace and is an idealist with enough passion to destroy any argument in his way. His burning passion for his craft and the world around him has driven him to become extremely elitist. He knows how to survive.
Weaknesses:
ELITIST: It doesn't take much for Joshua to look down on people and distrust his allies. His war on ignorance, as he calls it, has lead him to be extremely apathetic to social affairs and view people lesser than him. He is extremely distrusting and judgmental.
CHRONIC RSI: Joshua has difficulty performing tasks that require a steady hand because of his chronic RSI. Coupled with the pressure in other situations, he can find acting without strange impulses difficult. He is almost always shaking and prefers putting his hands in his pockets.
PARANOID: He is also extremely paranoid. Created by a sense of obsessiveness at a young age and reinforced by bullying when he was an adolescent, Joshua can rarely find people comforting and feels he constantly needs to act like an "Alpha male". His desire for unobtainable masculinity is demeaning to his self esteem and causing him to constantly reevaluate his life. He wants to help people, but he knows, from countless philosophical teachings, that a busy life is bare, and friendship and love will fade, leaving only his shaking hands and broken mind.
Belongings:
He has decided to embrace the American culture and is currently reading the Bible. Despite being a spiteful anti-theist, he finds pleasure in dissecting the faith of others.
After tearing his shirt from falling down the stairs, he decided to turn it into a bandana covering his mouth and nose.
Even though the wifi was lost a long time ago, whatever power left in it has been kept as a torch, or more commonly, a loud speaker to play his music.
Despite being in a zombie apocalypse, Joshua never thought too much about weaponry. He is notoriously anti-gun and never felt the need to find one before or even after the infection began. He did, however, find a curtain pole did an adequate job. He usually carries it and but can tuck it underneath his hoodie.
Personality: Joshua wanted to save the world. He had grown bitter about everyday life and had wished for people to come together and overcome their differences. Yet, he had never got into any danger before. The life of a man on the edge trickled through his mind and warmed his ears. His exponential curiosity for nature made him eager to see a life abroad and he had been living in Dover for little less than two months before the outbreak began. Whimsical and almost day-dreamy, Joshua wants to enjoy life, knowing he'll die someday, when he is a slave to his own foul, selfish consciousness. Pessimism is realism, and a sunny day will soon spell rain.
Hey, are you still accepting? I'd love to join, so here's my CS:
