Are Medusa's body hairs actually just tiny snakes?

Bio

I'm a sucker for romance, sci fi, fantasy and just about any modern city with a twist like monster hunting or super powers. Been writing for years, I didn't learn how to read till I was 12 so the moment I got the hang of it, I could not stop. Filling journals with stories one after the other, my younger sister eventually got me into role playing and it created a monster. I will play with you all day if you reply, post for post and will give you as much detail as I can.

Oh shoot I think I worded that wrong. Her family went on tour and she was with them so she grew up on the road. And yes she is more than open to new things, main reasons why her mother allowed her to go in the first place.
@Krinos Solstice

Well thats the smart rout at least.
hopefully GM is aright.
Name: Lakota Sky
Nickname: Sky
Age: 16
Class: Trick performer. (Someone who trains alongside pokemon to preform dangerous stunts with them in the future.)

Appearance:
Like to dress as what her family calls a reble. But when shes in the ring she can be seen in sportsmen cloths from riding pants and boots to jump suits. Has a set of green eyes with curly red hair, something that always stuck out with her family but that she wore with pride.

Personality: Lakota is a daring girl, a full time adrenaline junky that was practically drilled into her from a young age and she loved every moment of it. She is a person who if sees something wrong will act first and always go with her gut. Although it goes against her training, each performance she has, she plans for months for each trick to be perfect and safe, but when it comes to the real world were everything can go wrong, close steady thinking tends to go out the window. Shes kind, a bit on the loud side but will stick up for those who needs a hand and will not hesitate to call someone out.

Background: Lakota was adopted and taken in as a member of the Sky family. She was only three years old when she was taken in and really has no idea where she came from. Only that she was loved by the sky family and that Unova was and will always be her home no matter what happens.
When she was a child pokemon trick preforming was almost unheard of due to how large gym battles and contests had become. Training that took entire life times and were still dangerous was being practiced less and less, yet Lokota's mother, Cheyenne did not give up on the family legacy. Lokota would look outside her bedroom window and watch her mother for hours try to perfect the family trade with determination on her features. Ever since then made it a point to try and be like her parents, stubborn in everything till they get what they started for.
Learning how to ride before she could walk she was given a Bouffalant when she was only four year old as a pet,. Lokota loving that bull to the point that she would bring it in the house and absolutely refuse to put in in a poke ball caused her mother to start to take the girl under her wing.
Life had become a dream for Lakota. Onix, laprass, milotics, Charizards, any pokemon that she could ever think of was brought to her home at one point or another, small or large, young or old and she got to train with them all throughout her life. She slept in the barn, told all her secrets to them, and had a constant need to draw the things she would see when she was working. She interacted with pokemon far more than she had with humans. It took her life over to the point that while her parents were developing their performances to take on the rode, Lakota was doing the same with what she was being taught.Every fall she spat up dirt and got back on, every scrape she sucked up her tears and asked her father's companion to come back, or not to worry when it fretted over the youngest sky. She was stubborn enough to Actually go far enough and create her most heart stopping stunt, stand on the back of her father's charizard in flight, no safety gear, no net as she leaps from safety to open air only to be caught by the dragon.
Yet even than her Bouffalant stole her heart. The thundering chaos of hooves would always be heard as the six year old would stand tall and proud on a rampaging bull, hand stands on his shoulders or placing her feet in the harness in just a way that she stuck out the side to open air perfectly. Nothing ever beat the work she could do with her bull.

