Are Medusa's body hairs actually just tiny snakes?

Bio

I'm a sucker for romance, sci fi, fantasy and just about any modern city with a twist like monster hunting or super powers. Been writing for years, I didn't learn how to read till I was 12 so the moment I got the hang of it, I could not stop. Filling journals with stories one after the other, my younger sister eventually got me into role playing and it created a monster. I will play with you all day if you reply, post for post and will give you as much detail as I can.

Yes, the hunt as well as normal village elements. If newer players need help in this though than I will ease them through.

Sharing some food with Amate, Lakota was finally getting the stallion to calm down. He was just irritated because they hadn't eaten in a while. "There, no need to be a big baby now is there?"

Looking over though she saw a boy with blue hair running over with his own companion. Asking her what kind of cafe this was she just shrugged her shoulders. "No idea, just got here and we were heading to the park." Amate nodding in agreement he looked at his trainers hand for another puffin, nudging it only to get what he was looking for and greedily eating.

"Well, yeah I guess they look strong, wouldn't really know. Battling is kinda new for us." Shes always done trick riding, nothing in between and it was her life. But now it was time to expand on their abilities. "What do you think Amate? Think we should try our first battle sometime?"
The flames about her grew brighter, expanding like a dance of power in acknowledgement to her words. A braaying sound escaping the Rapidash he slightly reared in anticipation. "That a boy, I knew you were excited. Hey, name's Lakota, what's yours?"

"Well how did you ask? Did she say anything like she had something to do? you gotta be careful when working with the ladies Allen. Their delicate when it comes to leaving." His voice a whisper he kept his gaze on the two new comers, "least shes talking to someone. Lokota here only reads, never gets his face out of the book."

"Rich family? That must be hard. Guess you can say we were well off." Raising a brow at the comment of knowledge he finally looked up. He was a bit different, one could tell he was a foreigner with slightly curly hair and mismatched eyes. "You really never thought you wouldn't use other languages? Sorry but I have a hard time coming up with a explanation on why you would think that."

Closing the book he sighed, the leather bound beauty held carvings of just about everything, ribbons and pages of old sticking out of the side with a copper lock that bound it cover to cover. "You should eat, I hear they push you to missions the same day they figure out how strong your innocence is."
@LunayMochizuki (Sorry, was getting ready for stuff tomorrow)

"Oh come now, once a pip squeak always a pip squeak. Though I have to admit Miss Miharu here is on the small size." A smirk on his features he gave a cat like glance to Allen. "Least her hight fits her."

Looking at the small woman Lavi gave a frown, he tried to say hello, a smile for a moment only to realize that she was not having anything to deal with ether of them. "Jeez Allen what did you do to the lady? Shes colder than Yuu"

Lakota watched the woman with a brow raised, sitting down as he listened to her words. "Don't think any of us do, its one thing or another." His eyes were scanning over the words as he spoke, as though he were speaking to another. "Came from Germany, I was lucky enough to speak the common tongue here..you?"
"Hey pip squeak!" Lavi was already waving to the new comers, stuffing his face with his new forced shadow still reading. "Guess you got a new recruit? Nice, this here is Lakota, guy doesn’t talk much but he writes more than a bookman, might loose my job with the panda to him." Waving it off with a bit of laughter all lakota done was turn the page.

A sigh escaping his lips Lakota decided to look back up, closing the book in front of him and adding it to the stack. A gaze of ice and fire finding a girl dressed in red and looking to be as lost as he was. "So, you got dragged here? Sorry, guess not everyone gets a choice." Shrugging his shoulders he simply grabbed another book from the stack.
"Oh come on boomworm, let loose and get your nose up out of the pages. Least you can say hi to Allen."

"Hey Allen, I'm working and the loud mouth dragged me away. Nice to meet you all." Speaking with his head down he once again grabbed his pen. Writing down his thoughts while he was greeting everyone.
The halls of the black order being rebuilt caused a stirring sound to constantly buzz through the rooms. The ticking of a clock passing by "tick" by "tick"
The shuffled footsteps of tired souls patted past a door. Empty stomach sounding off and limbs sore from constant battles in the hunt for innocence. Finally in the safety of home, and the smell of food gracing their senses, the groans and moans of the black order was finally shifting and waking.

Dressed in a plain hoodie and sweats, Lokota was propped in his bed, a pen waving through the pages of a leather bound book in silence. He was going through the ideas of fantasy, trying to describe the ideas the danced vividly in his mind so close that he could almost touch them, reaching to grasp what lay in his gaze.
A rasping sound on the door broke the spell though. A growl rumbling in his throat he found himself rolling his eyes when Lavi poked his head through. "Come on man, you can't stay in your room forever" A knowing smirk on his features were only met with the annoyance of blue and crimson orbs. "Yes I can, I was writing."
"You can write later, come on and meet the guys."

Being dragged through the halls Lokota stayed silent as Lavi happily explained what was going on. How they have new recruits besides him and that he was going to love it here.
Walking to the mess hall though all he did was break off from the red head, placing his books on a table and beginning to read. "Uh.Lokota, you going to get some food?"

"I'll get food later, I just want to read right now Lavi."
@LunayMochizuki We can start whenever, here I'll set up starting post
Name: Lakota
Age: 19

Personality: A calm and collected person, usually keeping to himself around strangers he is sometimes seen as not the most friendly of people. But when it comes to his friends hes been known to joke quit often. Having a brotherly sense to those who are in need of help and is actually laid back. Its just finding people that could get past his quite nature and unnerving gaze is what he has trouble with.

Innocence:

Book of the binding thought.
When activated Lakota can turn the world in which he stands into his own story. Reciting the lines of past thoughts and dreams he can conjure what hes seen and use them for his own gain.

History:
Lokota grew up in a library with his little sister Rena. A tiny blind albino of a girl she had loved nothing more than to hear him read her stories that Lokota wrote in his journal. His father being his source of inspiration as a travailing writer he looked up to no one more than him.
Yet tragedy struck, when Rena and Lakota's father left to the woods during winter to gain inspiration he vanished, only to find his body in the spring, yet no one could find out how he passed. His mother stricken with grief she ended up never speaking again. Lokota having to provide for both of them the only things that kept him going was his sister welcoming him back and asking for a story.
But than their mother began to change. She was no longer eating, and he could have sworn that she had a switch in personality. It was bothering him far too much, so when he sat down to talk to her he realized that she died a long time ago. Her body shifting into a grotesque creature that tried to kill him, he was saved by a exorcist.

It was than that Lokota was told that he was was a carrier of innocence. The book that was filled with such vivid imagination yet almost always seemed to have had an extra page on hand was speaking to him and him alone. And so, he was sent to the black order on the one condition that his sister would be taken care of.
