Are Medusa's body hairs actually just tiny snakes?

Bio

I'm a sucker for romance, sci fi, fantasy and just about any modern city with a twist like monster hunting or super powers. Been writing for years, I didn't learn how to read till I was 12 so the moment I got the hang of it, I could not stop. Filling journals with stories one after the other, my younger sister eventually got me into role playing and it created a monster. I will play with you all day if you reply, post for post and will give you as much detail as I can.

Pestilence

With war came disease. Pestilence was not long to stir after his brother had woken. Battle after battle had began to leave new illnesses in their wake. Those who are unlucky enough to live in the battle field and nuclear cities were born with sickness in their veins. This alone was not enough to capture the Rider's attention, simply enough to cause him to listen to his brother and nothing more.

It was not until humanity began to purposely create disease. Entire civilizations, wiped out over weaponry as thin as mist. Humanity began to play the role of gods, and they were not content, destroying all plant life, all species of creation in order to fulfil their own selfish ideals of who can kill the world even faster. This was not a species that could continue. And so he began to stand by his brother, all too impatient to destroy the stain on the universe.
War

War had been the first to stir. Humanity fighting at each other's throats for centuries causing him to be reborn. At first he was content, blades of steel, arrows of iron. They were always over petty quarrels in his eyes. Yet they were simple, small occurrences that had caused no harm except to themselves.
Yet as Humanity began to evolve, so did their weapons. Blades turned to guns, arrows turned to ammunition, and the battle field began to rip apart due to nuclear weaponry that caused the world to crumble. That was when they began to go to far in his eyes. The earth itself would no hold out much longer under such strain, yet he could not act alone.
So he waited, chained to the earth while he could have went to watch over some other land, some other world. Thinking less of humanity with each and every breath.
(Simply a guide, she is here to keep the story going so don't worry. Not a Mary sue.)

Name: Susuri
Appearance:

Age: ???
Sex: F
Past occupation: She is the face you see when you cross the border. Bringing forth new life to groom to take the place of gods and kin alike.

Personality: A soft spoken voice that could shake the sky. Susuri is someone who could be forgotten until she commands respect. A hum of power seems to tingle across her skin, yet she never displays forces that have been seen by others around her. She offers words of wisdom, yet it was never given lightly. Though she dose seem to have her wounds, loneliness of her role in life has caused her to wait in solitude for sometimes thousands of years.

History: All that is known so far, is that she has taken the role to fill in gaps that death has left. Nothing shall ever last forever and even the gods themselves have fallen, only to be taken over by creatures of her choosing.

Other: She has gained some interesting skills in her time of solitude.

War, Famine, Pestilent, and Death. Ravaging the world beneath them as they rode through the crumbling earth, bringing forth devastation, the apocalypse behind their thundering hooves. No soul unaffected after the most horrid punishment that could have rained down upon them. Only for the horsemen to be destroyed, their lives ended after bringing forth the ultimate power. They done it for reason, they always do, sacrificing themselves in order to give the earth a chance to be reborn anew.

And Gain new Riders in their stead.

Somewhere in that old world, ruled by the internet, robotics, with the media running through their veins. There lay someone, anyone, four humans that can step it up. To leave their human skin and become gods, to ride through worlds for hundreds of years, waiting to give the ultimate punishment when the time has come. Chosen by a careful hand, they will fight to gain their titles and leave the wounded earth behind. Four will be chosen, four will never go back, and four will ride.

Welcome future horsemen, and women. The world has been destroyed due to the horsemen that had waited and watched the earth become too far in it's own ways, humans ripping itself apart from the inside and refusing to acknowledge the damage that they were doing. Humanity is now just a faded, broken mirror of it's former self. Once a glimmering gem that had gone above and beyond in technology, wiped away in mere moments. Now the horsemen are gone, turned to dust, awaiting to be replaced so that the cycle may start once again. And that may very well be you.
It is up to you to try and rise to take the place of the horsemen. Who would you be? War? Famine? Pestilence? Or even Death itself. It is up to you to fight for the title and prove your worth.

A wispy creature offers you a vile of clear liquid. Instructing you with soft spoken words, drink the substance to fall to sleep, allowing your soul to slip from your body. Will you drink, or will you continue to walk the abandoned plains?

Rules:
They are nothing special. No god modding, no harassment. If you are caught being disrespectful and starting fights with other players, I will kill your character. Don't freak out, I have patients though.

Relief washing over him, Reeman nodded his head egarly at the man named B. Least someone understood him, for a little bit it seems. Hands in a flurry he began to sit down. "Vocal cords are fried, don't worry I can keep up I swear."
One by one, more came, the place starting to become more lively causing the boy to smile. Watching them, each person just someone who was going to start their adventures, friends maybe? Or rivals, least he can tell that it was going to be fun.

There was the boy who seemed rather distant. Another girl who pretty much sneered at the unknown, Mia was it? She reminded him of a high born from some book, someone who had everything given to her. Charlie and his Ghastly seemed to be the perfect image of a adventurer, though it seemed he could use a little conditioning like himself. Than there was Rosa, she seemed nice, clumsy sure, but not everyone could be graceful.
Professor apple seemed to be able to common their attention. A few spoken words causing his head to snap back as though he had gears in his neck. Doe like eyes focusing and hanging on her every word as she went on about how they would be focusing on research. Introducing Lynda who seemed even more eager than he was, and B who caused the mute to worry for his safety.

It was an interesting place to say the least. Talk of missions, research, adventure. It was all so fast and wonderful. Honestly he was half expecting to wake up and find it all as a dream. Yet when Reeman looked up, he found a set of pokeballs placed in front of them. Orbs of shining red and white, humming with the life that teemed inside. He couldn't hide the grin that began to take over his features, the sparkle in his eye as he held a hand over the pokeballs. Fingers brushing over the surface till they settled on one toward the end, solom, calm, yet full of life.
Eyes holding a gaze of peace, Remman carefully picked up the pokeball. A precious treasure lying in his hands. Closing his eyes he put it to his brow for a moment. "Let's make this the start of a long friendship." He couldn't wait, yet he couldn't put it down. A deep breath escaping his lips he carefully released the creature that lay dormant inside, his breath caught, waiting in his throat.

It was short, barely to his waist with a child like appearance. A helmet of green and red. Confusion in it's covered face as the Ralts look around it's new scene.
He couldn't contain himself, picking the Ralts up he engulfed the creature in a hug, quite, wheezy laughter escaping him while the Ralts gave a cheerful cry. It was like he was reliving a memory of his childhood, when his neighbour introduced him to the Ralts that later became his best friend.
How? How could Professor Apple have chosen a Ralts of all pokemon? He didn't care, he simply held it out, a wide smile on his face while the pokemon gave out a cry of approval. Mouthing his words, "my name's Reeman...." He began to realize that maybe the pokemon didn't understand him.
Yet the nod from Ralts caused his fears to melt. She might not be as attuned to him as Gardivor is, but that could change. With a bit of practice they could be unstoppable in whatever they chose to do.
Finally putting the Ralts down, the Pokemon decided to climb onto the table, looking around at the others before staying close to his side, tilting her head this way and that. He forgot how adorable a Ralts was, and just like that, he was as eager as Lynda.
some reason the discord link is expired.
I use discord on the regular. Easy way to contact pepole with a bad computer. Used it in my last RP and we ended up making some serious story lines due to group planning.
@AtaxiaIV

I was originally gonna put on rapidash, but than I realized that it's not on the catchable list. Always need a fire type and thought fletchling would be a good sub.
But yeah, really happy we didn't clash ether XD