At age six she became Lakota girl of the sky. Travailing all across Unova alongside her mother and father she got to see all kinds of things growing up, and throwing things like fear out the window. Her family home forgotten as they took to the road, spreading the word far and wide that trick preforming was still here, and that such dangers could still be done.
Lokota became her own person on the road, her love of art developing into quit the skill with a pen she could be found sitting anywhere and skecting her work with her Bouffalant or father's charizard. Friends were fast yet always fleeting, always saying goodbye in the same breath as hello yet she would do so with a smile on her face at the idea that she could make more memories in the next town. A young woman growing up on the road that would break away from camp to explore and see some incredible things as a reward. Shes shook hands with the champions, congratulated for her work, fought battles with the team she trained with in the ring. She was living every trainer's dream

And yet she did not have a pokemon that she could say was hers after age 14. Her beloved Bouffalant was growing to old to continue their travels together, and so was entrusted to her grandparents.
The news hit Lokota hard. Yes she rode her father's charizard through the skies to be dropped, she would move through the joints of her mother's Steelix without a thought. But to know that her Bouffalant could no longer preform with her was making her feel like she let her childhood partner down.

It was not until she found a Ponyta being sold by hand to hand that she thought to really try to gain her own partner again. Age 15 a full year passing and yet when passing through a festival to hear a screaming foal, the trick rider Lokota was back. Without even blinking she bought that foal, letting it loose in the woods near by only to find that it was too stubborn to leave. She remembered how there was something about it's eyes, a determination that refused to leave.
And so with a smile on her face she let the little guy come back home with her. Naming him Amate she found herself actually connected with a pokemon again for the first time since she had to give up her Bouffalant. Amate only being what looked like a year and a half, had a lot to learn though. And so with two equally stubborn souls they practised together, non stop training. It was back to sleeping in the barn, spitting up dirt from falling and drying tears from broken bones.

There was something else about Amate that was different from Lokota's Bouffalant. That little horse was fast, powerful strides that made every move look heart stopping as she would kick her leg perfectly in the air, her torso hanging down only to fall next to the now stallion's deadly hooves. A trick that she loved almost as much as the move called the spear.

Her Amate, now a full grown rapidash standing even taller than most horses shes seen looked to be a grand creature. Lakoto took to him with as much pride as her parents had for her. And so, as they sat down with her, tears in their eyes they offered her to start her journey as a real trainer in Kalos, even if its a little late in life.

Amete:

Miscellaneous: Lakota is a huge nerd for anything with fantasy lore and dreams of making a team full of pokemon with dragon and fire types due to them being the best to work with in trick preforming.

Trick preforming is also loosely based on trick riding, the most dangerous form of horse back riding.

oh wow there are a lot of characters up and running over here. Is it full in here or do you think its still okay to try and get my lady in?
@Crossfire

Piece by piece she was taking the Tessla pack apart, a soft smile on her face at the familiarity her hands worked with. The sound of the door opening behind her she nodded her head when she heard Brick talk about a long night and Fuago. "Well every night for me is a long one, kinda all I do. But shes going to pack a punch like nothing other that I made."

Stopping for a moment when she was asked if she could keep a secret she grabbed the table to steady herself, grabbing the other hand she tried to face him, slowly trying to turn. "Well course I can, not much else I can do. And you have leverage over me, not a whole lot of people know I'm alive and if someone knew that there was a wheel chair bound woman in the wasteland...well you look smart enough to figure out what that kind of life that would open for me..."

That was what Eden always said to her, it wasn't to scare her it was just to make her more careful. Still she offered a smile, about to get back to work when Brick spoke of the other guy. "Oh..umm, you'd think he'd notice? Or you think I could come across as lazy?"
Instead he offered her a way out, speaking to him through a crack in the door she nodded her head, agreeing to the idea. "Aright, sounds like a plan. So long as he doesn’t realize that I'm broken."

@Sohtem
Wheeling to the other side of the room she held out her arms to brace herself, unable to stop the wheels because of splinters and no breaks the wall had a dull "thud" when her out stretched arm's caught herself on the other side. Seeing the door cracked she peered out till only a single golden eyes underlined with freckles was seen. Though she didn't even realize that she was too low not to miss that something was up.
"Oh its you, did you find everything? You aright?" she couldn't help but worry when she crosses paths again, maybe he lost something or needed someone. Her voice friendly, almost untouched by the wasteland she tilted her head so that he could see more of her face as she looked up.
@Crossfire

Nodding her head Aurora moved her chair, looking through a tool box, pulling out a screw driver she looked at the end nodding to herself when she saw it was what she needed.
Pulling the Tesla Pack on her lap she began taking it apart, putting piece by piece on the table just in her reach as she listened to what was going on. "Forge killed someone....." Shes never been one that would freak out over a death but for something so small? Was she really in a safe situation?

