Cleveraptor's Not So Cleverly Named Interest Check

Couldn't possibly hurt to post a 1×1 interest check, right? Anyways, I'm Cleveraptor. I'm a 28 year old male from the US, and I'm someone who enjoys science fiction and fantasy, especially if it involves monsters. Daikaiju leveling cities? I love it. Fighting alien bugs on a far-off rock? Love it. Cute monster girls (and boys)? What the heck, why not?

I've been writing since I was in middle school, but I like to keep my responses relatively short. Getting walls of text can be quite overwhelming for me, so I'd call myself Free-Casual level, though I strive to keep my spelling and grammar up to snuff (thank my English teachers).

Aside from sci-fi and fantasy, I'm a big sucker for wholesome romance. As far as romance goes, I write MxF (me playing M) and FxF (because who doesn't like cute girls falling in love with each other?). Romantic subplots aren't necessary for a RP, but you'll grab and hold my attention faster if you mention you'd like some romance.

On mature content

I'm no stranger to people looking for a little fun and smut, so I'll get this out of the way. As far as smut goes I only play MxF (with me as M), and aside from a few things like cosplay and cute/sexy outfits, and certain body types, I'm very vanilla. I'm fine with violence (I grew up on creature features and M-rated shooters), but I'm not one to write a crap load of gore unless it serves some kind of purpose for the story.

Plot Idea - Mecha and Kaiju

Several hundred years in the future, humanity has spread to the stars, and have colonized dozens of new worlds in the Milky Way. As time went on, tensions rose until they reached a breaking point, resulting in war across known space. One little planet has decided to remain neutral during the war, and continued life as usual. Its forests were felled, its seas fished, and its mountains mined. One day that all changed. Massive creatures rose from the depths of the sea, laying waste to coastal cities for weeks before they were killed by the planet's military forces. At first it was thought to be a one-off incident. But as more creatures - dubbed "Tenshi" by the media - began appearing, a task force was put together to fight them.

Persuaded by outside sources, the planetary government began importing humanoid machines known as "Hachiman" in order to combat the Tenshi.

Well, pilot? Are you ready to fight some Tenshi?

Plot Idea - Halo: Fireteam Maegophet

In an effort to improve relations between the UNSC and Swords of Sanghelios, a joint fireteam is put together to deal with threats like Insurrectionists, the Created, Covenant remnants, and/or the Banished. In particular I would like to play as my SPARTAN-III and Unggoy characters.

Plot Idea - Welcome to Jurassic World

In 2018, the prehistoric animals from Isla Nublar, as well as the technology to create them, were unleashed on an unsuspecting world. In this new world where humans and prehistoric animals are forced to coexist, the Department of Prehistoric Wildlife, as well as other government and private entities, has made it their mission to protect human and dinosaur life wherever they can. One of the biggest projects is relocating wild dinosaurs to sanctuaries across the globe. Ready to make a difference?

Plot Idea - Dungeon Crawling Adventures

Inspired by my lifelong love of the WildTangent Fate games, as well as series like DanMachi. Adventurers travel the dungeon seeking fame and riches, battling (mostly) terrifying monsters and navigating perilous traps. Will you find wealth beyond your wildest dreams, or wind up bring gobbled up by a hungry monster?

Plot Idea - It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine!)

Inspired by the wonderful series that is Zom 100, the premise is simple: the apocalypse is upon us in some form (zombies, a disease, nuclear war, aliens, motherfucking dragons, etc.), but we're not gonna let that get us down. Time to have some fun and live life to the fullest before kicking the bucket!

Plot Idea - Helping a Rookie Adventurer

YC is a new adventurer with big ambitions of becoming a legend. However, for one reason or another, people don't like partying up with her, and she hasn't been able to get as far as she would like as a result. Sulking at the bar, she's approached by a higher-level adventurer (MC) who offers to help YC out.

I've separated this from my other adventurer plot because it's fairly specific. I would love to play opposite a female character who's stubborn and hard-headed (bonus points if she's a tsundere!), and doesn't do well in adventurer parties. Basically I want a good mix of humor, drama, action, and romance!

Plot Idea - Guild Meeting IRL

A pair (or small group) of gamers playing the same game together have decided to meet up IRL for the first time! They've spoken to each other in-game, but this is the first time that they'll see and hear each other for real. What shenanigans ensue?

A simple little story inspired by the series "And You Thought There Is Never a Girl Online?"/"Netoge no Yome wa Onna no Ko Janai to Omotta?". What happens when these friends in-game meet up? What personalities and issues do they bring to the table? Where do their in-game personas end and their real-world personalities begin? And how will this all come together for humor and drama? In particular, my character is going to be shy and nervous, though perhaps a bit grumpy.

I'm currently on my phone right now, so I'll update this when I get on my computer with pairings, concepts, and ideas. But I would be happy to brainstorm ideas! Bring some ideas of your own, throw them at the wall, and see if anything sticks. I myself have some relatively niche ideas that I would love to explore, and would be very happy to talk about them.

@Fish of Oblivion After the invasion by the armies of the Seven Great Demon Lords, Demon Digimon tend to get a bad rap, though this isn't the case everywhere. One region in particular is extremely hostile towards Demon Digimon, but we won't get there for a while. Otherwise it tends to fluctuate. Some Digimon understand that not all Demon Digimon agreed or allied with the Demon Lords, while others take a firm "we-don't-serve-your-kind-here" stance.

I believe it would be okay if they've attained Champion level, but for one reason or another (such as being defeated in battle and their data bring taken away) they've reverted to Rookie.
