Don't know, I just like stealth, and my character has hid from others for a long time now, so he needs to be good in blending in. Also, if your power is to summon and control guns, you need to have some extra side-skills if you want to survive.
EDIT: I agree on the 'no anti-venom' thing. Maybe you should make it that there is a vaccin for it, making you temporarily immune to it, but you need a sample of the saliva in advance to be able to make it.
I can see where you're coming from. I didn't actually mean to imply that there can never be an anti-venom, just that there is none, right now. Goes hand in hand with the fact that nobody really knows about there being a venom to begin with. I'll change that bit regardless to make it less cryptic.
As for the shapeshifting aspect, I could probably take that out if it bothers you explicitly. It wouldn't take away -much- from a practical perspective. I just thought it'd be more interesting to play out.
Concerning stealth, in my case that's referring to the ability to 'disappear' in crowds via minor shapeshift-esque adjustments. That's all I really wanted to express and stealth was the most fitting single word for it.
Being good at hiding from other people isn't exactly stealth. Stealth is about moving about unseen, doing things, taking actions, without being noticed. Just being good at hiding means you're just good at hiding. Blending into crowds is one sort of stealth I suppose. And I don't mean to be a dick about these things it just bothered me since agility and stealth is what my character does so it's kind of silly when every other character is stealthy too. Takes away part of my character.
The shapeshifting doesn't bother me though. And I'm cool with the venom as long as it isn't a silly insta-kill to everything.
The t-rex has an implant that shocks it when it gets too close to the fence. To get out of the main door you need one of the security officers or park staff to use their palm print and punch in a code to open the door. Which means only Marie, Eliza or Sylvia could open it.

They are not very magic adept, and for the most part they banish magic within their walls as it's too powerful and dangerous. Humans are quite unique in that they don't really have predetermined breeds. They are very versitile as a race and don't have different sub-breeds. So no, you will not be asked to make a choice about what kind of humans your people are. The list of actions are appearent in my turn posts. Check the IC and check the first few posts I made, and check the hiders that each player receives. You will also be given your own hider, with the list and nation stats included.

The Saltborn are curious creatures, at best. They are bipedal, and for all intensive purposes can be classified as 'humanoids'.
The average saltborn is a thin, tall, creature who rises up to the height of 7 feet. They can hardly be called large, however, as their bodies hardly weigh enough to bring truly impactful force behind their tall stature. They don't have hair, and their skin is waxy [in the sense that water would run right off of them]. The distinct lack of dominant facial structure is possibly the most eery of the Saltborn's traits, as their faces are fairly uniform amongst them...
A Saltborn's face is mostly smooth, with clear spheres for eyes. The rare saltborn has coloration in its iris. The mouth is hard to distinguish from the rest of the face until one witnesses a Saltborn eat or speak, making them appear to simply have no defining structure until these actions take place. Telling the Saltborn genders apart is almost impossible without the assistance of the Saltborn themselves.
--The Heaven Forged--
Since the rise of the saltborn long ago, when the ocean's breath first brought life to the shores, it is only natural that the heavens have struck down upon the shores of the oceans from time to time, and that a Saltborn fell prey to lightning due to their tall stature.
Most Saltborn die from this, their bodies too frail to handle the heat and power.
The rare Saltborn, however, survives; the Heaven Forged.
The Heaven Forged typically renounce whatever lifestyle that had before and transition into a hunter/soldier life.
The physical transition between a Saltborn and a Heaven Forged is extremely apparent; the Heaven Forged lose the waxy seal upon their person, and seem to be made of an almost glass-like material in its stead. They are hardier than the average Saltborn, marginally, but the key difference is that the Heaven Forged are much faster, physically, and also bear natural weaponry such as warped limbs and jagged edges, turning their bodies into lethal tools.

I had this immensely curious idea pop into my mind and decided to throw together basic information about it and slap it down here to see how it was received. I may have gotten a bit too far-fetched with it, but this is how everything fell together in my head. Since it is a custom race I did need to post it here regardless, so my timid nature had better go sit in its corner!

Julius liked to do wild things, and Razzil seemed to be the overlord of wild things, but even he realized that breaking the rules wasn't acceptable around here. He must attend the detention and help out Basil the Crafts teacher. Maybe he could learn something in the process? Make new friends? Seeing Jenny Redoak there probably wouldn't happen. She seemed to be a well-behaved girl and probably wouldn't attend detention, since she'd never get detention in the first place!
But something bugged Julius... The poor student who had been crushed by the door when Razzil had released his energy in the classroom. Julius didn't know if it was a boy or a girl, but... Was he/she alright? Lunch was getting lonely, however, and Julius felt even more lonely with such depressing thoughts as these. So he tried to have a look around to see if there was any others he could socialize with. Maybe sit next to some group of kids his age if they had an empty seat? Julius liked to surround himself with people and so far Desmond was a wreck and Auron was a gloom. He didn't know if he could count on them as friends when the time came.
If no such oppotrunity was to present itself, Julius would simply finish his meal, attend the next class, and sit out his detention. Supper would be late this evening, it seems.

If you fine people are still planning to do the rebood/adoption of this thingy thing here (which I'd assume to be true given the recent-ness), I'd have two questions.
First, would you have room for one more? Second, how 'dark' is this aiming to be? I'd have a character idea in the back of my head but it's kinda...grim. I'm sure 'it' and this infamous Lady Nightmare would get along really well though.
