Hmm... how would Akiko react if Ryousei pulled out an actual sword...
She can interrupt the thing. I have no problem with that, haha.
DAMMIT RYOUSEI NOW YA GONE AND DONE IT
Ryousei Aoyama

"Oy geez," he said, raising his arms up, "No need to get hostile."

He turned around, and started to walk away. Then, something stopped him. Maybe it was an impulse. He turned back toward the girl.

"A bat, huh?" he said quietly.

"You know," he continued, louder now, "If you're really itching to do something, really rarin' to go, how about a spar?"

Yep, he'd gone and said it. He couldn't take it back now. So he brought his shinai down, then forward.

"Just to get those muscles moving," he finished, winking.

Don't worry, I've already considered this.
More like (probably) unintentionally provoking her.
I do believe something is about to go down.
Ryousei Aoyama

Ryousei had been sitting next to a tree at the meeting site, watching the grorp of people. The institute appearing out of thin air had been a spectacle, for sure, and Ryousei was definitely impressed. But that had passed and he was brought to the woods for some test.

And now apparently the tester was late? Or something? Ryousei was sitting and looking at the group of first-years.

There were quite a few cuties here.

One of them was pacing around impatiently, though, complaining about the tester being late. Ryousei watched her pacing around for about a minute. As he did, the shinai that had been resting on his shoulder began to move up and down.

He was fidgeting.

He sighed loudly, and stood up.

"Alright, now you're making me antsy," he said, approaching the girl, "Could you be maybe calm down a little?"

here come dat boi

Jun-Sang Kim

"Seems like a waste of time, if you ask me."

As if he had been there all along, Jun-Sang stood behind Mina and Ryuuto his arms crossed as he looked at the gathering of newcomers in the field.

"But then," Jun-Sang said, adjusting his glasses, "I guess I have different priorities than you two."

It was true, to be sure. Jun-Sang didn't really care about other people's powers. After all, it's not like he got into a lot of fights. Keeping to yourself gets you far, is what he'd decided early on. Jun-Sang wasn't entirely sure what he was doing outside, anyway. The truth was, he was still interested in these students, and as much as he didn't feel like admitting it, it was more than just because he was interested in seeing which of the newbies would be "good students".

Though that was a huge part of the reason. After all, he might just have to tutor one or two or twelve of those students. Seeing who behaved and who didn't would go a long way to deciding who he'd dread working with.

But then, he told himself, that wouldn't happen for a while, wouldn't it? None of the newbies would know of him until the flood of desperate students flocked to their guidance counselor asking to be set up with a tutor. At that point...

Well. It had been smooth sailing for him so far. Hopefully that would keep up.

"Though this is one of the few moments where I'm not preoccupied with something else," he finished, "you won't mind if I join you, right?"
