More than Human

Both Zio and Mira felt the invisible force trying to take them over. As it was starting to dig through their memories and motivation. Deep inside Zio's mind and soul was a slimmer of darkness that fought against the psychics power, inside Mira's mind and soul there was a shining light bigger then the darkness inside Zio fighting against the psychics powers.

In the real world Mira dropped to her knees as she dropped her sword into the ground, she held her head with her hands, Zio was still holding his head from earlier. Both of them were in tremendous pain as the psychics assault continued. Zio's dark aura flickered for a second as then it grew more powerful and started fighting back the psychics assault to a point were he could stand. Zio slowly got up and started walking towards the psychics his left eye was turning completely black as he slowly got closer to the psychics. He didn't care how much he got hurt or in how much pain he was, he just kept thinking about his sister and that she was in pain.

It all happened way too fast for Zio who was now on the ground trying to recover from the mental attack on him. He grabbed his head as it was still ringing quite a bit. After dodging the spider demon's attack Mira looked at her step-brother seeing he was in some kind of pain she grew furious. "How dare you hurt my brother!!" She creamed as for a split second her eyes lighted up, then her sword began glowing with a pure white light. "Holy Devastation!" Mira sceamed as she slashed her sword in the air and as she slashed the air a massive energy blast made of pure holy magic/energy was sent towards the spider-demon and his riders.

As soon as Zio and Mira saw all the people jumping out of the alleys, both Zio and Mira grew a small grin. Mira unsheathed her sword and started to charge at the eight legged demon. While Mira was charging at the demon Zio also charged in the same direction as his step-sister, only he was aiming for the people that were riding on the demon. "Chaos Drive!" Zio shouted as he was covered in a pure black aura.

When Mira was close enough to the eight legged demon she slashed right through one of its legs, getting it off balance. Zio on the other hand jumped over Mira and punched on of the guys riding it in his gut. Zio's punch was so strong that it send the guy flying directly in a building, blood could be seen coming out of the opening in the building. Both Mira and Zio jumped back after their attack and landed next to each other.

After reading what happened to Barto I'm trying to decide if I should have one of my characters go over to him and start poking him with a stick XD

Both Zio and Mira saw the blast hit the agent of light." Damn that's gotta hurt." Zio and Mira said in unison. Mira looked to where the blast came from and although she couldn't see it she could sense someone or something there. Mira placed her hand on the hilt of her sword just so she was ready for anything. "Brother keep your guard up." Mira told Zio as she looked to him. "Yeah, I know Mira." Zio said he also noticed something strange going on.

Zio arrived at the cafe where everyone was. He waited outside on the other side of the street, his sword resting in his right hand as he watched the situation inside the cafe. He was waiting, waiting for someone to make the first move.

Zio just stood there focused on the three people who were in the middle of a stand off. "This is going to get ugly." Zio said to himself as he could feel a hand being placed on his shoulder. When he looked to see who's hand it was he was surprised to see that hand belonging to his step-sister Mira. "Mira what are you doing here I taught you were out of town?" Mira just gave a small smile. "Yeah I was supposed to leave, but then I decided that I should stay here and keep you out of trouble." Mira said as she removed her hand of Zio's shoulder. "Haha keep me out of trouble as far as I can remember you were the one always getting in to trouble." Zio said with a grin. Both of them were now watching the two fighters and the agent of light.
