Some things are just certain. Like death, taxes, and lying in the Mystery Dungeon personality tests.

No, I can't believe how little all this means to me.

I'm a long-time Roleplayer looking to do something with my life. My name is Chuuya, Chuu, or Oliver and I'm a 23 year old that lives with relatives outside Tampa. I like 2D fighting games, discovering new music on the daily, and I'm about as much of a weaboo as the next guy. At the moment, I'm currently in the middle of guerilla warfare with the roaches in my bathroom and the dumbest thing I've ever done was fly across the country for work during a national crisis. I like listening to people's problems and I sometimes think about the fanfictions that I'd like to write too. I'm also pretty good at reading people, but other than that, I'm actually pretty boring.

I don't have a preference for Roleplaying though I tend to bore very easily and get distracted by the next shiny plot that comes along. I'm open to about anything though I'm too inexperienced for smut (I have to know my partner for a minimum of a year before I feel comfortable writing it anyway). I've been Roleplaying for a little over a decade now and I'm mostly adjusted to "chat-based" Roleplays (i.e. Discord), but I'm open to new experiences. That's all I can think for now, but ask me anything and I'll be happy to share.

My best friends, @Lyly and @Tiger, also use this website.

Oh, right.

I wasn't sure where to put this interest check because I wanted it to be relatively laid-back, a bit lazy, and a bit short. That's why I threw it in Free. I'm fine bumping it up to Casual though. Is there anyone that feels strongly either way? Majority would rule.

you got my interest, hatrack

Thanks, Mackerel. I'll see about drafting an OOC sometime soon, but I'll still be reading for any other future interest.
Hey this sounds c-

Yeaaaah. I want it to be relatively laid-back and c a s u a l. That said, I'd be willing to bump it up to Casual if that's preferred. I just wanted something quick, sweet, and fluffy.
I've never really done anything this warm or generally kindly in premise before but I think it might be a refreshing change of pace for my tastes and I've similarly never really done much for the holidays but in recent years the frigid reaches of Winter have warmed my heart and claimed their place as my favorite season.

Couple questions:

  • Would the players be taking on the role of Lemmas' residents, the human visitors or some mix thereof?
  • Is there any reference material I should familiarize myself with to get relevant context for the setting?

I can't believe that both of us will be reviving our cold dead hearts here.

Anyway. . To answer your questions, players would be able to choose between the wayward humans, the natives of the village, or both. I'm open to letting people play multiple characters so long as they can reasonably handle it. As for your second question, the answer is no. This is an entirely original universe and anything to be added will be at our discretion.

Welcome to the Guild, @Galaxyfighter4.

Although you already seem to be figuring the website out yourself, please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. I'd be more than happy to help you. Otherwise, I hope you find what you're looking for and enjoy the time that you spend on here.
@Chuuya My dude, you are a skilled writer and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I am really, really, really not, but thank you.

The settlement of Lemmas Peak was founded at some point in the early 1400s. It originally acted as a safe haven for those that were persecuted in nearby regions for their magical prowess and supernatural abilities. As such, this lovely fairy tale-estque village is home to a variety of entities ranging from witches, wizards, werewolves, vampires to even fairies and elves. For the most part, it's safely hidden away from curious human eyes thanks to an invisible barrier. Every year, however, this barrier falls apart on the "holiest" month of the year: December. At least the village is still comfortably hidden somewhere atop Switzerland deep within the European Alps. This year, however, it seems that a batch of humans have been mysteriously teleported to this picturesque location! At least denizens of The Peak seem to be open to their company and sharing their holiday season with these wayward souls.

Hi. I'm Chuuya and I have a lot of problems.

I have very little experience leading my own Roleplays and even less with managing to stay focused on them. I want to try, however, and I'm welcoming anyone to join me for this little adventure. I'm looking to run some sort of seasonal or holiday-based Roleplay using this as my pitch. It's a little vague right now and I'm not sure if I'll ever actually develop it further, but I'm open to any sort of feedback or suggestions. I'm really just looking for something that's fluffy, soft, laid-back, and maybe even a little short (I would be willing to run it past the holidays too if there's interest!). Key themes will be focused on found family, love, friendship, celebrating the holidays, and so on.

I'm not picky about group sizes or who plays what as I feel like this setting is enough for people to drag in all sorts of OCs. I'd be willing to develop it further and possibly create an OOC Discord too if there's enough interest. So, with all of that said. .

Is there anyone here who might be interested in this?
@Chuuya Dang'ol join us....talking bout good...yeah man!

I've literally never seen a King of the Hill episode in my life.