Chase rose a brow when the Brick guy began to ask him to stand outside like he done with Aurora. Looking over at the red head she seemed to be on cloud nine when at work. If something happened she would be a sitting duck. "Fine, but if you so much as lay a hand on her I'll know and raiders would be the last thing to worry about."
Slinging his shot gun over his back he made his way through the shop, lazily sitting in a chair on the pouch, looking at the activity going on before him. Would he be like this if Eden stopped paying for him? Wandering around aimlessly hoping work would come his way? A sigh escaping his lips he looked back through the window. If something happened to that girl caps would be the last thing to worry about.

@Crossfire

Aurora made no time getting Fuago back, the weapon almost falling on her lap and landing in a way that probably done some bruising as she began to wheel in the back room. Away from the sight of the other person, and already at ease when she saw what the actual workshop had to offer. "Oh man if I had something like this can you imagine what I could do?"

Chase doing as he was told gathered the rest, looking around he seemed to just shrug. "What you do every damn night?" Earning a glare from the woman she began to look around at the tools and equipment organized throughout the space. "No, not even close if I could work with this I could have made that suit of power armour a year ago."

Trying to set Fuago on the table only caused problems though, her chair wheeling back from her being too short she was caught by Chase who sighed, picking up the laser and setting her down on the table herself. "Gonna have to get you a better chair sometime."

"Yeah, one that makes it so I can look you guys in the eye."
@Crossfire@Sohtem

Ohh I like that idea. I was planning on having Eden realize that Aurora was gone and freak out. Makes it even worse if her sister is in Davenport when that happens.

Don't worry, I liked it so far, and I added a bit to the end of my post for your character as well.
@Crossfire @Sohtem

With enough effort Aurora was able to set Fuago down on the table, like a child she had to peer over the edge, her own workshop having to have been cut down for her to use properly yet she didn't complain as she took the covers off to show off her work. It seems she was doing as was told, everything nice and clean, while some of the pieces were on the older side she had a altered fusion core in the centrer to accommodate for it as well as a circuit board acting as a backing and adding more power. A handle on the top to be held like a mini gun it seems the girl had some fun with giving some open parts a red finish to add to it's given name.

"I work with what I got, actually I'm not supposed to be outside right now. I'm kinda a easy target out here cause I can't walk and all so my family kinda locks me away and I get what she finds. Its better than nothing but she's not the brightest when it comes to the mechanics of the weapons she uses, can't even fix my damn chair with what I got."
She was already tinkering with fuago as she spoke under her breath, "but boy is she a sharp shooter..."

Looking over to see Brick with an arm load of good caused her eyes to light up. "Oh wow its like Christmas, thats a military grade circuit board that the brotherhood of steel hoards, I was only able to get my hands on one of those." Nodding her head at the offer she looked back at the table that seemed just a bit too tall for her to get her hands in Fuago's centre.
"Usually..I would say no with pride and everything. But I think I'm gonna need your help, I brought the plans if that makes it easier." Holding out her journals she brought out a few pages worth of notes.

Hearing the door open though caused her head to turn, eyes wide in a face of fear when she saw the person that they were travailing with. Before she was riding, but now she was in her chair, a stranger who she had no idea what he would do was looking at her and there was no way she could explain to him how she was not a cripple.
"Please don't tell anyone I'm here." The words were already out of her mouth before she could think, looking back at Chase who was already glaring at him. "If I were you I would listen to the lady."
